    Turkey Superfood Sandwich

Service is always friendly. This sandwich is just bland. I got it with sour dough and it crumbled as I ate it. Definitely a bummer. Also my pickle was mush. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My protein shake was superb![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But for sandwich's I will most likely stay away.

My office building is near here, I'm usually remote but come into the office occasionally. We order lunch here at times! Since it's in the middle of many office buildings, I'm sure they get a lot of lunch orders. Their food is usually good, a vast sandwich/salad menu, so something for everyone. I'm a big fan or the honey mustard chipotle chicken sandwich!! The honey mustard chipotle sauce is delish, the bacon adds a nice salty bite, and I love that it's toasted crispy. It's a little messy but I still enjoyed it! Sometimes, our orders do get mixed up which is a bit inconvenient, but I'm sure it's hard to keep track during a big lunch rush.

Avocado Toast (2 slices), Iced Latte

I used to order delivery from Cafe 160 back in 2020 and was in the area for a training so I thought to stop by to check it out. I thought I beat a hectic lunch rush while I ordered first, but somehow my order of avocado toast fell through and everyone in the line received their order before me. I do like their breakfast bowls here and the seasoning on the avocado toast is one of my favorite breakfast items. My coffee was ready, but I did have to stand in front of the counter awkwardly to remind them about my food. Once they realized, they made the order very quickly. I ordered two slices of toast, however, to my dismay, one of them was not toasted. It was a bit sad to eat and I ended up having to leave soon right after, so I did not check. I'd continue to order for delivery purposes only because I'm not the hugest fan of their layout and ordering system.

Love cafe 160's localization of ingredients. The salted caramel latte is a nice way to start of your morning. I truly like their spartan scramble , it's a hearty breakfast for one who has an early start in the day

Sizable, tasty sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Delicious coffee drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All in all the good experience. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

    Chicken Pesto Sandwich (grilled)

Awkward experience here but willing to try it again. We walked in and waited at the counter for the employees to ask us for our order name. (They were in the middle of doing something) but what was annoying was a group of three people showed up behind us and the employees asked for their names while we stood there waiting.. I thought that was a little awkward, but nonetheless, I was excited to try my iced chai latte and chicken pesto sandwich. Both were very underwhelming. The iced chai was watered down and I could tell before I drank from it. And the sandwich was awkwardly very small and the taste wasn't all there. The positives are our order was on time, they have online ordering, affordable items, and many options on the menu that I'm willing to try in the future.

    Spicy Thai chicken bowl

Great deli if your in the balboa/areo area. Tasty healthy and quick. It's perfect for lunch to go if you have to get back to the office. I got the spicy Thai chicken bowl with no tomato's. Definitely a solid sized bowl with lots of chicken. Gave it a quick mix and went to town. It was great and full of flavor, the peppers and peanuts were my favorite part. I'm definitely coming back to try a sandwich or another bowl. Any bowl you can get as a burrito as well. Nice variety and they serve breakfast as well. Good little spot if your office is in the area.

My coworkers usually walk here since it's near by work and also to get a little exercise in as well. You need to have the address in hand to find the business since it's behind a building. Parking is good since it's shared with other businesses around the area. Once you walk inside it is small and the menu is straight forward and the employees are quick to help. I ended up ordering the Chicken Pesto and a tea. I was a little surprised by the price and they did have military discount, so that was a plus. Once I received my sandwich it was small for the price and I understand that it was toasted but I don't like a sandwich that cuts up the roof of my mouth. Wasn't to found of the flavor either, the taste was bland and like I stated before it was small for the price.

Quaint spot. Quaint choices too! Got myself one of the coco wraps with tofu. Pretty good. Wait times are not too bad, order online to get that speedier. Place is hidden but inside they got a cool table made from a huge wooden door. Good for healthyness. However the Chai I got was not really good haha. Stick to the food, you'll like this spot.

Such a cute cafe. Used to love to come here and completely forgot about it after I moved but I'm back! Love the iced salted caramel latte and their food is bomb too.

Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for again to visit but was worth a one time stop. It's in a plaza/main audience is for the business workers there. The americano was okay. They gave me an extra cup of ice because it was hot (asked for ice) so pretty watery but that's fine enough. Not too noisy and there are outlets to plug into. Both indoor and outdoor seating. They have vegan protein powder for smoothies which is nice to see. Sort of hard to find/only a tiny sign.

Golden latte with a shot of espresso (made this low carb, hold the honey, add stevia drops)

Yum. I searched for 'organic' on Google maps and came up with this place. This is our second visit, and love the menu, service attitude, product freshness, local suppliers. It's got little tables and its in an office park. Park anywhere around the garage (not 'reserved' sign), monthly parking passes suspended.

Covid #10 review Always friendly, fast and great variety of healthy breakfast and lunch. I got an Italian stallion sandwich, a mint mocha and protein smoothue called " pb hemp protein repair". Available for takeout. Looks like they support all covid safety measures. Support small businesses. They even emailed us looking for donations. I decided to come and get takeout. When you support Cafe 160, you are also supporting 12 other small businesses, who are their suppliers. See my photo of the chalkboard list.

We got to the restaurant around 8:00 PM on Thursday evening. There were 4 of us and the restaurant wasn't super busy, but our server seemed to have all the tables on her service! The menu is decently extensive with a variety of pastas, pizzas and special dishes. I ordered the Canelloni, one of us got a pizza, one got the veal picatta and one got the spaghetti with burrata. Everything came out piping hot and ready to eat. The big dollop of burrata looked sooooo good! My meal was great - the burnt cheese along the edges was delicious! The pizza was tasty and apparently the veal picatta was delicious, too! They ordered a bottle of the Chianti and said it tasted great. I was going to order an Espresso Martini, but not at $22! Overall, the service was great, the food was authentically delicious and the vibe of the restaurant was nice and chill.

My favorite salads are the Grapevine and Duck Cranberry. For sides I recommend the potato salad and tomato basil bisque. The aioli they use is to die for -- can't hurt to get a side of it with any sandwich! The restaurant is situated on the corner of Park Blvd. and Polk Ave. (more generally, it's on the strip of Park Blvd. between University Ave. and El Cajon Blvd.). There is usually a good amount of parking on Park Blvd. and Polk Ave., which is nice. The space has a simple-yet-tasteful modern design and interior, is always clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Great for lunch hour or a weekend date. Update: Came back today with my friend and we ordered the B3 and the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwiches, plus sides of potato salad and cucumber salad, and a double chocolate cookie with pistachio and sea salt. Everything was really good, but the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwich was the star of the show. The cookie was great too. We both agreed the potato salad could use some salt, but besides that it was a solid meal all around.

Fantastic drink, chip and snack selection. Sandwiches are always bomb asf. The hot momma and BLT loaded up is my favorite. My husband still loves their Ruben (it is his favorite place to get it.) I used to frequent Fatboy's because it was close and convenient for a long time, but I am rarely able to visit anymore... parking is a bigger challenge every day in North Park, and finding even a 15-minute spot takes way longer than the drive for me now (but the walk is too far to pick up a quick meal). Today I was down the street for something else so decided to order a sandwich. I was excited, then my jaw dropped when I saw the price increases. It's $18 for the North Park Club now, with no extras. I already had a hard time justifying $15 for a sandwich but I'm officially, 100% priced out now. I know it's not necessarily on the business owners; rent is exorbitant in NP, profit margins are small in the food service industry, and operating costs are high. I came in and immediately the woman working in the front I could tell was rude and radiating negative energy. I am witnessing a common theme about this with many of the other people who have left negative reviews about this establishment. You guys also seem to reply and pretend like you resolve the issue but there have been multiple review follow-ups where people claim you guys do not actually make up for the horrible service. Anyway, I walk in and immediately I have to wait a long time to order and I can tell that the guy in front of me has been there a while already. Finally, I place my order and the lady is so awfully rude. Every answer I had for her questions made me feel that I had done something wrong even though I was very nice and just there for a simple thing: to get a sandwich. I usually greet people and ask how they are doing but she got directly to business. I understand that she was busy but she was immediately unwelcoming. "What kind of bread would you like?" (I do not see the bread on the menu when I immediately look up so I reply, "white (I will admit there are many different types of bread but I did not know what they have and usually when I order somewhere I just say white and they know what I am talking about or politely ask for clarification) *she rolls her eyes* "french, sourdough, Dutch?" Then, she asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomato. I replied, "just lettuce please" and again she makes me feel dumb for just ordering. I ask if the sandwich comes with mayonnaise because it was not listed but there were additional items on it and she says that they do not have mayonnaise but another sauce as if mayonnaise is a crazy request. "Can I get a name for the order?" "Jessica" "Jessica?" like my name is ugly or something and not like she could not hear me. At this point I am picking apart everything that she uttered but seriously such an unhappy woman with no hospitality skills. Trust me on this and either experience it yourself or read some other 1-star reviews if you do not believe me. She then walked away as I was still paying so I could not even ask for a receipt or anything. This was essentially the extent of my direct experience with the woman in the front but I witnessed more things happening to other customers while I was waiting for my sandwich for a really long time. Apparently an order kept getting rung up and people kept coming in trying to pick it up but it had already been picked up and the woman would say "communicate this. someone already picked it up" with a huge attitude like it was their fault there was a glitch in the system. I also took notice that there was a big order for 4:30 and when the order was finished, one of the male workers went over and served himself a drink from the soft drinks dispenser and when he was handing the woman all of the many bags, he took a break to take a drink out of his cup. I think it also important that I add she had already been given 5-6 bags and was caring a lot and he was not coughing and desperately needed water and I do not even think there was water in the cup. I will also say though that all of the customers waiting were very friendly and understanding that they were busy and I am too but there was no reason to be rude and lack the principles of basic costumer service. I work with people too and we all have bad days but by the looks of these other reviews, this is a very common occurrence. I am glad people are willing to speak up about this. Another thing I noticed was that apparently someone's order was not in the system and they made the person feel so bad for it and that it was their fault except with all of these problems, it is highly likely that this could have been the establishment's fault but they never even entertained this. I might also add that the woman that took my order when she was making sandwiches I saw her cough into her hands (no gloves mind you) and then grab the *at least it was* wrapped sandwich and put it in the bag. I wanted to try this place because it was close to my campus and I will say that the sandwich tasted good but it was nowhere near worth the horrible aura I experience while being at Ike's. I will surely never spend another dime at Ike's and encourage my friends to not support a business that does not prioritize cleanliness and kindness. Even when they packed up my order, the same man who was taking sip breaks handing a woman her order, was throwing my stuff together and gave me a tiny bag when he saw I was also holding my chips and drink. That was not very thoughtful if you ask me but I would not expect thoughtfulness after what I had already endured from this sandwich joint. I think Ike's would benefit from a personality change and should consider improving their warmth and helpful nature.
