Little disappointed in my last visit to Cafe Zupas. Initially the service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was slow but the workers were prepping for the. evening rush. We placed our order and made our way down the checkout. I asked if the hot honey was served on the side and was assured it was for takeout orders. I got home and realized that they left out the sauce all together. It wasn't on the bowl or in the bag. Utter disappointment to get the hot honey chicken without that signature spice. The mango mojito was soo refreshing tropical and minty. I loved the bowl that I got. A perfect combination of all the textures made it the best choice for me. My friend ate bit of her salad only because it was too soupy. She liked the flavor though. I didn't like how the person taking my order spoke to me. I couldn't understand what she was saying and I asked her to repeat herself. She talked to me in a very flat tone which just made it more difficult to understand. English isn't my first language and my anxiety causes my hearing to go. For the sake of people with hearing problems and language barriers, I hope that person learns how to speak kindly to others. read more

It has been years since I dined at Cafe Zupas, decided to pop in for a quick bite. The portions are bigger than I expected; the combo includes a whole sandwich, after this lunch I didn't need to eat anything else the remainder of the day. I wish I would have taken pictures of the meal. They still offer the bread and a chocolate covered strawberry with your meal, again good portions. My girlfriends and I eat out about every 6 weeks and this has become our favorite restaurant! I love seeing a couple of the same workers every time (the first gal on the line that takes our order, I didn't catch her name, and John, who usually rings us out.) They are very friendly, and as I said, it's nice to see them month after month. The food is always fresh and I love getting the chocolate dipped strawberry! That was such a surprise the first time we visited and that coupled with all the great choices of food keep us coming back. And there has always been enough room for us to sit even though the parking lot is full when we pull in and the place is busy. The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms are clean, too. Also good music playing but it's also quiet enough to hear each other talk. We love this place and will keep coming back! My new go to soup, sandwich and salad plate. Went with my sister-in-law for lunch. Ordered at the counter. I got the grilled cheese sandwich with pesto and a half and half soup. Half cauliflower and half tomato. I was in heaven with both. I had devoured most of my meal before I took pictures because it looked so good and tasted even better. The grilled cheese with the pesto was over the top delicious and the soups were so rich and comforting and out of this world good. I also received a side of bread and a super special touch is the chocolate covered strawberry. I will be back again and again!! This was one of the worst experiences we have had. Ordered Lobster Biscue and Southwest Tortilla soup. The bisque was like water. Both soups were lacking any kind of meat or veggies. Broth! We found 2 little pieces of chicken in one of them and NO MEAT in mine...just celery (barely any of that at all. 2 Small sandwiches also...Very small/nothing special. This lovely dinner cost us just shy of $40. A tip of 15% was also added on top of that. 2 bowls of broth and 2 sandwiches....wow. Never again. Supposed to get a choc covered strawberry too. The website ordering directs you to the drive-thru but you can't see the line from where you enter the lane. And viola!! I've actually never been here but this is the go-to for my department for our academic lunches so I would say we get zupas probably upwards of 10-15 times a year. They're always on time and their lunches with a sandwich + salad + cookie/chips are always spot on. Every time I see that it's zupas for our lunch delivery, I'm so excited!! I'm not sure how healthy it is but it feels like I'm eating healthier than my usual meals so it's a win-win. read more

Been getting take out for a few years. Started out great. Something must have changed. Lobster bisque was watery, chicken bbq salad had lime 4 tiny cubes of chicken. About $25-26 for 2 combos. Going to be awhile before we go back. Thank you for replying. To be fair we should have reached out first. Cafe Zupas has a terrific model and I presume successful. I'm really happy with the food quality and cleanliness of the restaurant. It's a similar concept to Panera with soups, salads, and sandwiches--however it's a lot better in my opinion. I got a choose 2. My first choice was the cauliflower soup and added noodles and cheese on top. It was so good and is their version of Mac and cheese. I also got the burrata and mixed berry salad. Together it was too much food for me for lunch, so I'd stick with one choice next time. The salad had a fair amount of fruit in it and the burrata was a good size. It does not make any sense to order online from this Zupas. My order was over 30 minutes late. It would have only taken 7 minutes to walk through the line, which in retrospect, I should have done. They have not figured out how to do online order very well. Felt bad for the workers because they had to deal with angry people waiting for very late online orders. It is the management's fault for not setting up a system to fix the problem. Highly recommend to not do online ordering. Have had this frustrating experience many times in the past. My mom and I went here for lunch. The place is a bit pricey the soup we had was lukewarm. The sandwich bread was a little bit much ( too thick) sandwiches didn't have a lot of meat. The baguettes that they have are basically very thick dinner rolls and we're unfortunately not very tasty. The staff was very friendly, however everything cost extra when I got chicken tortilla soup, the tortillas to go in and we're extra cheese and sour cream were all extra charges. This is the first time we've ever tried café Zupas. I've heard good things about it so we decided to check it out. First off, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu is a board over the serving table. So many selections of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Everything looked awesome. I decided on the spicy chicken sandwich, and a California Cobb salad. My sandwich was on home-baked wheat roll, and the flavor was outstanding. Everything is made from scratch, and you can tell by the taste. They also have flavor infused juices, waters, and your standard colas and other soft drinks. They also have carry outs...just call ahead. Definitely worth the money and we will be back. read more

There were only three thin slices of apple on a large salad! Barely any chicken or craisins. No matter what I order, the food has been great, fresh & delicious. The prices are reasonable also. But the staff is one of the best I've ever seen, friendly, smiling and super efficient!. The 50% off coupon got this yelper in sooner than later for a review so if that was the strategy it worked. The place is new construction so it's super clean and shiny with a nice patio across from Portillo's. The place is modern looking with high ceilings, butcher block table tops, metal chairs and a drink station. The place is Subway style with everything on the line and you move down with your order. I would sample two of the try 2 combos because why not, the second one is free. Everything along the line looked fresh with tons of options from bowls, salads, soups, sweets, drinks and sandwiches. I got the Italian and the turkey bacon guacamole sandwichs with clam chowder and the chicken enchilada chili for the soups. The combos come with a full sandwich, 1/2 soup, fresh roll and a chocolate dipped strawberry. The turkey bacon guacamole was panini style, toasted with melty cheese. The Italian looked better thats a cold sandwich and just like TBG not very meaty, no Jersey Mike's meaty sandwich here but the Italian was the tastier sandwich. The soups were pretty good/tasty but mostly broth for the clam chowder, light/sparse on the main ingredients which was a little disappointing for how tasty it was, hence the fresh roll for dipping to distract you and fill you up. The chicken enchilada chili was chunkier than the clam chowder by far with corn, beans and chicken. Overall I liked the food and it's a nice soup/sandwich spot for the area because as far as I know it's the only one around in the immediate area so if you shopping in the area it's a nice change. Great for pickup during this crazy quarantine. They created a drive up area to pull up, order and pickup. Love their bowls- wish they came in a bowl- even for takeout. All food is fresh, crisp and tasty. Dressings are great- and being take out- you get to dress salad and therefore- don't have to drown salad in dressing. Love the quinoa and seed mix in the bowls... and all the different veggies you can get. My daughter loves their sandwiches and tries a new one every time. She loves their chipotle steak club- and has a hard time not getting it every time. My brother took me here for a quick lunch the other day, and it was very nice! They have many options, and I liked that you could mix and match with salad and soup and paninis. I tried the roasted red pepper and lobster soup with a small citrus and berry salad. Both were quite good, and they come with a roll and a chocolate dipped strawberry. Overall, the food was really great! Since they have reusable bowls and trays, I was hoping they would have washable utensils and cups as well. However, these were single-use plastic.
