On November 20, 2024, I had exhaust work done at Cachilla Muffler Custom Exhaust. It's now a year later and I'm still happy with the service that they provided. Prior to my visit, I had dual Flowmaster FlowFX on my 1989 GMC Vandura. I contacted Wilmer to discuss options for my classic van. I was looking for a quieter sound but not too quiet. I decided on the Flowmaster 70 series. The exhaust tips were hanging lower than I preferred so I asked Wilmer to fix those also. Wilmer explained the details of the work and price. I got an sr performance x pipe installed on my new mustang the other day and it looks and sounds amazing. For the price to get it welded, the beads laid were 9.5/10. They were honest with me and told me that if I were to get it clamped instead of welded, I'd have exhaust leaks. It would've been easier for them to just cut and clamp but they do honest work and pushed for the welding at the same price. High quality work and would definitely recommend. No alignment issues, no exhaust leaks, and they did it in like 15 minutes. read more

I just discovered this shop (opened up about a year ago) and was so impressed that I had to start him off with a(n extremely well-deserved) great review. Wilmer at Cachilla Muffler & Custom Exhaust was quick, competent, and cost effective (three things that don't often come hand in hand). He expeditiously assessed and corrected damage on a custom turbo-back performance exhaust that other shops in the area were afraid to touch. Scheduling was a breeze, cost was minimal, and the results were perfect. While in his shop, I saw everything from late-model Honda, Toyota, & Nissan models (for basic repairs, cat replacements, and/or performance enhancements) to brand new, high end BMW & Audi vehicles. All owners left with smiles on their faces, a few of us chuckling (with glee) over his speed, work ethic, and candor. Another shop told me that ordering a $2k+ replacement exhaust was a better solution than attempting repair (without even trying to take a detailed look at the cause). Wilmer had the car up on a lift and started attempting simple fixes before even suggesting payment was necessary. I won't give away how great his final price was, but it was less than 10% of the cost of replacement. Don't expect too many frills while waiting (although there is an air-conditioned waiting room), but you will find that the work and convenience are top notch, and--besides--with the way Wilmer works, you won't be waiting long (there was an Audi in there ahead of me looking for a custom muffler bypass and I swear Wilmer finished for him in under 15 minutes). Brought my truck in to patch a hole. They took a look and gave me a quote. Once they started the repair, they found it was in much worse shape. They were up front and honest, showing me where all the other holes were while it was in the lift. Gave me several options as to what should be fixed now and what I could wait on. I decided not to keep dealing with it and had them replace about 80% of the exhaust system. It was a good price, they could do it that day, so was happy just to get it all done at once. I was so happy, in fact, I dropped my wife's SUV off when I picked up my truck. They weren't sure they'd get to it that day, but were willing to try. They called (as promised) later in the day to let me know it would be the next day. Honestly, nowadays, making a simple phone call as promised is huge in my book. The SUV was ready the next day, at the time promised (even calling again when done to let me know, rather than letting me assume like most shops). Went by the shop and it was all fixed, as promised. It was actually cheaper than quoted. Who does that these days!? Overall A+ experience and I highly recommend this shop for exhaust work. read more

These guys were able to help me solve a really big mistake. I ended up ordering a midpipe that was only meant for a RWD model after the company I purchased it from gave me wrong information and I ended it up ordering the wrong part. Cachilla gave me the option to cut it and welded to make it fit properly with a quick turnaround. They are honest and awesome couple of guys! Had some custom work done on my A6, Wilmer offered great work at a fair price. Was in and out in under 2 hours. Had a slight exhaust vibration issue as soon as I left but I called Wilmer and he had me back the next day to adjust the exhaust and put in the stock exhaust hanger to alleviate the vibration.
