Great good, serving sizes and service for a family lunch before hitting the beach. Outdoor bar is great.

This place was nasty! place is smaller that chicken coop. Sat and saw two tables never get bussed for the 30 minutes me and my family sat there. Along with someone's left over food under the table we got sat at. We ordered chicken tenders that were rubbery along with coconut shrimp and stuffed jalapeños which all tasted frozen and horrible also looked it as well. Thank god i had a gift card so I did not have to spend my own money on this place. Do not recommend so many other places on the water considering this is off the main road with no view. read more

I'm so glad we decided to stop by this place. It was a great vibe grabbing drinks under the Tiki hut. Plus the food was totally delicious! Really great value for the quality of food. I loved the fried mushrooms with their homemade dipping sauce. Such great flavor and it was perfectly fried. Also the scallops were phenomenal. They claim their burgers are humongous and they are. If you're looking for a nice thin paddy with that flat top crisp then this burger is for you. It comes with lettuce tomato and onions with mayonnaise on the side (thank goodness). I got the fries and they were hot and crispy. I couldn't eat the whole thing and I knew it as soon as I saw it. My wife isn't a big beef fan but she said she would make an attempt at that big a$$ burger. read more

Been going to 776 for over 10 years for both dine in and takeout. Wonderful food and very generous servings. Never had a bad customer experience. I do not think their prices have increased nearly as much as so many other restaurants have done in the past year. read more

This is really a hidden gem! I know many said don't let the exterior scare you away. Our service and food were amazing. The portion sizes are HUGE. My son's burger was as big if not bigger than his head. My grouper sandwich was flaky on a soft bun. The shrimps day scallops were delicious too. All 3 of my kids loved it! read more

Had dinner here last night, we were greeted very nicely and seated once we got there. Our Waitress had a great personality and was fun to talk with, she guess right away that I was from Boston, not because of my accent, more about my comments made to her. As for the food, my wife had pan seared scallops and I have the fried fish with scallops. The food arrived at our table very fast, it was hot and the quantity of food was enormous. my wife finished her meal but I could not get thru the 3 pieces of fish and 5 scallops. Fish tasted bad, no air conditioning inside so it's super hot to try n eat your food in there. Everything's fried and they don't change there oil. Will avoid this place. We don't live far, so were excited to try Cafe 776. Decided to stop in for lunch. The portions were generous, but the food was terrible.Both times!! I had salmon, which was still cold in the middle. Sent it back and it returned not much better. The next visit, I tried the Cod. Still not good. Fries awful. My husband had a decent Burger which he said weren't bad, but he can count places within a short distance he can get one that's better. Service was ok. The exterior is misleading. The restaurant itself is in dire need of repair pre-Ian and now smells like mildew. Walked out of the restroom which was bordering on neglect. read more

Good food at a great price. But the inside is a left over from the 70's. I heard they renovated. Does anyone know if it looks any better? They do have a beautiful Tiki bar with tables but they will not serve food there. Would rate this 1 star. Three of went for lunch since it was local thought it would be a good place to try out. The fish platter looked the fish was pretty good, it also came with fries the fried over fried even for frozen fries. The Reuben open face sandwich was very dry and didnt have any mustard or dressing. The French onion soup was really terrible, there was alot of oil floating on top and yes I know cheese will add oil but not that much. Now my order Grilled Chicken sandwich... I was given the fried chicken sandwich, so the waitress took it back to have it remade. Well that took 15 - 29 minutes if not longer. Well finally got my sandwich when the others were done eating. It was not worth with for. Then on trip advisor it list wine for $3.50... The house wine is $5.00 a glass. When all of this was brought up to the waitress there was a excuses for everything. You would have thought they would have at least honored the wine pricing it was house wine. And when you first come in it smells greasy not the cleanest place. Loved the battered jumbo shrimp!! Moved to the area a few months ago and have been looking for hand battered dipped shrimp. One of my favorite seafood dishes! I had seen their menu on Yelp and was finally able to order. My dinner ended up being just what I'd been looking for and more! The shrimp were really some of the biggest shrimp I've ever had especially at the price and amount that I received! The service and beverages were wonderful as well! They easily substituted the fries with a baked potato and included coleslaw as well! I would recommend the shrimp to anyone! I look forward to trying more on the menu and stopping in regularly!! read more

I've been going here about 6 years now, always good until now.. I told 3 different people, at 3 different times, in about an hour time span. That the men's room toilet was a mess and needed cleaning up. An hour and 45 minutes later, still a mess.. Disgusting and unacceptable. If the bathroom is kept like this, how is the kitchen kept ??? I had visitors with me and they commented on how dirty the place is.. How could three different people ( 3 women ) just blow this off and not care? Just one of those hidden Gems if you can get in. Busy buy locals everyday .Which speaks Volumes to what they are doing Right! They lost there Gheeky Hut but I'm sure that temporary. Food was excellent. Had the fried shrimp and chips and could not believe the size and quality of the shrimp. No one in our party of 3 could eat all the jumbo shrimp. They were cooked perfectly and very tasty. We also opted for a salad($1) upgrade and it was huge and good. Service was good. Saw several fish and chip meals come out of the kitchen and could not believe the size of the order. Enough for 2-3 people.
