Jacqueline, the owners wife is always welcoming and gracious. I took a friend in to get a cookie assortment for a party she was attending. As we were discussing how much and what we needed with Jacqueline she said next time bring your platter. It was in the car we got it and she put together a gorgeous platter with complimentary cellophane wrap and ribbon! It's a pleasure to shop local in a family owned business. We recently hosted an Italian dinner party which would not have been complete without fresh cannoli. I was looking for something open on Sunday and Caesar's was a great find! The cost was affordable for several dozen mini cannoli and all of our guests really enjoyed them. They were refreshing and ridiculously smooth with a great crunch. Nothing like that owner to be in the bakery. I wanted to order a cake for my son's birthday, the first lady who attended me asked me how many people and I answered 30, another lady who was accommodating baklava replied that they were at least 35 or 40, so I answered 35 was fine and she answered back 40 which the first lady did not know what to do and I answered 35, the first lady asked me for the picture and I gave her my phone which she took it to show it to the lady who was accommodating the baklava she asked us if we want it pasta or cream and my son and I answered cream, she immediately told us that we can't have it with cream (so I don't understand why she asked us that question, if she know already she can't make it the way we want it,) I told them that whenever I ordered cakes, I would make them with cream even though the photo was paste and she answered that she could not make it. I know Cesar has lot of clients and i don't think, he remember us but we follow him from the old bakery (vrej) and always he is kind and try to help and make the cake the way we want it, he always tell us that the cake will change but to be honest always has been perfect, The lady who had my cell phone said in Arminio that I asked to speak with cesar and the other lady said no , because she is the one who make the cakes. I saw her and asked her if she can make the cake and she said no, then I told my son to leave, she was asking me why we were leaving? and i didnt reply she was screaming and asking me why i was upset?obviously i was upset, because this people don't know how hard sometimes you have to work to have your own business and some employees don't care, they just feel like they own the place, funny the owner is super friendly, but not to mention the employees,definitely this lady does not know how to treat people, Granada hills has too many pastry shops,Chatsworth st I think it's time to try other places. read more

I've been in twice so far , and their pastries are truly fresh and they do not skimp on what's stuffed inside . We were craving for some cannolis after watching the travel channel on the tele, so we immediately started our search for the best on yelp. And this place does not dissapoint, we tried their mini cannolis which is $1 each, it was really good but not too sweet so you can eat more than one and not feel guilty about it. Also tried the mini fruit tart with black/blue/raspberries on top and i have to say this is my new fave. Will def come back, they have so much more for me ro try! The place was clean and very well organized, it's what you would expect from a pastry shop not to mention the aroma(they must do the baking in the back), they also have an ample parking space(that's convenient). What a delightful, family owned, neighborhood bakery! We came here for "breakfast" last weekend and sampled a variety of goodies, taking a couple home as well. They offer a variety of cookies, many with nuts and dates, cakes, napoleons and a variety of pastries, baklava, and other delicacies. I loved the sesame cookie I tasted -- crunchy, flavorful, and not too sweet. I tried another cookie with pistachios and that was also delicious. Their baklava is amazing. I also tried a fried pancake folded around nuts and fried, then generously dressed with syrup...delicious! The bottom line is that they have a wide variety of desserts, all home made. The service: This is a family business and it has the sweetest owner, and staff/ family. I am so excited to support a nice small business in my community. They could not have been anymore accommodating or kind to me, they let me try samples of yummy stuff that I never would have tried before. The presentation: impeccable, I felt like I was back in Europe in one of the little bakeries all the dessert are so pretty! They really love what they do and it shows. The taste: We are dessert junkies on our house, but we don't love anything out of a box. So we ordered a few things. The napoleon was absolute perfection!!! And my favorite thing we ordered. The cream was rich and sweet, the layers of crust were flaky and fresh. Then sprinkled with powdered sugar it went perfect with my cup of coffee. The tiramisu had all the right flavors from the rich expresso base to the light cream topping. The eclair was good, the chocolate topping was a little thick for me, however the cream and the puff pastry were in point. The cannoli I wasn't a fan of, had a little too much amaretto in it for me, which I believe is what made the filling a little to watery. Over all this is my new bakery can't wait for our next cake need, or sweet tooth! *For the record I do not in anyway know anyone from this bakery it was just that good! read more

Ever since our home town grocery chain, Basha's, introduced me to baklava at the age of 6 I have been a fanatic. The stores sold the Lebanese form of baklava, but any combination of flaky pastry, ground nuts and either rose syrup or honey has my vote. I found Ceasar's on line when I was searching for a bakery for a coworker's birthday cake. The staff was so very helpful, and the owner and chef himself, Naim, came out to meet me and offer samples. Everything was delicious. The fruit tart was luscious and beautiful and a medium tart along with a box of pastry was only $34 total. They asked me if I would come back.
