The hubby and I had just had a terrible experience at a local business down the street, and were so looking forward to some good food and drinkable coffee. Then our server Christopher came up to our table like a fresh breeze on a hot day. He turned our frowns upside down!!! It was so hard to decide what to get to eat, so we ordered a coffee for the hubby. He is a coffee snob (he would not be offended by that!) and he took his first sip and said "this coffee is good". Then he took another sip and said, "this coffee is REALLY good, you have to get one!" I was so excited! I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk, which is not my favorite but the only alternative to cow. There was so much oat milk I couldn't really taste the espresso, so I ordered an extra shot to add to it. The shot looked so beautiful when it arrived that I had to take a sip. It was SUBLIME!!! I ordered the Canyon Breakfast bowl with sausage patty, eggs over easy, extra crispy hash browns, green chili and a side of jalapeño purée. Yum, yum, yum!!!! Everything was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. It can't as a beautiful presentation I mixed everything up so every bite had a bit of everything. It was a huge portion! The hubby got the Western-ish omelette and a side of jacks (their sweet cream pancakes). He loved the omelette, the pancakes were a bit too sweet for his taste but so light fluffy and still delicious. You can tell everyone who works there loves it, and it shows in the friendly attentive service and the care and love that goes into their food. While only serving breakfast and lunch daily, this place was a treat to eat at. My kids wanted to try it out since they had very good reviews. So here's what we thought of the place. The parking can be a little bit tricky since they do have a lot of people that eat at there establishment. The wait was a little long for 4 people but wasn't too bad of a wait since they do get busy. The prices were more than your average cost for breakfast which is what we ate but you can order anything on the menu all day. The food was surprisingly very good and the portions was very generous. Way better than eating at a Dennys or IHOP in my opinion. The service was quick and helpful. They got one of our orders slightly wrong but our server was quick to correct the error. The dining area had very good lighting and an easy to read menu. I would definitely recommend the is place if your looking for a hearty meal. read more

My husband had the breakfast platter with sausage. He said the hash browns were the best he ever had, cooked perfectly. He said the sausage was a little greasy but its sausage. This was purely the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I ordered the AM Burrito and it was melt in your mouth. I recommend getting it with the link sausage and go ahead and add avocado. I'm sure other meats might have been as good but I don't know. We also ordered Huevos Rancheros and heard no complaints from my girlfriend. Ambiance is inviting and homely. Service was great. Meh. Got the huevos rancheros and it was poor. Tortilla was soft and not cooked, hash browns were undercooked, little flavor in the salsa, the avocado was hard and had to use a knife to cut into it. My wife got an omelette and she was happier with hers. They have a gluten free bread she really liked. The coffee tasted like foldgers. At least it was made strong. Service was pretty solid. My husband and I stopped in for brunch, never having been to Moab. The restaurant was pretty cleared out but we still waited over 30 minutes before our food was served. The server visited our table no more than 3 times over the course of the hour we were in the restaurant and our drinks were never filled. Appreciatively, my patty melt was comped, considering there was mold on the rye bread. Up until I noticed it, it was delicious! ( Thankfully I had only eaten about a fourth of the sandwich.) Definitely impeded my appetite, though, and I may have discovered my new "diet" approach. Not all was disappointing...the fries were amazing. I'm all about giving second chances but unfortunately, with the lackluster attention given by the server, hostesses and cashier, we won't be back. read more
