I went to Cafe Bellini for brunch. It's a fairly big space with indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Belgian waffle with berries and a side of bacon. The berries were fresh and the waffles were the perfect texture. The bacon was crispy, just how I enjoy them. It is a good spot for individuals, couples and family/friends groups. read more

This place was AMAZING! Omg the food and ambience were on point!! The service was pretty attentive and friendly. We were a party of 4 and everyone loved their food, I personally got the strawberry waffles and they were SO GOOD, I asked for whipped cream on top and that sealed the deal for me! SO BOMB! This spot was right next to the hotel we stayed at so it was so convenient to just walk there. This is a little restaurant that is with a best western hotel, but I don't believe they are connected. Surprisingly good food and great service. The parking lot is always full, so I finally stopped in. Now I understand why. It's pretty large, so don't worry about the full parking lot. The service was really great- we came for the happy hour ( 3-6 pm) and our waitress was perfect. We ordered the sliders- 3 for $8- great value, fries, short rib sandwich ( we shared and the chef split it on separate plates for us). The sandwich was tasty, fries were great. The cocktails we had were ok. The ambiance is remodeled diner. The food is "elevated" diner food- so if you go expecting that- you will be very happy. We stopped on our drive through town but aren't in Petaluma that often, and don't expect to go back. read more

Come here from brunch, come for dinner. You're going to leave happy with a full belly! Wonderful service, great food. Every time I come to Cafe Bellini I try a new dish. This time it was Fried Chicken. They state on the menu "allow 20 minutes cook time". Idk about you but when I'm hungry...20 minutes is 19 minutes too long to a case of the hangries. SO. GLAD. I. WAITED. Damn good! And honestly, too much food for me but ‍ take it to go right!? Go for brunch. Bring your friends! Great for groups, nice indoor and outdoor space. Large, airy, pleasantly appointed dining room. Unremarkable, impersonal but fully adequate service. Really good food. My drink, bastard cousin to a mimosa, was a Mermaid something-or-other and a chemical-y tasting misfire, but I think I just ordered wrong: I may not be a Prosecco person. Wife and I shared dishes; both enjoyed both. We'll be back, and next time I will order a drink befitting my immense dignity and refinement. Very disappointing lunch with 2 friends and we all agreed. We will not return to Bellini. This place is similar to a Denny's, with low quality but generous portions of food. The corned beef hash tasted like it was a cheap version out of a can. The booth we sat at felt plasticky and low quality. The service was okay, but not great. This is truly the best place I have been in so long. Food is amazing, services is amazing, prices are super fair, ambiance is incredible! They even have a bar! I will definitely be a repeat customer. I have sat outside a few times now for brunch. Service has been fantastic every time. The Caprese eggs Benedict what is delightful. My eggs were perfectly cooked and still runny in the middle, just the way I like it. My only complaint is that I wanted more of the country potatoes. I look forward to coming again. read more

After going to Petaluma Kaiser for an appointment, we enjoyed brunch at Cafe Bellini. They have a huge breakfast/lunch menu. I enjoyed their Chilaquiles and my wife enjoyed their huge burrito. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. Our server was friendly and funny as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any meal. read more

Definitely not the worst restaurant in Petaluma, but I'd argue it's far from a standout. Food is fine, but overpriced for the portions and flavors. Atmosphere and vibe are standard for a cafe, and the service was fine, though it wasn't very busy at the time I went. To keep it short; it's not a terrible place by any means but I'd consider it decidedly average. read more

A 95th birthday celebration for Zita and it was a wonderful day. I have to say that Ashley was on top of her game. Absolutely amazing! We had a family hiccup or two and she just rolled with it and never missed a beat!! Food came out correct / on time and hot as well. I came here on a Saturday for an early lunch along with 6 others all of whom had breakfast. My food arrived a good 10 minutes after everyone else's due to a mix up. I work in a restaurant, and I'm totally understanding that this happens. Since there were 6 others it was more awkward than it might have been. It's all in how you treat such a mistake. They did comp my drink, the apology was fine though it didn't feel entirely sincere. There is nothing particularly positive or negative about other features, such as ambiance, decor, friendliness, etc. The location is far from as scenic as one would hope from this level of establishment. My smokehouse bbq burger had a lot of flavor but it was kinda ruined by a bun that fell apart (the bottom part) not even halfway through the consumption. read more

My husband & I stopped by here today. The restaurant has changed hands a few times and today was the best it's ever been! I had the Caprese Benedict. The best Benedict of my life. The poached eggs were perfect! The English muffin was large & so tasty. Lots of fresh cooked spinach too. I am impressed. My husband had the French toast & eggs & sausage. His was delicious too. This a a little late post but we came here for dinner after a wedding rehearsal. Honestly, I came in being a bit naive and thinking that the food was going to be mediocre at best. Boy was I wrong lol. Everything was amazing, from the salads to the drinks. But most importantly, dinner was the spotlight. We had the salmon dinner as well as the steak, the flavors on both dishes were excellent. The lemon sauce that came with the salmon, kisses to the chef. So glad the line at Langunitas tap room was so long, so we ended up at Cafe Bellinis instead...the service and food were excellent! After four days of seafood at Bodega, we were hankering for land food, lol! My short rib grilled cheese absolutely hit the spot! The sweet potato fries with crisp and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly & fast. My husband's prime rib dip was bland (the au jus was not- so yummy had to sample it with my sandwich) His could have used a little horseradish goodness. My picky eater enjoyed her Chinese chicken salad. The flight was good, but not what I think of when you say Bellini (I expect a cool, refreshing slushy). More of a mimosa flight (just proseco with different juices). I would totally come back here...their Creme brulee French toast looks delish! read more

In all fairness, someone ordered for me. Most friends KNOW after I educate them that tri-tip = CRAP. Pitmasters I've worked with run away from it like the plague. It's why you never see it on a QUALITY BBQ joint's menu. Bellini's BBQ Tri-Tip Sliders only reinforce this fact. Their description IS accurate: tri-tip with barbecue sauce -- it's just that: shoe leather with some super sweet sauce. Now, would I be willing to go there and give them another shot with some of their other food? Sure! read more

Such a great brunch spot. I was impressed with the variety of options, it was hard to choose. But I ended up with the orange ricotta pancakes, they were very good. We passed this place a bunch of times and finally were able to stop for breakfast. We were hiking after so no cocktails but the drink menu looked great. The restaurant is clean and decorated so cute. The service was very friendly and we were waiting on very quickly. I got the chilichilles (sp?) and they were awesome. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. When back in Petaluma we will definitely be back. read more

The food was so flavorful. They had multiple vegetarian options that were savory. They had sweets like pancakes and waffles too. I got a scramble without egg. The portion was huge, saved the rest for breakfast the next day. My only complaint would be the coffee. The Cafe does not have lattes or espresso. The coffee they did serve tasted weak. First time ever coming here and I could say I definitely enjoyed the food and experience. I ordered the tri-tip dip with fries for lunch and the flavor and texture of the sandwich was great. The Au Jus that came along with the sandwich wasn't salty to me like some other places so I easily used most of it to enhance the flavor of the food. With a good serving size of fries I was for sure full going back into work. The workers that took care of my co-workers and I were welcoming, friendly and attentive. I'm going to have to go back to try more things on the menu, but for now I'm impressed and I recommend stopping by here if something on the menu catches your eye. read more

Well, well, well, if it isn't Cafe Bellini, the cozy brunch spot that's sure to cure any case of the hangover blues. This place has got it all: from moroccan eggs that'll spice up your life to chicken fried steak that's not even chicken (who would have thought?!). When we arrived we were seated immediately and the wait staff was quite friendly. I ordered a classic Bloody Mary to compliment their Reuben Sandwich on Rye, my all time favorite combination.... The crab cake Benedict was decent, but the poached egg wasn't runny as expected, and the side of soft-scrambled eggs were not soft at all. However, my husband was impressed with the homemade English muffin that the benedict was served on. Also, the cinnamon pancakes were delightful! The service was not exceptional, but it was effective. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place again, but if I worked nearby, it would be one of my favorites. I absolutely love this place! Daphne was our server, and she was so sweet and attentive. Initially, I was a bit hesitant about having a younger server for my family, but she completely exceeded my expectations! She was funny, engaging, and really knew the menu inside and out. The buffet isn't huge but you get all the essentials: French Toast, scrambled eggs, bacon (and it was crispy, not like most restaurants where it doesn't even look cooked), sausages, fruits, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, pastries, toast, bagels, etc. You also got coffee, tea, water, milk, juice, etc., or a mimosa and so we opted for the mimosa as our drink. The food was good, and like I said it's not a huge buffet but it's decent. The service by Barbara was great and the place was pleasant.
