To update my previous review, Cafe Bravo is all about their kabobs. Sevan Chicken is really good too but they are all about their Armenian rotisserie chicken. Two different things :) I really like Cafe Bravo's chicken kabob and beef kabob plates. Their meat is usually tender and juicy. Rice buttery. Side orders of tabbouleh, hummus and grilled tomato and peppers are really good also. Dont forget to order a side of garlic sauce. Its pretty fast but for a faster pick up, call in your order. I havent dined in but their counter service is usually pretty friendly and helpful. There is a tiny parking lot next to KFC or street parking. read more

Everything is good here! I usually get a chicken kabob plate - can't go wrong with this. They also do catering - I used to order for a large call center of 300 people, and they delivered promptly; no complaints on their service! Absolutely delicious! Big portions of flavorful balsami rice, fresh sides & juicy tender kebobs. The service is nothing short of amazing. They even double checked our order before giving our boxes to us because we had made some special requests. Beef Steak Kebobs -- tender, juicy and full of flavor. Cooked just right so the meat was not tough. Chicken Breast Kebobs -- large chicken breast pieces. The meat was not dry and the breasts were very flavorful. This place is busy whenever I get food. I've been to Cafe Bravo many times over the last year or two when I'm in town visiting my parents. The food is consistently good and the price is great for how much food that you get. I most recently was there for lunch a day or two before Christmas last year and the number of pre-orders was huge. Cafe Bravo! I have had the pleasure of eating at this facility for over 8 years now, and no I'm not Armenian. The food flavor is always the same, nothing changes. It is Delish!!! I don't go there every week and sometimes I let a few months pass by, but there is that day where the flavor yearning will attack my taste buds and I must taste the Kabob. The line is long if you go right at lunch time, it's out the door. I'm a meat eater. I have tried the chicken breast, the lamb, the beef and the Cornish hen.....my favorite is still the chicken breast plate with a side of ikra and yogurt. If you are ever in Glendale, give this place a try, I have ALWAYS ordered in advance, phoned in my order and it has ALWAYS been correct. This saves you from waiting in line a good 15 minutes. Overall the experience is of what you would get when you have to eat and run, if you want to have a great dining experience, go to the Hilton Brunch! The meat selection itself earns this place a 5/5 in my book, but an eatery of this caliber to serve everything BUT falafel? Just doesn't make sense. I can understand if they don't want to be deep frying in the small kitchen-area, but I digress. Cafe Bravo offers indoor and outdoor seating, accepts credit cards, and has a decently priced menu. The chicken and lamb are cooked to be tender and juicy. The steak was a bit dry on the outside, but still retained some tenderness on the inside. Rice is plain, can be seasoned with seasoning. Sides consist of everything that's not rice or meat. Hummus, spinach yogurt, and tabouleh, salad. They also charge extra for garlic sauce. I mean come on, Zankou's doesn't charge for garlic sauce. Oh my loard the food is good here! I love buying a-la carte here it is so cheap for what you are getting. I am a Armo so I like great food but hate paying out my ass for it. The Hubs and I had been in the mood for kabobs for a while. We originally planned on trying Zankou put the parking lot was full so we just kept driving. We came upon this lovely establishment. It's small with a small outdoor patio with seemed nice on a night like tonight, The cashier took our order and gave us a number which wasnt necessary since he brought our food to our table. That was nice. The portions are huge for not huge prices - which is amazing. But price has nothing to do with it if the food isn't good. It was. This place is great! My family comes here often and it's a pretty solid place to get your fix of kabobs. There are a lot of options for kabobs in this area and I haven't tried all of them to be able to put into perspective how good this place is in comparison, but I personally enjoy it :) Service is good and fast and food here has never let me down. First time here. I have heard they have been here for many years. Recently they expanded and now have a nice new clean establishment. Service was good. The steak was done just right (not dry and tasteless). The portions were just right, for the one pita that comes w/meal. We came in 45 mins before they were closing... They were busy but, that didn't hinder the arrival of our food in a timely manner. Quite a few people walked right after us for take-out orders. It's a great take-out food for any event. Been here twice and excited to come back! I'm a big lover of Mediterranean and thus have some high standards. It's a busy busy place, filled with a diverse crowd. There seem to be many locals and a family feel despite the crowd. Delish meats and I love how many side options they give. Food is delicious here. I live right by it and don't go as often as I would like to, because I would seriously gain 100lbs if I ate rice every day. But if that wasn't a factor, I would total go here all the time! The rice is really good and the HUMMUS IS AMAZING. I am usually picky with hummus, but for some reason I really like this one. The garlic spread they have is mine and my mom's favorite! It makes the food taste even better. I usually get the chicken breast plate, with rice, hummus, and armenian pickles. The beef is good too, though I don't ever get it. The guy who is usually the cashier is really friendly and has given us free drinks every now and then. He's easy to make conversation with. The only thing about this place, is that you can't go in and out unless you have ordered on the phone ahead of time. Even then, sometimes you end up waiting for a while for your food. The food is made right in front of you, so at least you know that is why it takes long. But this place gets a lot of big orders and that delays your order all that time. TL;DR: Food is solid, there is a parking lot, you order at the counter, and service is fast. Parking is either on the street or there is a lot near the establishment. I'm not quite sure if it is meant for just Cafe Bravo, but if you go at night, the surrounding stores are closed, so you should be good to go. The food is completely solid and completely affordable. Their portions are generous and their prices slim. I tend to stick with the chicken breast kabob as it tends to be tasty and tender. I'll accompany that with some hummus and grape leaves and I have a meal that is big enough to share (i.e. if you're looking to feel OK, one plate is enough). I've never seen them filled to the brim, so this is good for one of those places where you won't really have to wait too long to either sit or get your food. Also, Cafe Bravo is one of those order at the counter type places, so you won't be spending much time waiting to get seated or waiting to get your food. It is good for getting in and out! read more

This place is so good. Well, to be honest, I've only tried the chicken breast kabobs. They serve it with rice (a lot of rice if you order it to go) a slice of pita bread and 2 sides of your choosing. I like the cucumber greek yogurt salad. It's amazing creamy-cheesy goodness :) The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The staff works pretty quckly and the place gets packed during lunch. One thing that's kind of annoying is that they charge extra for an extra pita bread. Understanble. But it's not okay to charge one customer in the party extra and then give some, if not all, of the party 2 pita breads at no extra charge. This happens everytime we go. I've been twice and ordered the chicken kabob plate for $6.75 which comes with chicken kabob, basmati rice, and your choice of 2 sides and pita. I always get the hummus and spinach yogurt dip which are great sides! Their other side salads are "okay." Eat in or take out but keep in mind this isn't the nicest of places. I love their Lamb Kabobs! The plates are a bit big and I hardly put a dent in it so my BF and I split it and get extra pita bread on the side. It's the only thing I've tried but the lamb is very tasty and the hummus and tabouleh is pretty good. Parking is shared with KFC so it's small. read more

Chicken Kabob-The chicken was cooked perfect. It was moist tender and juicy.However, it could have used some better seasonings.There was very generous portions of chicken given with the meal. Best kebab I've tasted. Not dry or oily. Just in between which is perfect for me. I don't know much about the menu since I rarely go to a kebab place for food. My boss wanted to treated me and took me here, helped me order and I had the beef kebab. The guy who was taking our order was also helping me decide by describing the taste of the beef ( I still don't know what it's called). They're busy and popular I guess, that's why they forgot to give us the side orders, even though it's been ready. Good thing my boss realized lol. The guy who worked there offered garlic sauce at the beginning but I wasn't aware of how delicious it taste so I said one is enough. Later I wanted to ask for one and it's 50 cents. Regret? Totally. Should have gotten 3 garlic sauce for free and I only took one. I'll come back and study the menu and try out their other kebabs.. with more people so I can just share my plate instead of taking my left overs to go (their portions are pretty big for me). I ordered for pick-up and tried this place for the first time after seeing that it got close to 400 reviews. I got curious since it was in my neighborhood and would love to find a affordable, nearby Mediterranean place to go to regularly. I got two combination plates with two beef skewers, and the other chicken and pork skewers. The sides I got shirazi salads and hummus. Their hummus is amazing, I loved it and couldn't get enough of it. I overate the pita bread just to keep eating the hummus! All the kabobs were good except for the pork. I expected the pork to be quite tender since I presumed that it would contain the most fat, but it was very lean and cooked well done, making it very tough. My family finished everything else but the pork. I liked the way they cooked their rice too. I like my rice not too overcooked and soft, cooking it so that it has some firm texture. The rice was exactly the way I wanted. The service is good, nothing bad. I called ten minutes after making my order to alter it because I had no cellphone service where I live and had to make the call when I drove down from the mountains. The server graciously accepted my request to change one of the three beef kebabs to pork, and I had no other problems with this place.
