Rounded up to 5 stars We stopped here while driving to Grabd Junction on I 70 West. The Candied Hog Burger was moist and flavorful. The Tuffle Fries (upsell) were decadent and delicious. The outdoor seating area overlooks a stream and is relaxing. The whiskey selection is eclectic, with some interesting options. The service was attentive and we were back on the road quickly.

Very impressed! We needed a good pre-14er hike meal and wanted something filming, but light, and def not greasy junk food. This was it! We were staying just down the road in Georgetown for its proximity to the mountains we were trying to summit. And the food here was delectable! Great flavor, healthy & fresh. We set on the patio which is literally on the creek. They had the windows popped open which allowed the cool night air in as well as the sound of rushing water below. Dont be fooled by the appearance of inside, the food is awesome and the patio is quaint and relaxing! I chose to go with the half Chicken that came with broccolini and mashed potatoes! Everything perfectly cooked and seasoned just right! Our waitress was great! We will def return if we hike in the area again

I cut my steak with a butter knife. Need I say more? We stopped by for a meal prior to our ride on the Georgetown Loop and were pleasantly surprised by the attentive (and entertaining nature) of our server and our mouth watering meal.

I went to Western Colorado for the Palisade Peach Festival in Palisade. I left mid-afternoon Sunday but still hit stop & go traffic in Georgetown. I noticed a local restaurant, Coopers on the Creek. Nice large selection of beers and food items. I overheard from a server that a few hours before, they were swamped. They have a truly good deal with a 12oz draft of New Belgium Mountain Time Premium Lager for only $3. I added a Candied Hog Burger with 8oz ground angus beef topped with chili dusted bacon, gorgonzola cheese and black garlic aioli for $20 with an order of Truffle fries for $3. A tasty and filling meal. The Mtn Time Premium Lager was excellent. They add a 2% Culinary charge. I was served by Megan B and she was nice. I joined their rewards program.

Perfect bite! Whole family satisfied from the burgers. Green chili had a nice kick . Staff nicely split our burger and plated the halves separately, a nice touch of service. Ambiance is nice; I really appreciate the sound absorbtion pads. Really levels the atmosphere. (Brussel sprouts were amazing :D)

Good lunch stop after a train ride next door ( silver plume) The Brussels sprouts, duck confit and chicken sandwich here tasty Truffle fries passed the taste test & the beer selection was cool Kids enjoyed their meals !

A great little place just as you are entering, or leaving, Georgetown. Plenty of good parking and the building and parking lot are extremely clean. You can choose to sit inside the building proper, or you may sit in an enclosed back deck area right near the water. This area by the water is where we sat and we enjoyed it immensely. Maddie, our server, was friendly and spunky. She was attentive and efficient which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The food was on the mid range of average which is why this is a four star review instead of a five. The hemp garden burger was incredible but the Reuben was dry and entirely too light on kraut and dressing. Even the extra kraut I asked for was dry. I was disappointed with this sandwich and wouldn't order it again. The service and attractive location made this place worth the visit. The food was a little disappointing as were the portion sizes.

It's definitely been awhile since I've been to Cooper's on the Creek, but I was pleased to find they're still holding it down. I stopped by with some friends on a Sunday afternoon for some post-hike noshing, and we managed to hit the HH menu, which was a pleasant surprise. We ended up ordering a number of things to share, including the burger, the green chili dip, duck poutine, and the grilled romaine salad. Everything was tasty and well prepared, but a special shout out to the homemade chips and green chili dip. The dip was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't stop eating the chips. It was all excellent paired with our beers, and they had a great (and super interesting) selection on those as well. Our server was a pro, and totally accommodated us waiting the few minutes for HH to start as well. It's a great place to go unwind, with a picture perfect creekside view no less, when you're out and about Georgetown.

I ordered the Korean Zoodle Bowl with a tofu add-on. It was a bit sweet, but the mild spice helped to counteract this. The large variety of vegetables in it satisfied my closet vegan. The tofu had a very pleasing crispyness when it first arrived. I told the SO, "Quick, try the tofu!", when she got her bowl. The SO ordered the Summit Stir Fry with a tofu add-on. She enjoyed it, but thought it was a little on the sweet side. I thought it was a lot on sweet side. I made my bowl not seem so sweet after all, which I took as a plus. Overall the food taste and quality was good and the service was friendly. I will base my rating on that. I do have one comment not having to do with the food or service. Stop reading here if you don't care. Pure Kitchen has a 4% "Competitive Wage Compensation" charge. I was surprised to see this charge on the bill and only later saw that it was in the fine print on the menu, with an "opt out" option (what brave soul is going to "opt out" and risk spittle in their food). Maybe it's my fault for not looking at the fine print on menu, but it's a food menu, not a used car contract. Just my personal opinion, but I believe if a restaurant wants to have "fair wages" for their employees, it is their responsibility, not mine. Raise food prices, lower profit margin, whatever, but please don't add another tax. It just doesn't seem right. I have never once complained about high food prices in any of my reviews because it is my choice to go out to eat. I could eat at home if I want to keep within my monthly budget. I have avoided going to other restaurants based solely on this type of "fair wages" charge and will likely not come here again for the same reason (no matter how badly I want to try their Lamb Burger). I am really VERY SORRY for getting on my soapbox. I don't typically rant, but there are certain things that I believe should be addressed. I'm probably not the only person who feels this way.

Nice space with gorgeous mountain views. Cons: Service that made it seem like an imposition for us to be there, from initial comments by the hostess to the server and bus staff rushing dishes out from under us as our whole party was finishing. I wanted to love it, but for these prices, I'd like more welcoming service. Customers aren't impositions. Not planning to come back. Also, the Yelp listing notes a "no tipping policy." Not the case. When my credit card was processed, the card reader defaulted to a (changeable) 26% tip.

I probably would not order the lamb again although the lamb sausage part of the dish was amazing, I think other items on the menu might have been a better choice. I've had another nice restaurants - they made it special for us without the peanut brittle and I bet it is even better with the brittle. I have been here many times over the years but my recent visit was by far the best! We started off with the whipped feta appetizer, which was very big and definitely shareable. The feta was so smooth and creamy and paired well with the cracker and honey. Next I had the filet mignon. This was out of this world. Filet was so tender and delicious. It would have been great on its own but the sauce was delicious along with all the accompaniments! It was a very thoughtful meal. Others in my party had the halibut and lamb and both were amazing! We did not have dessert this time but I have had the sticky toffee pudding and it's amazing!!! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because one of the halibuts came out a little cold. This place is expensive, so be prepared but honestly it's so good o can't even get mad at the price!
