I worked in the automotive industry for over two decades and have purchased countless vehicles throughout my career. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing dealership experience I've had. I had been working with Andy for several weeks, yet the dealership was unable to secure the financing I needed. I ultimately had to obtain my own financing through my bank. During that time, I also asked them to negotiate the price and remove the deceptive dealer add ons, but both requests were declined. Then, just two days ago, the dealership dramatically reduced the price of the vehicle. Rather than reaching out to let me know, I had to discover it myself and contact Andy. Even after I had financing fully approved and was ready to move forward at the new price, I waited an entire day for a final out the door quote. My requests were ignored. This morning, I learned the vehicle had been sold. As of now, I still have not heard a single follow up from Andy. Classic dealership. Bought a used Escalade and didn't disclose dealer add-ons until I was signing the papers. Added 6k worth of added dealer add-ons which became almost the price of a new Escalade. Only came with one key. I had to follow up to get a second key. When I called for not receiving plates and registration after 2 and an half month, no call back or no answer. Aftermarket Warranties are a Rip-Off. We purchased a low mileage Cadillac CT5 from Pasadena Cadillac in early 2025. Our salesman Cham recommended $4200 worth of extra warranties. Now i realize these warranties are worthless. The Cadillac Maintenance Warranty cost $1066 and can only be used at Pasadena Cadillac dispite what we were told. We live in Orange County and he knew that. The Road Ready Mechanical Failure warranty cost $3,143 and only provides limited coverage beyond the factory warranty between 50,000 and 60,000 miles. I should have known better. I trusted his advice. I feel betrayed. Beware. read more

This review is specifically for service/concierge, Zane. Context: I originally purchased all weather mats from the Cadillac site and they were delivered free of charge to my local dealership. Once they arrived I received a call to drop by anytime to pick them up. I asked if they could vacuum my car before installing the mats before I arrive and was told it was ok. This morning I had an hour window so I headed over and was greeted by Zane. He accepted my vehicle and escorted me to their customer lounge. I was then approached by another individual who delivered my mats, still inside the shipping box. When Zane returned and informed me that my car was ready, he assisted in installing my rear mats. We completed the credit app, provided insurance, and scheduled pickup. When we arrived, nothing was prepared and they refused to honor the agreed deal, blaming "miscommunication." Let me start by saying that although I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle, I had a wonderful experience working with Cham. I spoke with several salesmen from various Cadillac dealerships, and many of those interactions were disappointing--not because they wouldn't accept my offers, but because most either didn't try or didn't seem to care. Several took days to respond, and others gave a single offer and never followed up. Cham, on the other hand, was responsive, polite, and consistently professional. He appeared open to all of my offers, with the exception of my final one, which ultimately ended the opportunity for a sale. Derek W. goes above & beyond as a Customer Relations Manager. I purchased my used GMC Yukon Denali 3 weeks ago & returned last week to pick up a second key fob that was promised to me at purchase. It took awhile to program the new key fob but Cadillac Pasadena has a new & first rate showroom & waiting area. Snacks, bottled water, coffee & big screen tv are available if you want them. Plus comfortable furniture to relax in. Derek made sure to check in with me often & communicate how the service was going. Richard M., a service consultant, was also extremely helpful in keeping me updated. Richard also helped me later set up my Apple CarPlay so it would start immediately upon starting the vehicle as opposed to the delay I was experiencing. Finally, Derek had the detail guys wash my car & shine the tires so it was showroom new again. Above & beyond means just that. I wasn't happy with the odor in my used car after I had driven it a few days. Derek told me to bring it in & he would make it right. First, he had service install a new cabin air filter at no cost to me. Then he set off two "scent bombs" & recirculated the AC to complete the process. The odor is definitely acceptable now. I'll need to take my 2023 Yukon Denali in one more time for service soon. My work schedule is unpredictable but Derek is the perfect person to act as a liaison between Richard in service & me. I'll just call Derek & he'll set up the service time & day with Richard. It's a quicker & streamlined approach. Why don't other dealers have customer relations personnel? Maybe they do but Derek's the first one I've ever met. I don't see how much better I could be treated had I even bought a new Escalade. I was emailed about needing an oil change on my car. Claire is super kind and helpful. She did everything right. I then reached out to the dealership about getting an oil change and I was told they couldn't service my car because they don't have the availability to do so. I asked about the concierge service. I was told they don't offer it anymore since there's new management. I asked if I can drop it off and if they can shuttle me or uber me 6 miles. I was told they couldn't offer me that. Apparently all technicians take lunch at the same time and they don't have enough techs to complete jobs. I went elsewhere and got everything I needed done within an hour. Terrible customer service. I took my 2024 Lyriq in for scheduled service at Pasadena Cadillac this morning and was advised that there was a 4-5 day back up on servicing EV's because they only have 1 EV technician. I'm not an unreasonable person and understand this isn't something they can control, for the most part. I mean they probably should hire another technician, but maybe there's a shortage of qualified candidates. So, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. My problem with this situation is that they should have advised me of this when I made the appointment so I could have the option of scheduling elsewhere. Or better yet, don't schedule an appointment for Monday when you know you can't service my car until Thursday or Friday. Don't make me take time out of my day to drive there, just to tell me you have to keep my car for a week. Even this might be acceptable if they had a loaner car for me. But, guess what? No loaners either. This is completely unacceptable by any reasonable standard of customer care. At the very minimum, make the customer aware of the situation beforehand, so they can decide if they can manage without their car for a week or choose to take it someplace else. This shows respect and care for your customers' time. Let me be clear, the young man who was handling intake was very polite and apologetic. This is not on him. I actually feel bad for him, that his employer would put him in this embarrassing situation. This is on whoever decided it was a good idea to schedule appointments when you know you don't have the staffing or capacity to service the customers' vehicle. That person, needs to be re-trained or replaced. This dealership is currently undergoing a remodel. I have news for you. If you don't take good care of people, customers AND employees, it doesn't matter how pretty your showroom is. Your business will suffer. Also, notice the absence of management responses to bad reviews? Is this characteristic of a business that cares about it's customers? I expected much, much more from a luxury brand. I am badly disappointed and will be contacting GM about this experience. UPDATE: I received a call and text message from Marco apologizing for the experience. My experience with this particular location was so cold and uncomfortable that it left me wondering how they even manage to sell cars. I came in early in the morning to inquire about a Cadillac electric vehicle. Admittedly, this was the early crew, but their attitude set the tone for the entire dealership. The staff, including what appeared to be the general manager, were stiff, disengaged, and, frankly, dismissive. The vibe was akin to stepping into an exclusive fine art museum where the air is heavy with judgment. Their demeanor wasn't just indifferent; it carried an air of subtle arrogance, as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to be there. From the moment I walked in, there was a distinct lack of attentiveness. I told them clearly--three times--that I wasn't planning to trade in my Tesla, yet they kept asking the same question, like they hadn't even heard me. Their repeated up-and-down glances at my perfectly normal California attire (vest, long sleeve, jeans) felt condescending, as if they were silently appraising whether I "belonged" in their showroom. When it came to the test drive, the energy didn't improve. They rushed through the process like they had somewhere more important to be, exuding zero enthusiasm or effort to engage me. There was no attempt to build rapport and certainly no warmth in their sales approach. The general manager's persistent glaring added an unnecessary layer of tension, like I had wandered onto his turf uninvited. Newsflash: this is a Cadillac dealership, not spring training for the Dodgers. The contrast became starkly apparent when I drove straight thereafter to BMW Monrovia. There, I met a young Ukrainian salesman, a recent emigre, who wasn't a native English speaker, but he was personable, warm, and made an effort to connect. He offered genuine insights, asked thoughtful questions, and actually seemed to enjoy his job. It was a refreshing change and proof that a good salesmanship comes from a multitude of avenues--but the key is about creating a positive relationship with the customer. This Cadillac dealership, however, is the polar opposite. If you want to feel like a valued customer, or even just a human being, this is not the place for you. The energy is cold, the vibe is weird, and the staff seem more interested in judging you than helping you. I purchased a 2024 Cadillac from the Cadillac Pasadena. Though not everything about the vehicle was disclosed before I flew down to the dealership, I proceeded with purchasing the vehicle. The sales associate, Cham, pleaded with me to give him a 10/10 on his review and asked me to "shake on it" that I would leave him a 10/10. When it came time to leave a review, I left an honest review giving 8s, 9s, and 10s. Sales Associate Cham called me, then sent a hostile text message to me telling me that he hopes I "learn some compassion later in my life." Additionally, Sales Associate Cham indicated to me that the only reason he gave me a First Responder Discount was because he wasn't busy, otherwise he "wouldn't have gone the extra mile..." Yikes. Though I was satisfied with the purchase of my vehicle, as indicated by a good review, I am unsatisfied with the way that Sales Associate Cham of Cadillac Pasadena has conducted himself after purchasing. I left a fair and honest review of my experience. I will not leave a dishonest review, just because the sales associate pleaded with me to. Do not come here. Do not come for service. Do not not come to buy a car. They do not know their head from their a** here. You walk in and no one says anything to you. There is no clear direction. They look at you, you look at them, and you have to start asking around to find out who can help you. I was turning in my vehicle for a scheduled wheel alignment and it took 30 minutes just to turn it in. This is the most disorganized car servicing center I have ever been to. Moving on, I had a $325 credit I needed to use which was for the diagnostic check (cost of the check but they let you use that credit for any other services they provide) they did when I got a tuneup, which I tried to use on a wheel alignment and oil change, I was already done with them at that point, but just wanted to use the credit up. Fast forward, they do the service and then I come to pick up my car and pay and Isabel tries to get out of the credit saying that it can only be applied to repairs that are suggested on the diagnostic. 1. That was never mentioned when I turned it in and 2. The alignment WAS! After having to argue, Isabel eventually called her superior to run it by him and they agreed to apply the credit. Be careful here. They are grimy. I would definitely not recommend. read more

First and foremost, Cadillac promises a red carpet treatment and our experience for the past 14 months has been that of a used red carpet of an abandoned theater in downtown La. Not only is the vehicle in constant need of attention for updates that take an entire day at the shop to do, but the lack of communication and follow through with ensuring that their product is returned in pristine condition is indicative of the lack of "Red Carpet" treatment that is their motto. This last incident was unacceptable. Our vehicle was taken in last Wednesday for issues we were having with the sound and requested a quote to fix a dent in the hood and minor blemishes around the front bumper. We received a quote for the hood and were told the other areas would be taken care of. We agreed to the cost and waited for repairs to be completed. Upon its return, we noticed that 200 miles were added to the mileage! This is a leased vehicle! Someone left their used water bottle inside the vehicle and all of the settings of the dash had been reset. The hood that had been repaired was returned with new scratches covering the entire hood! You would think that a dealership would be accountable for maintaining a standard of excellence Cadillac supposedly prides themselves on. I would also assume that quality control or some sort of inspection is competed to ensure that repairs are completed in line with what would be expected of a luxury vehicle brand. To add insult to injury the additional request to address blemishes along the bumper did not occur, we weren't given the option to pay for any additional work we requested and our gas tank returned empty when it was over half full. Being without a car for 8 days is difficult enough to coordinate transportation needs for work, now I'm left with uncertainty if Cadillac will stand by their brand motto of "Red Carpet" treatment and make this right. My suggestion, don't get a Cadillac. read more
