As a frequent visitor to Moab, it's always nice to have new places to dine! After Eklectic Cafe closed, we felt pretty stuck, but Cactus Jacks has breathed new life into the Moab breakfast scene! All standards (eggs, omelets) are great and there are many creative options and options for vegetarians. Very flavorful waffle, breakfast tacos are wonderful. On, and the fry bread!!! Last minute stop for breakfast before traveling home. Our group got a variety of breakfast classics all of them very tasty. Chicken and waffles were on point. Pleasant surprise. The chicken was very moist, yet flavorful and waffles were perfect texture with a crispy sweet crunch. Huevos rancheros did not disappoint either. Best breakfast in Moab! I love the welcoming and spacious interior, we've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. Our servers have always been very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I have several allergies and they take extra care to make sure my breakfast is prepared perfect every time. We stopped here by chance and what a surprise, I had their Chicken and Waffles and WOW it was great! I'm not a big fan of white meat chicken. but this chicken breast was juicy and great. Their waffle was good size and it really hit the spot for lunch. read more

So I normally don't give five stars easily but these days good service is hard to find and our server Stephanie was amazing. Came for breakfast. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area, but value is outstanding. There were 6 of us, so we had a diverse sampling of food. French Toast is the best I have ever had, pancakes were HUGE and yummy. The Big Biscuit is more food than one person can eat and was so good! Omelet was great with fresh ingredients. You walk in not thinking and expecting much but after you're first bite you know you've found something great. We came in with a party of 11 (two families) at 1pm and they seated us right away with ease. Food took a bit to come but we had a huge party and boy was it worth it. The kids got French toast and it was mind blowing! It has like frosted flakes or something cooked with it. So incredible and not too sweet! Can't wait to have that again. I keep stealing bites from my kids! The chicken and waffles was so beautifully plated and soooo tasty! Perfectly crisp and the waffles was perfect too. Price was right, canyon style French toast is dipped in corn flakes so that was a nice surprise that my husband enjoyed. I Highly recommend the chicken and waffles that's what I got, and the chicken was seasoned to perfection and filling. We tried our best to finish our plates it was so damn good. the food was really good. i got the big biscuit. the biscuit was so fluffy. the gravy was tasty. the fried chicken and bacon could have been a little crispier but the flavor was there. going in the off season we were able to get in immediately at 9am on a Sunday. they have plenty of seating and the place was clean. it wasn't too loud either. the server was nice and attentive and the food came out promptly. ok, didn't want to GUSH too much as it will bring more people, lol but this place did everything AWESOME!!!! Thane who handled our order was super nice, efficient, thoughtful and the FOOD was fast & GREAT! We just got an early morning take home order and it was a celebratory treat for us, so we got a LOT, which is why I am giving a detailed review, and they are newbies to town, we want to support the EXCELLENT businesses that stay here and who serve the locals, the film crews and tourists & TAKE CARE OF THEIR STAFF. This place is off to a gr8 start. Very clean, great staff and cooks, music playing in bar area was awesome, NOT a typical sound track , a full bar room, lots of seating, parking is ok. It is right on Main St., so crowded, yes, but if you go like I did EARLY, avoid the busier times, you will have no problems. We will go back and check out the dinner and drinks, cannot wait!! Hope you STAY and pay your employees a gr8 wage because many around here do work on slave wages, so treat them nice and you will not only have loyalty/longevity but it will reflect on the service we get and you will be here for LONG time! PS: we had the whole nine, steak & waffle, chicken & waffle, French toasties, short stacks, espresso and all was cooked and packed perfectly!!!!!
