I went there Sat night August 20th. A buddy with me had maybe a little too much to drink before arriving. I had 2 beers in the afternoon and a couple glasses of wine with dinner. We each ordered a beer and my friend was quickly asked to leave. They say their was a complaint from a lady. He had talked to one girl and bought her a drink at the bar as we got ours. He was told not to come back (that night) so I took him over to the Turtle club and went back to Cabo to meet friends. At the downstairs entrance I was told that I was not welcome. I don't look anything like my buddy but just turned to go back to the parking lot. Two off duty cops came around the corner and cuffed me. Said I had been warned not to come back. The charge was "public intoxication" even though I was begging for a blood draw, breathalizer or field sobriety test. In other words, I knew I was sober. I was detained for 30 minutes waiting on a squad car to take me to jail. It must have been a busing night, they finally let me go. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

We stopped in for a bite to eat and a cold drink while in town for an event. Sat on the deck overlooking Clear Lake. Great View btw. We were promptly greeted and drink order taken. Three strikes and you're out. We gave Cabo Seabrook three tries over the past two months. Let me just say this place is very poorly managed plain and simple. With its waterfront location and dock / deck side areas it has so much daytime potential. However during the day the waitstaff is inadequent. Some of that staff is rude and unless you like cold food you might as well forget it and plan on 1 to 2 hours to get what you ordered. As for the bar they have plenty of staff there and you can get served if you're sitting at its very limited seating, but good luck at the rest of the property. Also the indoor portions of this place have an underlying musty smell of old beer and vomit. A little regular bleaching with Clorox could go a long way to improve the smell after closing. As such I would recommend to only drinking bottled beer as their mixed drinks are just nasty. Even the ice had a funny taste, which causes health concern with cleanliness of the ice machines and the bar mixing wands for carbonated mixers and juices. Summary...this place was so bad we almost bailed out on our waitress to go eat and drink at Sam's Boat. However she finally brought our cold disgusting orders and bad drinks since she was supporting a table crowd on the fourth with little help from the bar staff I hold the management fully responsible. As such don't waste your time, your money and especially your patience until this place gets new management and a health inspection. 1 star is too good of a rating for Cabo's in Seabrook. read more

Great location. Super spacious deck. We were there Saturday afternoon and it was lovely. The music was Kojak Jones - the manager's brother. I would say he and his guitar player rivaled Chris Stapleton!! Yes for real! We will follow them for sure. Trekking upstairs to the bathroom totally sucked however. We'll be back. Now that there's cover on the upstairs deck - hoping the music moves closer to the loo. We didn't eat but the nachos and tacos looked really pretty and mouth watering. read more

It's a nice place to show your out-of-town friends when they are in the area. This is essentially the nightlife for those living around the Clear Lake, Seabrook, or Kemah area. The weekends get crazy crowed. But i do like the chill view overlooking the water. The lower floor is where the dance scene happens. Though it is a nice place to mingle with your friends it has that awkward wannabe club vibe. The only reason i go back is because of their friendly and professional customer service; from the bouncers to the waiters. read more

I've been to Cabo countless times. They've expanded their menu recently and the food quality has gone way up. They've always got the best drink specials in the area and have had consistently good live music for months now. Good local stop year round. read more

I normally rave about the wing special on Monday nights ...and how big the wings are. Well tonight I either got here too early or too late, but the wings were tiny. Hopefully they did not cut the wing portion in half to pay for their nice new patio roof. Cabo, please bring back REAL wings, not these things aspiring to be wings when they grow up! We go to Cabo a few times a month. It's a great place to hang out on the water and watch the boats and boaters. They have great drink specials and different food specials nightly, Taco Tuesdays - $2 tacos, $5 Cabo burgers on Wednesdays, $9.99 ribeyes, filets, or fish with sides on Thursday, etc. It's clean and the staff are mostly friendly. Cooks are great...we have never had a complaint about the food or drinks. I've read the reviews here from the younger crowd and think they are pretty much to be dismissed. If they are looking for a dance club/pick up bar, they are in the wrong place. Cabo serves a diverse group of people who mostly live or work in the area, with the crowd getting younger as the night gets later. Talking smack about people who are older than you just shows your immaturity and that you're not old enough to hang out in mixed company. Stick to the trendy clubs downtown... read more

Apparently, there was a big change in the kitchen years back. The food here used to be terrible! Ever since something changed the food has been spot on. Pros: Cabo has a great incredible laid back water front view. What an awesome place with great potentional. Very chill, not to crowded , quiet , romantic even for a date . Perfect for a couples night out on cool breezy evening. Best after sun goes down awesome sky view. First time there experience and service was pretty good. Pretty decent not bad , around 6 in the evening Chili con queso with beef and avacado pretty damn good! Chicken wings nice and crispy but not to much heat . Cons Doesn't have a drink menu No signature cocktails No draft menu to look at. Waitress can't even remember what they have . Last two visits service was non existent outside in the deck. You walk inside and waitresses are just standing around on there phone . I had to order my food and drinks st the bar and carry it all back by myself to the outside deck. Couldn't even really enjoy my girls company the whole because I'm playing waiter for both of us. Horrible service horrible experience we left after the first drink. Wasn't even that busy no excuse seriously. Management needs to fix this. Went to sams boat right after! Celebrated 4th of July eve here with my family! Their blackened mahi tacos were amazing. Others had the Philly cheesesteak, fajita tacos and fried chicken tacos, thumbs up all around. I am new to the area and happened to step into this place last week. Sat at the bar on what seemed to be a busy night. The bartender was Krystal and she was awesome. I had a long day and had no idea what I wanted to eat or drink. She help me narrow down everything on the menu to get exactly what I wanted. Her energy was very refreshing after a long day. Can't wait to come back and visit her and get some more of those damn chicken tacos. Don't know know if you can see this Krystal but thanks for everything. I've got to give this place 5 stars because they found my phone and tried TIRELESSLY to get it back to me until I had it in my hands! I went there one night to meet a friend for her birthday and has 2 or 3 drinks, didn't stay long. Came home went to bed and the next nothing couldn't find my brand new S5! I knew I had to have lost it there but couldn't think of a time I pulled it out and I'm ALWAYS aware of where my phone is since it's my business lifeline! By the afternoon my daughter had gotten a text saying it was at Cabo's waiting for me. I go to get it and they even had it fully charged hoping the owner would call it so they could return it! Tables on the deck with a stunning view of Clear Lake! While the menu was not too extensive, it had a variety of appetizers, tacos and burgers. The pico de gallo was SO fresh and the queso was tastey too. I'd also suggest the bloody mary here--very unique and good. read more
