what a great little spot to have lunch at, my friend had the chipotle burger and I had the grilled turkey BLAT with avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and turkey grilled on sourdough. We popped in for lunch on a Sunday and found ample seating and a cozy atmosphere. They specialize in brewing loose teas so I ordered the coconut chai and received a small pot brewed just for me. We enjoyed the BLAT and a classic burger with a side of fries while watching sidewalk traffic. The fries were excellent and my BLAT bread a toasted, buttery highlight. Well, I won't be back!!! I'm a huge Dog Lover!! But there are places Dogs do not belong!!! A costumer brought there Dog into the "Cafe", then let it jump up on the booth seat beside them.... The waitress seamed to think this was normal behavior?? Did not ask the costumer to get the Dog off the seat. There is absolutely No reason what so ever to bring any Dog into a restaurant!!! (except a medical assistant dog, then it must be wearing a vest indicating it is a service animal, to be legal. If I'd been with the Health Dept. I'd shut this " Cafe 2.0 down!!!! Small diced seasoned potatoes were perfect as was the crispy bacon and preparation of my picky eggs. The biscuits in my 1/2 order biscuits and gravy were fluffy! Service was wonderful! Owner/server was surprisingly attentive while busy with the entire dining room! Impressive!!! Prices are completely unexpected and so incredibly reasonable!!
