Enjoyed this Mexican inspired restaurant for brunch. The service was quick and efficient and the restaurants itself is beautiful. We ordered guacamole, the cauliflower tacos, breakfast tacos and huevos rancheros. The guacamole and huevos rancheros were the stand outs. The cauliflower tacos could have been seasoned just a little more. Overall I enjoyed the ambiance (though the music is a bit loud so just be aware) and would likely be back for appetizers and drinks!

Short and sweet version: Food and drinks are delicious, servers are friendly and attentive, and the vibe is really cool! This restaurant is inside Resorts World and I went here twice during my stay because I liked it so much. They have a great happy hour too!

My friend Mat and I decided to stop at the brand new resort world hotel on Vegas. Lately I've been craving a Spanish drink so we stopped at Viva. I got the Blanco sangria which also has apricot juice in it and my friend Matt got a Coke and grenadine. Sangria is late and refreshing and very tasty. The fruits on top are lemon, apple and grapefruit. They have about two bartenders working a 360° bar and the bar is a little bit packed but mostly with businessmen. The ambience of this bar is an indoor and outdoor vibe with lively Spanish music and very fun, cultural decor. My bartender this evening Marq. We spoke a little bit about the hotel and he is very charismatic and very nice. 10/10

We decided to try this place for dinner as it was in our hotel at resort world. I forgot our server's name but the nice girl was so kind and informative when we asked for recommendations from the menu. The other staff who helped us serve the food, water and checked in on us was also very kind. 10/10 for staff! Now onto the foood: The chips and salsa, it was so tasty. I give it 10/10. My favorites were the fish ceviche - I usually have shrimp but this was so much better. We got the Esquites appetizer and it paired well to share and went well with my Birria tacos. Definitely will be back!

I've been here a couple of times when visiting Vegas and it's always been a good experience. This time we ordered the shrimp cocktail, which was really good, and the ceviche. If you like a coconut milk style ceviche, you'll definitely enjoy it -- it was flavorful and really yummy. We also got the chips and guacamole, which were fresh with a nice lemony taste that made them stand out. We had a couple of Palomas as well, and they were refreshing and well made. Overall, everything was solid and the experience was enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend Viva if you're in the area and looking for a good Mexican spot with great flavors and drinks.

I am blown away how everything was so delicious here! Food Everything felt and tasted authentic. Surprisingly good for hotel restaurant quality now in Vegas. The appetizer that was included with their chicharron chips was fresh with their tasty hot sauce. -all dishes were muyyy RiCo! Service Very attentive staff to our waiter, water refills was great. Everyone was professional and friendly. Ambience Felt inviting and warm. Beautiful decor and comfortable seating areas. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic dishes and presentation.

This place is consistently solid -- I've been here a few times over the last couple of years, and it never disappoints. Today I went a little lighter since I was still full from my Thai lunch (see my previous review) and ordered the Caesar salad with added Wagyu beef. It was perfect. The Wagyu was tender and flavorful, and the salad was just what I needed. The side of chips and salsa rounded everything out and made the meal complete. Great food, great vibe -- always a reliable pick.

What was supposed to be a team dinner turned into a train wreck of an experience. Originally, we had reservations for 6:30 pm for 5 guests, but the team wanted to eat earlier, so we changed the reservation to 5 pm. The table for 5 at 5 pm was not comfortable. It was a two seat and booth with a chair added at the end. I don't know why we received this type of seating, as it was very cramped. More to come about that later. The guacamole was very good and had a little kick. I did not try the chip,s though. The white Sangria ordered by one of the dinner guests was not to her liking. Before I go any further. I picked VIVA due to it being inside Resorts World, and I believed that there was something on the menu for everyone, including several vegan options for myself. Boy, was I wrong VIVA does not accommodate off-menu changes or milder versions of any of its dishes. The 'Enchiladas De Pollo' featuring chicken, Requeson, Feta, Red Onion, Refried Lentils, and Arroz for $30.00 has a very spicy red sauce that cannot be altered in any way. The two diners attempted to change out beans for rice, and no veggies for the fajitas, and the server was doing her best to make as many allowed accommodations as possible. The diner who wanted the enchiladas gave up and didn't order anything. My vegan tamale was very good, but not worth a $18.00 price tag and then $5 for blue corn tortillas. With the table being cramped, the staff was constantly at our table to pull plates, collect silverware, wipe crumbs, etc. We couldn't have had a moment to even discuss anything. The manager did come by to speak with the diner, but there was nothing but an apology. 4 diners, 1 Alcohol drink - $300.00 The dinner experience will go down as one of the worst experiences that I have been a part of, and I will probably have my dinner reservation privileges removed.

We came for happy hour from 3-5p on a Saturday. Bar seating only, small but good menu of one cocktail plus beer and wine, and small plates including oysters. Good service, the steak taco was a bit salty but everything overall was great. Nice decor and lively Latin music playing.

Great place to dine if you're staying at resorts world. They don't offer chips but highly recommend ordering chips and guacamole as a starter. The guacamole was my favorite part of the meal. Their happy hour consists of drink specials and small plates - including nachos, tacos, and a great Spanish version of ahi tuna poke on a crisp tortilla. Highly recommend that. I tried the Caesar salad but the dressing wasn't what I was expecting. Still good (the chicken was cooked PERFECTLY). I'd recommend their enchiladas, fish entrees and other items that I've had and haven't disappointed. Their bartenders are great if you're just wanting to stop in and sit at the bar. Great vibes. Good music... it can be loud in some areas so you can ask for a quieter spot if you need that.

The short rib was unbelievably tender, moist with the beans.

We came for an event at a conference and had the best time. The waitress was amazing and it was a beautiful space. Loved the food! We had some delicious apps to share. The guacamole was so fresh and creamy. The taquitos were so crispy and amazing. I love short rib and have to get it any time I. See it on a menu. The short rib was unbelievably tender, moist with the beans. We also got the cookies and churros which were out of this world. It's a bit expensive for regular people but so worth it. Unbelievable!

    Is this place kid friendly?

Yes, Viva is located at Resorts World LV which is kid friendly. The property offers both options for family and adults-only.

How much are bottomless mimosas? I see on the menu 1 is $18.

Do they take walk-in at all? Or reservation only?

Walk ins were welcomed when I dined

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Even if a restaurant offers gluten free items, there is always the possibility of cross contamination. Your question would be best if you called the establishment and spoke directly to a manager.

What is the difference between dining room and lounge seating when you make a reservation?

Do they serve menudo at this place?

    No they do not

    Is this Restaurant Kid Friendly?

I'm sure they allow well behaved kids, but it is a more upscale Mexican style restaurant that I wouldn't take kids to.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

The dreamy pink liquid was to be poured over ice and sipped through a golden straw. The blend of ingredients were perfectly balanced and very tasty. The mint garnish brought a bit of sparkly to the blend. The menu describes like this: "THE NO. 5 10 oz / 34.95 What Do You Wear to Bed? Cognac - Diplomatico Dark Rum - Coconut Rum Elderflower - Pineapple - Lemon - Pear - Angostura" The cocktail was perfectly balanced and no one flavor took over the drink, instead the variety of the ingredients came together as a team to create a delightfully nuanced experience for the taste buds. The decor at Vanderpump was a complicated mix of Victorian ephemera and whimsical art and "antiques". It was a bit vintage bordello meets romance set in an antiques collective inspired bar. The colors were rich burgundy and black with loads of roses and crystal with velvet fabrics festooned with flowers. We gave a four star rating for two reasons, ones completely unrelated to staff, service or quality of cocktails. The cheese saturation in menu selections was a disappointment for us and other lactose challenged folks I'm sure. The second factor did affect the ambiance a lot. When we arrived the music was so fitting for the setting so much that it's hard to give perfect examples of songs played. It had perfectly supported the whole theme. It was a bit bluesy and maybe some soft pop or jazz tunes. It was appropriately background, still fun, but not distracting to the whole experience. For the majority of the remainder our visit, the mood music more resembled a rave than a Parisian timeless multi sensory experience. We found this disappointing as well. In spite of this, Jennifer's care for us was a highlight of the experience. She was even kind enough to suggest she take a photo of us. She even chose a background for us. We definitely made a special memory. Thanks Jennifer.

Checked out of the hotel and wanted to get a drink at the bar to kill some time before my flight…read more The bar has plenty of seating at the bar and around the area. I opted for a comfier lounge chair next to the bar and checked out the menu on the table. When I was ready to order, I went up to the bar. Which, if you've been to bars in general, they happily take your order and you wait and bring the drinks back to your seat. Well not at Vesper. Went up ready to order and the bartender asked where we were seated and said a waitress would come by and that we couldn't order with him. We sat, we waited 15-20 mins and no one came around. We waited long enough and decided it wasn't worth our money. If trying to get an order in was this difficult, can't imagine what the rest of the service is like.

I arrived to the vesper bar and found a nice couch next to the bar…read more The atmosphere is nice and the bar looks very appealing. I sat for around 15 minutes waiting for service and then walked up to the bar instead to order drinks. He rejected my offer and said the waitress would take my order and to return back to my seat. The waitress has not come around. she has been standing in the corner looking at nothing for the past 20 minutes.
