Chayo has an amazing atmosphere--the music, energy, and overall vibe made it such a fun place to be, especially with a group. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our experience. Several people in our group received cold food. My tacos came out cold and my rice was undercooked, so I sent them back. The tortillas also didn't taste or feel freshly made--to me, they had the texture of tortillas that had been reheated in a microwave. Our server also didn't seem very familiar with some of the sauces in the dishes when we had questions. Thankfully, my remade tacos were much better. The fish was tender, the toppings were fresh, and this time the tortillas were actually hot. The rice, however, was still undercooked. Service was also spotty, with our water glasses sitting empty for quite a while, although it seemed like they may have been understaffed. Overall, the ambiance is great, but I wouldn't recommend Chayo based on my experience. The music and atmosphere were fun, but they weren't enough to make up for the issues we had with the food and service.

Overall this place was easily accessible but the service was below average to average. They did not seem so busy for a Friday afternoon and we still waited quite a while for a waiter to come. It took longer for the waiter to come than it did for us to wait for our food from when we ordered it. They are quick to make the food I will give them that. They sat us at in the bar section and it was as crowded as opposed to the general eating area which almost looked dead. The food hit the spot plus with the 110 degree heat we needed a place to rehydrate and cool down so the AC was a big welcome. Overall a solid choice if your in the area but with so many other places too eat this place does not stand out enough to warrant another visit. The staff were all courteous and seemed to be stressed out themselves so maybe it was just an off day.

Nice and pleasant staff! Tried nachos with shrimp on the side. They were ok but nothing special for $25-30

Wednesday, 4-01-2026: So sorry this is overdue. We saw this restaurant when we saw the Mat Franco show and decided to try it out. There are 2 ways to enter/exit: within the Linq Hotel or via the Promenade. We entered through the Promenade and some of the outdoor seating looked full. We were taken way to the back more so on the Linq side & seated in a table for two. The table arrangement was awkward as the tables for two were close to each other that you could literally have a conversation easily with either table to your left & right. The decor was culturally influenced predicated upon Mexico's Day of the Dead. It was very interesting. Our waitress, Briana, was great & served up superb customer service. My husband had the Caesar Salad and I partook of a tasty Chicken Tortilla Soup. My soup was hot & delicious with the right amount of heat. Hubby enjoyed his salad. Their chips & salsa were complimentary and hit the spot. We enjoyed our food but table seating was strange. We'd go back if in Vegas again.

Since we were staying nearby (Flamingo) we walked by Chayo a few times and on our final full day we decided to try their brunch before walking over to the Venetian for the No Doubt Experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. Our waitress was also friendly and did a great job by periodically checking on us while still giving us our space. The food was pretty good. I went with their churro French toast and a side of eggs (gotta get that protein). It had great flavor already but that bourbon maple sauce put it over the top. We would come back. The ambiance is chill, but the music is pretty loud so if that isn't your thing, you may want to consider another spot.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was for me. Lively atmosphere with ambient music and friendly people. Showed up with no reservations on a Saturday night but had no issues getting a table. The host was amazing. Service was solid. The margaritas were excellent. Opted for chicken nachos and steak/chicken/shrimp fajitas. The presentation and flavors were a 10/10. Only complaint is the small portions. The nachos were also great. Not too soggy with juicy shredded chicken. The restaurant turned into a nightclub after midnight. We hung around and enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend Chayo.

We have casted this location before but never did a Yelp review. The seating on the open air area is the best for people watching!! Bita was our waitress and she did an excellent job through the entire meal. Drinks were served in plastic cups, not glass, which threw me for a loop and definitely heated up the beer I was drinking a little sooner than anticipated. My wife's margarita did the same. Dinner was served and we shared the steak and lobster combo. The lobster was cooked to perfection however, the steak was flavorless, dry and tough. That was a shame because it had so much potential. We only ate about 3 bites of the steak. When we told the waitress about it, they sent the manager. A free dessert was offered but after the disappointment of the steak we were hesitant to eat anymore. Sadly we have eatten here numerous times and never had an issue. Again, Bita was our waitress and she did an awesome job!!

Overall, Chayo Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar is a great option if you are craving Mexican food and are in this particular of the Las Vegas strip. The service was very good and the place had a pleasant ambiance. If you are in the area, give them a try.

Quite surprisingly my meal at Chayo Mexican Kitchen, my last night in Vegas, was probably my favorite meal during my visit. The location is nice, the service was good, and the food was excellent. I had the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, which came with Mexican rice and refried beans. The platter was really small but it actually filled me up. The lamb was tender, juicy, and flavorful. My wife had the Chicken enchiladas. She isn't a big eater so I was shocked to see her plate was completely empty! She also had the red sangria which she said was good as well.

We were walking through The LINQ in Las Vegas and ended up stopping here and I have to say, the location alone is a win. It's right in the middle of all the action, perfect for people-watching, especially if you grab a seat outside like we did. First impressions? Really solid. The atmosphere was great, upbeat but not overwhelming. They had music playing, but at a level where you could actually hold a conversation. It was earlier in the day, so it wasn't too crowded yet, and the staff set the tone right away - friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Our waitress was fantastic. Super helpful with recommendations for drinks and appetizers, which we really appreciated. The menu is extensive like, you've got options in every direction so having some guidance definitely helped. We started with their guac and chips, and I'll give credit where it's due: fresh, flavorful, and a strong start. The salsas? Also impressive. They had multiple options, and every single one delivered. That raised my expectations going into the main course. For my entrée, I went with the Quesa Birria... and unfortunately, this is where things fell off for me. The tortilla wasn't crispy like it should be, and overall it just lacked flavor. No richness, no depth it just didn't hit. Even the cheese, which usually carries a dish like this, didn't bring it together. On top of that, the rice and beans came out cold, which didn't help the experience. So overall great location, great vibes, excellent service, and a strong start with the apps and salsas... but my main dish missed the mark. I'd be open to giving it another shot and trying something different next time around.

This was a solid option, unlike what typically comes out after eating Mexican. While visiting the Linq Promenade (I think that's what it's called). The House Margarita was good, but a little small if you ask me. The Shrimp Tacos were great with grilled shrimp (waiter's suggestion) and I'm glad I got them as I wasn't in the mood for fried stuff. BTW, Ubering to here is such a F'ing nightmare. I don't think that's Chayo's problem, but there has to be a better way to get here besides the terrible spots nearby. I wouldn't come here specifically for Chayo, but I'd eat hear again if I was going to the Big Wheel or Jimble Kimble's Comedy Club.

We made reservations for brunch in a Sunday. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated quickly on the patio area where there were heaters placed. Our server came over and greeted us and got our drink orders. She returned after a while with our drinks and took our food orders. The food came out in a timely manner and everything was delicious! The patio had plenty of seating but we never saw the inside so I have no photos. Causal atmosphere outside. They checked in on us often to see if anything was needed and never make you feel rushed even though there were quite a few people waiting.

Good spot in the Linq promenade where we were sat quickly in a Thursday night. Food came fast, but drinks took a little bit of time. In the weekend they do more of a club vibe with Latin night which looked fun!

Hello, May I please have Mauricio the GM email contact?Thank you in advance

    mauricio.rodriguez@chayolv.com

What time does the restaurant switch to a club for dancing? What is the closing time after 12:00 reopening?

Hello Steve. The restaurant closes at 11pm and reopens at midnight for Latin Nights.

Do you carry lobster as a replacement for shrimp for my plate?

Hello. Chayo does not offer Lobster at this time.

I have a reservation at 9pm to eat can I stay for Latin night ? I saw it starts at 12am?

Hello! You will have to leave and return for Latin Night as we close at 11pm on Friday’s and Saturday’s before reopening at midnight for our Latin Night party.

Good to go for Sunday night fun?

Its good for any night. Sundays will be fun. I we t on Super Bowl Sunday ! But i have heard nothing but great things about it.

Is automatic gratuity added to larger parties and do they do separate checks?

    Yes and yes

Is there a cover fee after 11pm for latin nights?

    I think its free

Is the dance floor and mechanical bull open on Sunday nights?

Latin Nights are on Fridays and Saturdays with the occasional Sunday on holiday weekends such as Memorial Day Weekend.

Is brunch available everyday or weekends only?

Chayo’s Breakfast / Brunch Menu is served daily from 8AM - 1PM! Don’t forget about the Bottomless Mimosas!

    Do they do bottomless mimosas?

    Yes, we do.

Do you take reservations for parties of 10 on UFC nights?

We do take reservations on any day no matter the events.

Is the mechanical bull back open?

No I dint see it wen I was there

    Is the dance floor reopened?

We have started to reintroduce the Latin Nights back to our location and with that we do allow dancing.

Are you guys showing the Super Bowl?

We will be showing this on our TV's - due to the current mandates and guidelines we require reservations. Please make sure to check OpenTable for availability.

Read on a recent review that there is a "service fee" added to the checks. Is this true?

Yes, and we assumed it was the tip so we didn't leave anything above the bill. I later learned that it's a resort fee and not a tip. Firstly I felt bad about not leaving a tip after that, and secondly I was angry because I didn't understand why…

    Is this family oriented?

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar welcomes families with children of all ages to dine with us. Please note that Friday’s, Saturday’s and select Sunday’s after 11pm is 21+.

Hi what kind of music will be played Friday night and is there a cover fee? Also is there a dance floor? Dress code?

Since we are a restaurant we do not charge admission or a cover charge. We play a Latino mix of music.

What time do you stop serving food?

Our kitchen typically closes around 11pm during the week and around midnight on the weekend.

Do they still have a dj and dancing Friday nights?

Yes, every Friday and Saturday starting at 11pm. 21+ and admission is free.

I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict with arugula and roasted tomato salad, and I'd give it an 8/10. The Benedict was a little salty for my taste, but thankfully, it didn't overpower the other flavors. The seasoning and hollandaise sauce complemented the dish really well. My father ordered the exact same thing and absolutely loved it. My mother went with the Mexican Avocado Toast, which she rated a 7.8/10. She also found it slightly salty, and the dish was a little cheesier and oilier than she preferred. Since she isn't a big fan of cheese, that affected her overall rating. However, she still enjoyed it enough to finish her meal. My wife ordered the Chicken & Waffle Mac, which was definitely an interesting and creative take on the classic chicken and waffles. Having macaroni incorporated into the waffle made the dish unique. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and she gave it an 8/10. Thinking there wasn't any macaroni with her entrée, my wife also ordered a side of Cheesy Macaroni. She was pleasantly surprised by it and gave it a 9/10. It ended up being one of her favorite parts of the meal. Overall, Parlour Brunch and Late Night Burger Bar was a solid family dining experience with a comfortable atmosphere, creative dishes, and plenty of flavor.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

The menu here is massive with so many great breakfast and lunch options. They close at 4pm, but you can still order "dinner-ish" items; like burgers and burritos. We settled on machaca, which is eggs mixed with carne asada and peppers and my wife got the eggs Benedict. Both were delicious and my wife loved her bennies. I sampled the some, and her eggs were perfectly poached and that hollandaise sauce was so rich and creamy. Could have used a side of it for dipping! We also shared an order of the lemon ricotta pancakes. These were ok. The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy, but had very little lemon flavor. Kind of a bummer. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive the whole time we were there. If you're looking for a solid, delicious brunch spot in Downtown Las Vegas, put this on your list!

It's just down from the Fremont Street experience by perhaps one back. Carson St and Las Vegas Blvd. I've been here several times (I have a pretty detailed review on Google reviews from six months or so ago. As was the case in that review, I had the machaca, which again was totally delicious. The Mexican rice and refried beans were great too (they make their refried beans from scratch...not too salty - hooray!). Our waitress Emily was wonderful as well. Very attentive and great personality. I believe the manager stopped by a couple of times to check on us as well. My friend got the meat lover's skillet, and enjoyed it. His only negative comment was he thinks it should come with toast. The regular coffee was excellent as well. Honestly, while visiting Vegas (I'm from LA), I'd like to get breakfast here every morning.
