Warm and welcoming. The Ben Franklin stove was on, tunes playing in the kitchen with a full cook team. We were greeted with smiles. The Eggs Benedict was tasty and the peach and pecan waffle cooked just right. Food was served quickly. Coffee was a bit weak for my taste. I can see some coffee snobs being disappointed but that didn't ruin our breakfast or experience. Indian Creek Cafe is a local tradition.

The reviews for this place are kind of mixed so I was a little apprehensive about it until I tasted that sausage gravy. It's so freaking good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with sourdough, and the steak itself is standard but the gravy was a delight. My partner got the waffles which comes with a very thick syrup and it's a bit chewy but he enjoyed it overall. Great place to stop by for quality classic american breakfast food. Plenty of parking up at the front of the restaurant as well.

This place was perfectly cozy and exactly what we were looking for on a windy Friday morning. A nice rustic spot along the creek with classic breakfast food - we devoured our waffles (*drool*). Our server was super sweet and always had coffee flowing.

Would make the drive for these waffles!!

Wow!!! One of the best breakfasts I've ever had!! If you're in the neighborhood, you have to give this place a try! Our waitress, Melissa, was super friendly & quick with our order! She recommended the pecan waffle and she wasn't wrong... The pecan waffle was off the hook & I didn't want it to end! Caleb, the chef, cooked the bacon to perfection!! We also ordered a BLT with avocado that came with homemade potato salad and it was pretty amazing as well!

So there's this super cute restaurant/campground about a mile down the street from our home but every single time I've driven by the restaurant has been closed. (everything in our town closes up early, this place closes at 1:00) but the other day we were craving breakfast and made a point of trying it out. We split the chicken fried steak meal, with grits and a small stack, it was easily enough food for two people and everything was delicious! We liked it so much we decided to go back again, this time Pinky ordered the biscuits and gravy and I was dyin to try their corned beef hash with eggs and rye toast. Another hit for me, but Pinky was not impressed with the biscuits and gravy at all. The biscuits were bland and puffy and the gravy wasn't the same stuff they use in the chicken fried steak, it was nearly flavorless. The next time we went we took friends who were in town, I ordered the chili relleno omelette, it wasn't as great as I hoped it would be, I thought it would have a chili relleno inside of it, it doesn't, just a few diced chilis inside and cheese, topped with the sauce. Very uninspired. Pinky went for the chicken fried steak with grits because we know that rules and our friends ordered the eggs benny, which they said was wonderful. I will definitely go back again for the chicken fried steak, the corned beef hash, the grits and now I want to try the eggs benny!

It's a nice perk to have a sit-down breakfast option right at the campground. We ate there twice: the first time was a classic breakfast of eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast ($16.00) with a couple of coffee drinks. The eggs were good, and my mocha was excellent, but the bacon and hash browns weren't as crispy as I like. And I thought $16.00 was a bit expensive. On our second visit, we grabbed a to-go breakfast burrito ($9.00). The sausage and egg burrito was good; I would order it again, for sure. Service was friendly and welcoming both times, and I especially liked the relaxed, beachy vibe of the outdoor seating area.

It's a simple menu, eggs, hashbrowns, breakfast meats, breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and the like. We came in on a Friday morning at about 9 AM. We were staying at the RV park where the restaurant is located. It's very convenient for camp guests, We were greeted by our host/server Diana. She was very friendly and told us a little bit about how they had opened fairly recently. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor covered seating has some tables that are in the sand giving a place a real beach feel with the tiki matted roof overhead and nice indoor gas heaters. Both my wife and I ordered the eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with toast. Eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife got a mocha and I got a coffee. Both coffee drinks were very good. Next time, I think I'll try a breakfast burrito.

To top it all off, I grabbed a scoop of Tillamook ice cream on a cone before we left--so good! Great service, delicious food, and a beautiful view. We'd definitely come back!

I'll preface to note that it was a holiday weekend and they were definitely short-staffed, but it doesn't excuse the cleanliness or quality. There were only a total of 3 workers (including a little boy). When I ordered at the counter, there was ALOT of cussing under their breath because they seemed super stressed and disorganized. The boy even asked the cook (who I believe was his mom?) "Is this the fish & chips?" before delivering it. Unfortunately, when my sister opened her food container, there was a human hair sitting on the burger/fries. The fish & chips were expensive for what you get, and were somewhat rubbery and bland. The clam chowder was very watery with little bits of clam. More soup-like than real chowder. We also waited over an hour to receive our food. If we were told the wait time, we would have definitely chosen a different place. I know they have good intentions for this to be successful, but quality, organization, and cleanliness was severely lacking. Staff was at least kind to customers, but customers shouldn't see or hear the chaos of being unprepared and disorganized. TLDR: Very disorganized, profanity muttered in front of customers (not at them, just to themselves bc stress), and there was a hair in my sister's burger. Over an hour wait for our food, Clam chowder is like clam soup, and fish & chips are not worth it. Try a different place or simply another food joint outside of Port Orford because reviews seem to be hyper-inflated here.

The vibe is exactly what you expect from a awesome little Irish pub. Lots of beer artwork on the walls, cool little tree of life art, and the friendliest staff you'll ever find. The bartender Holly was the most friendly bartender I've had in I feel like a decade or more, and the bar back Josh was pretty awesome himself. He gave us some wonderful tips for some other places to eat at as we travel around the state, and all in all both of them gave us some pretty epic conversation. We almost never said at the bar, we decided to this time and I'm so glad that we did! The food was so so, nothing to really write home about but nothing really wrong either. It's bar food, you get what you expect when you go to an Irish pub. Taco Tuesday was well worth it, I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish taco and then tried their awesome potato taco and enjoyed the potato taco the most actually! I wouldn't pay what they normally charge for these tacos, they're pretty basic and the tortillas are not grilled nearly enough, but Taco Tuesday made three tacos only $10.50 and I could mix and match between all the different types so that was totally worth it! My wife tried the honey mustard chicken salad and unfortunately it did not live up to what she had hoped for. It was a really basic salad the veggies were fresh which was fortunate but it was basic, nothing was really seasoned, the honey mustard dressing didn't taste like mustard at all and the chicken was basic breaded chicken that tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. It was fresh, but still tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. All In all, the drinks and the bartender will definitely keep us coming back. Next time it'll just be for some drinks and some fries probably, but I definitely can't wait to try the steamer clams with jalapenos.

The place was super busy when I arrived there were people waiting outside, which is always a good sign but since I was dining solo, I got seated right away with no wait at all. The atmosphere inside is warm, cozy, and welcoming, with really cool décor featuring cars and car photos that give the restaurant personality and a fun, nostalgic vibe. It feels comfortable rather than fancy, the kind of place where you can relax, sip your coffee, and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. I ordered the shrimp and Swiss cheese omelette with jalapeño, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The portion was generous, and it came out piping hot and surprisingly fast considering how busy they were. The coffee was amazing too rich, fresh, and exactly what you want with a hearty breakfast. What really stood out was the service. The servers were attentive, friendly, and on top of everything despite the crowd. They made sure coffee stayed filled, checked in at the right moments, and kept things moving smoothly without making it feel rushed or chaotic. Another big plus: the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. It's rare to find a place that balances great food, fast service, cozy ambiance, and affordability this well. Overall, I'd easily rate it around 4.5 stars. If you're driving along Highway 101 or anywhere near Brookings, this spot is absolutely worth the stop. It's busy for a reason great food, great vibe, and great service all in one place.

For context, I've been a waitress on the coast for nearly 10 years, so I'm usually very mindful of not making a server's job harder, but this felt different. When we ordered, she came across as genuinely annoyed. Did she check on things like coffee? Yes, but with a look of annoyance that made the whole interaction uncomfortable. The food itself was mediocre at best. The gravy was meh, though the chicken fried steak was decent. The "hash browns," however, were not traditional hash browns, they were more like oven roasted potatoes smashed on the grill, which was disappointing if you're expecting the classic version. The pricing was another surprise. I work at a higher end restaurant, and their brunch prices are comparable to what we paid here, which says a lot, considering this is supposed to be a basic diner experience. When our food was dropped off, we were told the toast would be "just a minute." No problem, but when it finally arrived, it was completely cold, with unmelted "butter" that had little to no flavor. And as someone who grew up eating margarine and then transitioning to butter, I knew that this was margarine. My boyfriend who has never had margarine didn't understand why his butter didn't "taste like anything". Also worth noting, my partner ordered a side of sausage links, four small links for $9, yup your read that right, $9 dollars for a side of sausage. Overall, the service felt hostile with a fake mask, the food was mediocre, and the pricing didn't match the experience. As a person who was raised here on the coast and thought to "experience double d's diner again" since it has been a few years, I won't be returning.
