Very convenient location and they do have Valet parking as well. Named after the Cache river where the owner and head chef are from. The seating space is large and warm with large windows offering a Panoramic view. We sat upstairs and were treated to high quality live Jazz which is not too loud. I tried the Hummjs And heart fired pita with Crudité and Pappardelle (Mornay * Sweet Peas * Blackened Chicken) I also tried their 21 Day dry aged New York strip with green peppercorn sauce (for $55!, with Parmesan Pommes Frites * Truffle Aioli). For dessert I tried the bread pudding which is RICH!! Soft, sweet perfection, perfect for cold winter dinners. Couldn't finish it because it is a lot of sweetness and maybe making it a little less sweet would help bring out the other aromas and tastes a bit more. This is a great place for special occasions, not for dinner every week :/ mainly for the price. Overall the price is the only limiting factor but the food and service is high quality. Go here if you have special guests or if you are arranging work related dinners (lots of private room seating) or if you're going out for a cordial occasion. read more

Nice venue. Attended a Saturday luncheon here, so only sampled a set menu, some of which was disappointing. Might not be fair to review the place without having had other meals here, but I will review it as I experienced it. Had some bacon wrapped stuffed date appetizers, some of the best I've had anywhere, followed by a small Caesar salad and a chicken salad sandwich on what was listed as a croissant but which was hard enough to break a tooth! I overheard numerous attendees voice the same sentiment, so mine wasn't a one off. But the meal was saved by a crème brûlée which was as good as any I've had, even in France! The servers we had were excellent, in spite of the fact that they were also doing another luncheon in the next room at the same time. Ordering from their regular menu as an individual diner might yield totally different results, so I wouldn't hesitate to try them if I'm back in town in the future. read more

I sat at the bar on a slow night, in town for business. I worked in restaurants for 10 years and I now dine all across the country. The service does not quite match the menu prices. I will agree with many reviewers on this point. The bar tender was pretty good and attentive, but he definitely wasn't on the top of his game. The Étoufee was awesome and I would highly recommend the place for no other reason than this dish. At $27 it was not a cheap dish, however it was absolutely perfectly executed. Idk if this was due to it being a slow night, but if that's how its served every time then its worth every penny. You simply can't get a dish like this many places especially for the price. I was unaware of this water bucket incident. As an out of towner, I cannot verify it. If its true, that's a deplorable act. It does seem to me there was an attitude among the staff that wasn't overly friendly and was too relaxed and unprofessional. Employees snacking and hanging around the bar etc is just unprofessional and comes from lax top down management. That said, I don't think it was horrible service, just not at the level one would expect for the price and the image this place wants to exude. read more

My experience at Cache was incredible! About five minutes after being proposed to my closest friends, my fiancé, and I were sitting at the Chef's Table. There are many things that I appreciated about my experience at Cache such as the atmosphere, the friendly service, and the food. We experienced Valentines at Cache, so we were also able to order from a fixed specialty menu for about $75 a person. Here is what I ordered: Salad: Classic Caesar Appetizer: Chili Encrusted Hanger Steak Entree: Filet Oscar Dessert: Cheese Cake. I have been craving the Caesar Salad ever since. The appetizer that I ordered was unique and a healthy portion. My fiance and I like to celebrate every big event with steak. It was appropriate that we both ordered the Filet Oscar. Although I was full by the time I had eaten half of my entree, I finished the entire steak because it was just fantastic. I am picky about Cheesecake because it is one of my favorite things to eat. I thought it was so good. It didn't taste incredible sugary. It was well made and presented beautifully as well. I also tried the Creme Brule - It was hands down the best I have ever tasted. If you are looking for a place to meet with a friend, I recommend visiting the lounge upstairs. There is a fire pit on the patio overlooking the heart of downtown little rock. My closest friend and I plan to visit again shortly to order Creme Brule and drinks. Also, Cache is a place that I would recommend as a meeting spot for business occasions. I appreciated that while they were busy, it was not loud or distracting. We waited for a short while to receive our food, but they were clearly attentive to us. After the salad, the appetizer, entree, and dessert followed at a steady pace. I understand that some are critical, but I do not agree. I am excited to see Cache flourish because of the New York style ambiance and the incredible food. I hope that you at least give this great new restaurant a chance. Had a great time at Cache. Came in unexpectedly and got a great seat. They have an open kitchen and big glass doors that can slide open. Weather was perfect so the doors were open. Had the bok choy salad. Lots of complex flavors! Had the crab pasta and the lamb too. The lamb was undercooked so the waitress took it back. Was still not good, too tough. Otherwise I would give Cache a higher rating. My pasta was good but I thought it would have lumps of crab and instead it was all mixed in. The waitress Jo Jo was excellent. I dined with friends at Cache recently before a concert at Verizon. It was strange that I couldn't get a reservation at any other restaurant on the occasion that night, but Cache seemed pretty open. The way I felt when I left there helped me understand. It's overpriced to the point where I felt a little embarrassed having booked this reservation for my friends and I without researching the menu first. They have a $115 steak on the menu, while there are actual homeless people outside warming their hands on the fire pit feature on the patio of the restaurant. I also think it's pretentious they have the alcohol menu on iPads. When out at a nice restaurant with friends, I want a screen-free connection. read more

We had excellent meals. My co-worker and I came here for our last of a three day business trip. We saw a lot of people going in so we went in and talked to the hostess. This the first hostess looking like she is enjoying what she is doing. So we looked at the menu and liked what we saw. The next day we returned. The Paella has 6-7 good size shrimps, two scallops, two clams, sausage and a flavor bite just enough to feel a heat tingle. The shrimp has it's own seasoning taste before mixed in with the saffron rice and other ingredients. The portion is well ample for the price. It did not disappoint. My co-worker had the house steak. When he cut that steak, it was like a tear running down my cheek. It was a perfectly cooked medium steak about two inches thick. We both smiled and he ate it. He said "finally, some where that know how to cook a steak". And it wasn't underseasoned. I did spy at the grilled to see another house steak with flames just touching, kissing, and hopping all over the steak before a black pan received a stream of oil, I guess, and the steak went in it then both in to the oven. As we ate, I watched a plate of lamp chops get plated and all I could do is imagine how it taste, I was full and happy. The waiter visits were way too long apart but he knew all of the meals and answered all of our questions. Paella and House Steak was an execellent choice and I'm glad we returned. I'd describe this place as fine. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was spectacular. The staff was very kind, but not well trained. My boyfriend ordered an old fashioned and he was told they "out the ingredients" for one. Same thing for a sazerac, and then the server just chose a manhattan for him. We opted to get four starters and cocktails. Beets & strawberry salad- taste good but had these fried chevre balls that taste like they came from a freezer Beef tips- my boyfriend seemed to like these a lot. Baked Camembert- a good presentation, but small portion. It could have been warmer to make it more ooey gooey. Farfelle- my favorite dish. Pasta was served el dente. The food was great as it always is. But I had two concerns in the era of COVID-19. One was that I got my sleeve dirty from the table as soon as we sat down, which makes me wonder how well they clean between patrons. The second was that they do absolutely nothing to keep any kind of distance between guests. They literally had people sitting in booths back to back, which gives you about a foot of space from the other guests. That was very annoying, especially because we have been to restaurants in the area that did a fantastic job distancing guests. So, if you don't care about COVID-19, the place is for you. But if you prefer to keep your distance, I would definitely not recommend this place. read more

Ate at Cache for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. It was recommended by a friend and I enjoyed everything from my perfectly seasoned blue rare steak to a perfect Cabernet. The atmosphere/decor is Miami Modern- uncluttered and lots of windows. We were served by Tyree who is also a manger. He was the perfect combination of attentive and unobtrusive. This restaurant was mentioned to us yet not recommended. I don't think we will ever return, Our party consisted of 6 people and we all ordered a different meal. We had a problem with each meal, five orders arrived later than expected together, they had forgotten about 1 meal, therefore, we had to wait until it was brought out, only to discover it was over cooked. One couple ordered their meat well done, the other ordered medium with different veggies, everything was reversed. The Salmon and Pork Chop ordered was terribly overcooked. Our waitress was extremely busy assisting others and not attentive to our needs for water, rolls and drink refills. We have had much better. read more

I was so nervous after reading reviews about trying this "overpriced" and "mediocre food" restaurant, but I was here on business so I tried it. Let me tell you...great food and drinks! For starters, the bread was so good. Topped with a honey the bread was warm and delictable. We had an appetizer that was not on the menu, but our waiter told us about. It was a jalapeno ahi tuna on a wonton with a special sauce drizzled over it. Omg. I would have been satisfied with just that. For the main course I went with the gnocchi. It had chunks of crab and bacon with a very mild sauce. The portion was smaller, but very filling. To top my meal off I had the special old fashioned with 4 roses. Soooo smooth and satisfying. I thankfully did not have an unpleasant experience. The reason for the 4 stars is it was a little loud for a Tuesday evening, but our waiter was great and provided excellent service. I'm a big fan of this establishment, from the food to the owners and the head chef, who is well accredited with international culinary experience. They treated me wonderfully on my birthday. I brought my family for their first time (mom, dad, brother) and the four of us went through Tuna Tataki Nachos (amazing), Calamari (great, not too chewy), Rack of Lamb, Salmon, Beef Short Rib, and the Pork Chop. We complimented dinner with two bottles of wine, and a chocolate box for dessert. As you'd imagine after a meal like that, everybody was pleased! I'll be back! read more

I had an absolute awful time at this restaurant. We sat dow at 6:30 and at 9:30pm we still had no food. The waitress was not helpful at all she kept disappearing. We had to request bread and the waitress told us they only made a few baskets of bread and that we "may not" get any. But every other table had bread but us. By 9:30 we had had it and left. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of service and disrespect of our time..... My husband and I will not be returning. I feel more comfortable across the street at Sonny Williams. read more

I hope to be able to update this soon, but this review is only based on a few drinks and an appetizer we had last night. We were downtown and decided to just hit a few places for drinks...we didn't start here, but now I wish we had because we most likely would've stayed longer for more drinks and more food. We each had a cocktail; myself a Roberita (sort of a jalapeno infused margarita) and my boyfriend had a martini. Both were excellent and the attention we received from Hector, the bartender, was perfect. We also ordered the fried calamari, which came out absolutely perfect and was served with some sort of thin, mango sauce dip. Seriously excellent. The atmosphere was beautiful and elegant. We sat in the lounge area of the bar and watched a bit of the ballgame. They had the windows opened to let the night air in, so we could hear the Saturday night downtown noises of Little Rock. There was a fire in the pit on the patio which just made this a wonderful little spot to hang out downtown. Would definitely like to come back for dinner again, and will probably have drinks again as well. read more

I visited Cache recently when I was in Little Rock for business. I LOVE the atmosphere... Little Rock has a wonderful downtown area; it's quaint, cozy, and picturesque. As such, I always look for places that have a pleasant outdoor area where I can enjoy my meal amidst the pleasant atmosphere of downtown. Cache delivered... they put my party on the street corner balcony, where we had nice fall temperatures and views of the waterway, streetcar line, and the old museums across the street. On to the food... it was ok. My favorite item was the appetizer... a FANTASTIC BBQ shrimp plate with plenty of bread to soak up the delicious, Worcestershire and rosemary infused dipping sauce. The filet, however, left some things to be desired... for $45, I expected perfection and instead got merely "satisfying." I ordered medium rare, and received well done. So, off the bat, the steak was dry and overcooked for my taste. If I had more time, I would have had it recooked. The accompanying yukon potatoes, also, were satisfying, but nothing special... I remember having to add salt and pepper hoping to spice them up a bit with some flavor. We ordered a side of roasted brussel sprouts along with the meal... they were good, roasted perfectly. Lastly, we munched on a really fantastic bread pudding. It had a light caramel sauce and an overall wonderful taste. The appetizer and dessert were my favorite parts of the meal. BOTTOM LINE: Really, I loved everything except for my steak... and at $45 for the cut of meat, it was enough to drop a couple of starts out of my review. read more

I've never been a fan of overpriced food, especially combined with poor service. Last night, they had a Ted Cruz event there and there were three protesters in front on a public street. The owner of this restaurant threw a bucket of water on them and then laughed about it. Later, he issued a statement that the protesters were blocking the entrance (a lie) and that he was sorry (probably also a lie). There are plenty of places in Little Rock where one can enjoy mediocre food at exhorbitant prices. From this point forward, I'll be trading at those not run by people who think it's funny to assault people excercising their rights on a public street. read more

Let me first start off my saying, this establishment practices negligence and bad attitudes. I came here for a nice Thursday night dinner with my boyfriend; but what I got, was more than I bargained for....FOOD POISONING! Full on, undeniable food poisoning. My boyfriend and I both ordered he same thing ( mussels to start, and the filet with a demi truffle sauce), and he too fell ill. Now, as a courtesy, because this IS such an important matter, we made sure to contact the restaurant as soon as they opened the next day; not to ask for anything in return, only to make aware the situation. When given this sort of information, the appropriate protocol should be to first apologize and then to notify the kitchen asap, as there may be unsafe preparation methods occurring etc. Instead, the girl got defensive and started arguing that, "in her medical experience, you cant get food poisoning within an hour. HA!! Wow. Well, I for one, am very glad that none of their 'glorified hostesses' are actually doctors; because we'd all be in a lot of trouble. And that is only ONE of the 250 different types of food poisoning. This issue was eventually passed on to the head chef who was even more inadvertent and rude than the hostess. It's a real shame that a place like this, with such nice decor, can be such a mendacity. We will most certainly NEVER be back, nor will our clients, customers, friends etc. read more

The river market has always needed a change in the culinary end of things. There are the usual fried food places and bar grub but that gets old. Cache has never disappointed me, when it comes to food, or my international guests that I bring monthly. The service, wait staff only, is a bit lacking but that can be corrected with a week of training. I will say this. The bartenders seem to be more knowledgable than most and pour an incredible drink. Belly up to the bar order some delicious pizzas and apps and call it a night. read more

Service is terribly slow. Food is mediocre for the most part (when you actually receive it--I didn't get my entree when everyone else in my party of 10 had been served). Management did a good job apologizing and trying to make it whole, but I wasn't about to sit around for another 30 minutes for them to bring me a new dish. The meal we had tonight was spot on. The prices were exactly as we'd expect for the food we ate. We both had salads as starters, they were great. They were salads. For main courses I had the pork chop and she had the filet. My pork chop was cooked properly and tasted like pig. I loved it. Next time I hope they opt for thicker chops though. My risotto was amazing. I could have just eaten that. Her steak was very nice. Not the greatest piece of beef but I think her new penchant for medium well has something to do with that. The deserts were great. My negatives are: 1. I think they gouge a bit on drinks. We both had drinks we order at other places and they were twice the price. I don't think we should get double gouged on Bacardi because you have a pretty restaurant. 2. The service could be ramped up. Although we liked our server she didn't have the training she should have. If I'm eating fine dining I don't want a Chili's server. The owners would do well to properly train their wait staff. We'll be back to Cache but it won't be because we are in love with it. It will be because this is one of the better restaurants Little Rock has to offer. read more
