I really wanted to like this place because I genuinely enjoy supporting small local coffee shops over big chains. Unfortunately, my first experience here left me pretty disappointed. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and at first the employee said yes. Then he looked confused about how to enter it into the system and asked another employee for help. She responded to me in a pretty snappy tone saying, "We are not Starbucks, we don't have caramel macchiato." Honestly, I was caught off guard. I've never had a small coffee shop respond like that before. I politely mentioned that a macchiato is a pretty standard coffee drink that most coffee shops can usually make in some form. She just shrugged and repeated, "We are not Starbucks, only what's on the menu. We can do a caramel latte." So I settled for the iced caramel latte instead. The whole interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable, almost like they were trying to close up and get customers out as quickly as possible. As I was picking up my last drink, there was another customer sitting on her laptop and I overheard the female employee repeatedly saying "we are closed now" to her in a pretty unwelcoming tone. To me, it came across like she was trying to push the customer out rather than handling it professionally. I completely understand businesses closing for the night, but there are much more courteous ways to communicate that than shouting it from behind the counter. As for the drinks themselves, the cold brew looked extremely watered down -- honestly more like iced tea than cold brew coffee. The iced caramel latte was just average and nothing memorable. I completely understand that every coffee shop has its own menu and style, and that's perfectly fine. But customer service and how you communicate with customers matters just as much as the drinks. Sadly, this first visit didn't leave me wanting to come back.

Cute coffee shop by my office! This is the former Starbucks location that closed and we are so happy to have a locally owned coffee shop instead. We got a matcha, latte, and a cappuccino, which were all very good! They have a unique menu with specialty lattes I'm excited to try. There is a kiosk to self order or you can order with an employee who is super kind and willing to answer your questions! Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Good coffee. Glad to see some more Mexican representation in the Silicon Valley coffee game (outside of Con Azúcar, which is too gimmicky for my liking). Their café de olla was on point. They have so many drinks I want to try, I will definitely come back for that and also looking forward to purchasing their coffee beans. Good stuff, quick service, clean and efficient, not too many frills.

Love the coffee here! I switch between banana matcha latte oat and iced la espanola oat. Minus a star because a few times i had to wait over 30 minutes for my drinks

I so wanted to like this place as it is in same complex where I work. This was old Starbucks place. I waited to write the review after trying it second time to be sure. First off I wish the menu had detail info about the coffee/latte, when not obvious by its name. Although presentation was pretty just not my cup of coffee. Giving holler to the baristas though as they are friendly.

Loved the interior, staff was very friendly and welcoming. My husband got an horchata latte regular sweet and I got the café bombón. Both were really good and we ended up mixing both drinks. Would definitely recommend, they have a nice outdoor area too where you can sit with your pup.

Coffee was good! I got it lightly sweet and it was perfect. Love all the different options. Will be back!

It is located inside of Joyheart Cafe and has free WiFi. The employees were so friendly and explained the seating situation. I ordered the Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte and my friend got the Strawberry Matcha Latte. The drinks were served in medium size glasses with glass straws as part of their commitment to no plastic. They also import and sell one of my favorite Japanese matcha brands so that alone as me eager to return. The drinks were very refreshing and the cute cat themed stickers were a big hit with my broader family. I definitely recommend it if you are in the broader area.

Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

Depending on the time, it can get quite crowded. I came in around 9:30am and by the time I got to checkout, the baristas ran out of dine-in mugs. Which is why I opted for an iced americano. It had a nice creama layer and a well balanced flavor. Not too acidic or bitter. I got the french onion soup, labeled as a popular item/staple of the bakery. It is quite a lot of soup, I wish it came with a side of bread/sourdough as towards the end it was all soup and nothing to contrast it. It was nicely broiled at the top with some small pieces of bread and a healthy layer of cheese that made it so exciting to eat. Even the crust of the bread had some crunch although fully soaked. The bakery has wifi which is really handy since I think reception in that area wasn't the best. Wifi password is displayed at the register. I will come back to try the sandwiches!
