This is as authentic as it can get. I am Cuban so I grew up eating this food and when I tell you it beats all the restaurants in Kendall, Miami I am not joking!! Their food is great and seasoned to perfection. The rice is soft and flavorful, the meat is always perfect with little to no fat and my favorite is the yuca. Did I mention the plates cost between $7-$11??? It's crazy how much food they give you for the prices. If you are looking for a spot with delicious authentic food that isn't processed and filled with fake ingredients, this is it. Highly recommended and I know once you go you'll see what I mean. The yellow rice was nothing special. But it wasn't dry. Plantains were, again, ok. And the black beans had nice seasoning. All served on a Dixie paper plate with plastic utensils. Quick and efficient. There is plenty of seating, all in an open dining area. No privacy. And it's okay if you bring your mail or a package to be shipped.
