Café Con Leche Con Amor is near the San Jose Airport so we stopped in when we arrived in the city to have coffee and some lunch, and we enjoyed it so much that we came back and ate there prior to our departure a few days later. The inside is modern with clean style lines. It is very inviting once you step inside the doors. They serve a wonderful robust coffee at Cafe Con Leche Con Amor. They boast their coffee is roasted in small batches, which can explain its rich fresh flavor. I enjoyed a latte the first time in which was creamy and delicious with a deep nutty flavor. When we came back I had a cortado which was a pleasing jolt of espresso. Exactly what I needed at that point. While it is a coffee shop I have to say that the food we had was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich. The croissant is light and buttery while the egg and bacon were cooked perfectly. It was mouthwatering. My wife opted for their avocado toast. You can get it in more of a standard format or they can add loxs if you want some protein. It too is absolutely delicious on wonderful sourdough bread. They really know how to blend the flavors on their avocado toast. If you are in the area and looking for coffee and a snack. Café Con Leche Con Amor is a must. Came here for a quick bite with my boyfriend and daughter as we were in the area. Its not a very hard place to find; the area it is in contains a burger spot and an outdoor eating area that looks very relaxing with quite a bit of seating area both in the shade and in the sun. Inside the cafe is really clean with nice latin music playing in the background with a some seats and tables to dine in. We were greeted warmly as we walked through the door which was nice. There are not as many food items on the menu compared to the drinks, but my boyfriend and i decided to go with the Lox Avocado Toast, a Cafe Con Leche Latte, and a White Chocolate Frappuccino. My daughter wanted a Strawberry smoothie, however they were unable to make any smoothies at the time which was a bummer. We didnt have to wait too long for our order to come out which was great, and all our food items tasted really good. I really like the addition of the capers to the toast, and the amount of avocado and lox to the toast was just right. My Frappuccino didnt taste artificial and was blended well, and my boyfriend's latte had just of milk to it. When we finished, we werent entirely sure where to put the plates that our toast were on, so we left them on the counter. Overall, our visit was good. I do wish that they had a bit more food options which is my only complaint. Other than that, our overall dining experience was a pleasant one. Really wanted to love this place! The outside patio is covered by purple flowers and the inside is so light and bright. Service was friendly and helpful. However, the drink I ordered wasn't my style. I ordered a banana matcha crema latte. I was hoping to have oat milk, but they didn't have any. I think this drink could be pretty good with some modifications. The matcha foam was quite tasty, but the drink tasted very artificial due to the Torani banana syrup and it was pretty sweet. Maybe next time I will just try a regular matcha latte because they hand-whisk. They are pet-friendly! read more

This place is gorgeous! Its honestly a hidden coffee shop as you enter the parking lot it is not visible at all. You would need to look for the pizza shop if you want to park close and then look for the water fountain to find the shop! The wide variety of their menu and unique flavors compared to other coffee shops is so refreshing to see. To be able to try new flavors your not used to and them making it taste great! I fell in love with the modern dark ambiance they have inside, not too flashy. I also love the exclusivity vibes it gives as it is not very busy as your local starbucks of course. I had their iced dulce de coco and my brother had the iced mayan mocha ! I love how they do actually have more than 1 size of a cup for you to choose from, small - medium - large. This location is convenient and apparently was a former Starbuck's cafe. It's clean, modern vibe with a few indoor and lots of outdoor seating. It's a cafe that definitely is for the surrounding business complex and for those making a quick stop and go from the San Jose airport. This joint has spacious and relaxing seating areas. Cafe bonbon paired well with the turkey beacon crossante. Thick cut of turkey was not too dry which was good. Whoever is the owner needs to step it up and figure staffing out. Last few times I came here in March-May, most employees were very patient and kind. There's a snappy short female dressed like Wednesday who I think is the manager for whatever reason, giving attitude because I asked her if I could do the matcha crema with less sweetener in the crema. In the past when I've come here, she's always had a flat face with no expression or no willingness to talk to customers but this time was just unacceptable. I understand business batch things up but there should've been a more professional way to explain that instead of giving attitude and being stingy and rude about it. I was really excited to try this place because some friends had posted their coffees from the Hollister location, so once I heard they opened one in town I couldn't wait to check it out. The inside has a very simple, clean aesthetic with lots of blacks and greys, and a little greenery sprinkled throughout. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away. I really wanted to like this place because I genuinely enjoy supporting small local coffee shops over big chains. Unfortunately, my first experience here left me pretty disappointed. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and at first the employee said yes. Then he looked confused about how to enter it into the system and asked another employee for help. She responded to me in a pretty snappy tone saying, "We are not Starbucks, we don't have caramel macchiato." Honestly, I was caught off guard. I've never had a small coffee shop respond like that before. I politely mentioned that a macchiato is a pretty standard coffee drink that most coffee shops can usually make in some form. She just shrugged and repeated, "We are not Starbucks, only what's on the menu. We can do a caramel latte." So I settled for the iced caramel latte instead. The whole interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable, almost like they were trying to close up and get customers out as quickly as possible. As I was picking up my last drink, there was another customer sitting on her laptop and I overheard the female employee repeatedly saying "we are closed now" to her in a pretty unwelcoming tone. To me, it came across like she was trying to push the customer out rather than handling it professionally. I completely understand businesses closing for the night, but there are much more courteous ways to communicate that than shouting it from behind the counter. As for the drinks themselves, the cold brew looked extremely watered down -- honestly more like iced tea than cold brew coffee. The iced caramel latte was just average and nothing memorable. I completely understand that every coffee shop has its own menu and style, and that's perfectly fine. But customer service and how you communicate with customers matters just as much as the drinks. I came across this coffee shop through a Google search and was surprised by the location. I would've expected the location to be in a more well known shopping center, however parking was easy on a weekend so not complaining about that. There were a few people sitting inside - they do have tables indoors so you can enjoy your coffee and food. I got an iced flan de leche latte and the egg, cheese, bacon croissant. The iced latte was reasonably priced - medium size for $6.50 and the sandwich for $12.50. I do wish their syrups were made in house to distinguish them from other coffee shops but it looks like most syrups are torani and other premade syrups which is a bummer. I discovered this place right in the beginning of summer. I absolutely love that they have skim milk as a milk option. It's a small cafe on technology drive and I believe it use to be a Starbucks. There is a kiosk to order but the girls are there and they will ask if you need help. There is always someone designated to food and drinks only and they work on orders as they receive them. I was waiting for my drink and several customers would ask for their drinks and tried to order drinks that are not on the menu. In that small amount of time, I felt for the girls working behind the counter. In my opinion there needs to be more than just two people working at a time. I've also gone in at 3pm (they close at 4) and there is only one person working, she's alone and doing her best to have patience and be pleasant. The owner should be there if he doesn't have enough employees to cover shifts. I would hate to see this small cafe go out of business because people are waiting too long for their items. read more
