This is our third visit during our two week stay in Vegas. The food has been great- fish tacos, classic burger & fries, shrimp tacos and nachos! The service has been spot on and all the servers have been very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is decorated as you would expect with colorful chairs and decor. Breakfast at Cabo Wabo landed at a respectable 3 stars. The Veggie & Cheese Omelette had potential, but it was definitely missing seasoning and salt to make those flavors pop. The potatoes were enjoyable, but the real MVP of the meal? Without question, the pancakes. Fluffy, satisfying, and easily the highlight of the meal. Beyond that, though, there wasn't much that had me thinking, "I need to come back here." And with the ridiculous number of options up and down the Strip, that's a tough sell. The saving grace was the service--quick, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. I came here for brunch with my husband on 8/1/26 and let our server know about my gluten, dairy, and corn allergies. The server quickly looped in the manager. And she and the chef were incredibly accommodating and took the time to explain what was safe and what I needed to avoid. I ended up getting the chilaquiles with carne asada since the carnitas are not gluten-free. They also had no problem with me bringing my own chips. I carry Siete chips with me when we plan to eat Mexican food, so I was still able to enjoy the dish without worrying about the chips. The chilaquiles were delicious, the service was great, and I really appreciated how seriously they took my allergies. It made brunch easy and enjoyable, and I would definitely come back. read more

Okay so I low key kind of love Cabo Wabo for brunch when I'm in Vegas. It absolutely gets the job done after a night out. Breakfast inside the casino can be rough. You either need to wait on a forever line for something fast like Starbucks or Eggslut, or sit down at one of the very expensive and trendy restaurants. Cabo Wabo basically solves these problems for me. They have a huge outdoor patio overlooking the strip, and it's really nice to sit outside and get fresh air after a long night. The space is large so wait times aren't long, and prices are really fair. Most importantly, food is actually really decent too! It's standard Mexican fare (so all the classics like tacos, burritos, dillas) plus some fun brunch items. Cocktails are fun too and they of course make a mean marg. I've come for brunch during both of my recent trips to Vegas, and this has always hit the spot. read more

Best thing about Cabo Wabo Cantina is its location. Located on the strip, next to planet Hollywood it's easy to get here by foot and by car. We dropped by before a show at Dolby Live in Park MGM -- and it was less than a 15 minute walk. I recommended this place to our group because it was an option on The Strip with plenty of marg options on the menu, but none of us ended up getting one (let's thank the very strong margs we had at the casino beforehand for that). Decided on the queso and chips with added chorizo because I wasn't super hungry. Honestly I recommend sharing it with someone because it was a massive serving of chips. I expected it to be ground chorizo, but it was not... still good though. Washed it down with a cider that never misses. We were seated inside but right in front of the door that leads to the patio - which is also where the DJ is stationed - so it was loud but not overwhelming enough to not hear who you're talking to. If you're walking the Las Vegas Strip, Cabo Wabo Cantina is one of those places that's hard not to notice. Its stripe side patio is definitely a big draw and one of the reasons we decided to stop in. We made the brave (or maybe questionable ) decision to sit outside in 105° weather. The view was great, but the Vegas heat is no joke! When we first walked up to the hostess stand, the three ladies greeted us. The greeting was polite, but it didn't feel very genuine. Maybe that's just the nature of working on the Strip where thousands of people pass through every day, but it left us with a slightly off first impression. We're both mezcal drinkers, so we ordered the Strawberry Mezcal Margarita pitcher. It was refreshing, but honestly tasted a little watered down. We were expecting more of that smoky mezcal flavor and a little more kick. Maybe ordering individual margaritas instead of the pitcher would have been the better choice. Our server, however, was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and checked on us throughout the meal, which definitely made the experience more enjoyable. As for the food, I grew up around authentic Mexican food, so my expectations may be a little higher than most. I found the menu to be more Americanized than traditional. The carne asada tacos were decent, and the chicken enchiladas were good, but neither really stood out. I was also surprised by how small the rice and bean portions were. Overall, Cabo Wabo is a fun place if you're looking for a lively atmosphere, good people-watching, and one of the better patio views on the Strip. The food and drinks didn't quite wow me this visit, but I'd be willing to come back and try some of their other margaritas. I've been here several times over the years, but coming back now that I'm older, I find myself paying much more attention to the overall experience and not just the location. read more

Came in to watch the FIFA WORLD CUP 3rd place match. Made reservations about an hour before with no problem. Ordered a Dose Equis beer and their CW Margarita with chips and triple dipper. Triple dipper came with salsa, guac and much cheese. The chips were nice a fresh and crunchy, dipping sauces were great as well. Service was good, server was friendly. We saw 4 ladies look and walk out (don't blame them) lucky we were able to let them know to remove the plate since a roach had walked on it. I have probably been to this Cabo Wabo in Las Vegas about a dozen of times over the past decade. I come back because food is delicious , service is pretty good and location is on point (plant Hollywood but you can sit outside and look out into the strip). This time around I had the mushroom and veggie burrito with a margarita verde. My husband had the crispy beef tacos with their signature regular margarita . Food amazing. Caesar salad /dressing pretty bland but enjoyable none the less . My drink was absolutely wonderful. I have a sensitive stomach and am quite allergic to most alcohols, so this tequila / lime cucumber and cilantro was perfect . I went back several times to get it Togo because I loved it and to be honest it was different each time. I really enjoyed the first (pictured ), it was clean and crispy. I went back again the next day and the bartender put a decent bit of sours in it which unfortunately ruined it for me . My husband ordered their signature /house margarita and it was quite sour. She regularly checked on me, but not in an annoying way. Danny, although not my server, also checked on me. Amazing customer service between the both of them! We stopped in to Cabo Wabo to rest our feet. We weren't hungry, but ordered something anyway mostly to be polite. Hubby wanted the shrimp tacos. Three on a plate, and a small side of pinto beans and rice. Perfect amount for a snack. I had one taco and H had two. Ok, so this is a chain and the only other time I've eaten at a CW was at the Las Vegas airport. That food was underwhelming, so I had low expectations for this location as well. I took the first bite of my taco. I chewed a bit, and to my surprise, this taco was really good! After swallowing, I expressed this opinion to H and he agreed. So, what went right? Pretty much everything. The taco is served on a flour tortilla, and the shrimp were perfectly grilled resulting in tender, juicy bites with just a small singe on the edges. Perfect! The tacos come with a house-made pico de gallo, cilantro, and a house-made crema (not sure what they put in it, but it's good and not too spicy). We mentioned to our server, Israel, how delighted we were with the food. He then told us everything but the tortilla is house-made. He also was clearly proud of his establishment, having worked there for 16 years--he opened the place. Solid place for a restaurant on the strip! Good food and service and a fun atmosphere. Delicious food! A lot of spicy options which isn't particularly my thing, but if it is yours, you will love this! My favorite was the fish tacos- absolutely delicious. The food here is pretty good ( about four star level) but the amazing service elevates my rating to five stars. It started when the nice girl at the outside kiosk walked me into the restaurant and seated me even though that wasn't her job. Then I was greeted by Deian, server extraordinaire. I've met very few waitstaff as great as he is. He was friendly, gave spot-on recommendations, and refilled my glass the moment it was empty. I ordered the cotija crusted chicken quesadilla and asked to hold the guac. When he saw that the kitchen hadn't followed instructions he brought out extra sour cream and a small plate in case I wanted to offload the guacamole. When I needed a to-go box, he brought plastic utensils (perfect for a hotel stay) and a bag to carry everything in. Basically, he just thought of everything I could possibly need before I had to ask. While the beans and rice were unremarkable, the chicken quesadilla was very good. I liked the cotija crust on the quesadilla - very unique. The grilled chicken tasted great as well.
