Food was excellent!! Pernil was delicious and tasty! Rice and beans were also amazing and the sweet plantains were a hit! Never been here before but I will definitely visit again! The service was friendly, quick and perfect. The ambiance is also great! Very clean and well decorated! Great spot so glad I stopped in!

If you want a taste of Puerto Rico Cafe Con Leche is your place. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a mufungo with chicken and it was nice and moist not dry like others I've had. The stuffed avacado with creamy garlic sauce over chicken with white rice was incredible. Also ordered the sautéed chicken with peppers and onions with piegion pea rice another gem. The two pork chops with white rice and pink beans, excellent and pernil with a rice we have never had but was delicious arroz mamposteao . Also couldn't forget the tostones and Maduros and Yuka fries. We shared all around to try everything and it was a great experience. We celebrated my son's birthday and they all sang to him with the dessert we ordered Coquito Tres Leches Delux finishes off a great meal with a sweet taste we shared. Highly recommend.

Tried our Cafe Con Leche today for the first time. My family and I had a wonderful dinner and service was great. Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Staff we encountered were friendly and personable. Looking forward to eating here again. Here's my Passion Fruit Sangria! Cheers!

Thats BS IMHO. Punished foe having a large party and spending more money? No thanks, on principle alone.

3 stars because the food is good. Overpriced, but good food. 2 stars gone for what seems kind of predatory to customers...see the picture.

I love this place. All the food is amazing and just like mama makes. Our waitress, Sophia, was great. She is helpful and super friendly and knowledgeable. My favorites are the alcapurrias and bacalaitos for appetizers. The sancocho was good but it needed more flavor but the carne asada was delicious. I had the mofongo burger and it was really good. The burger was overcooked but all the other stuff on it was good. The coquito espresso martinis are delicious and so is the guava cheesecake. The ambiance is great, I love all the island decorations. I do have to say they're getting pricier each time we go which makes it a little harder to be a regular but it's great when celebrating special occasions.

We met some friends there Saturday evening, all of us have eaten there before and looked forward to dinner. The lower dining room was full and even the upper room was almost full. As always the food was excellently prepared and plated beautifully, The restaurant has a family appeal, you see families with young children enjoying dinner together. I do feel bad for the servers who bring everything up from the kitchen on the first floor, up to the second floor by the staircase.

Came in for Sunday dinner time, everyone was polite and welcoming. Was super excited to come back to try the Churrasco Mofongo and it did not disappoint. My husband got the carve guisada and it was delicious as well. The meat was nice and tender, along with the plátanos and arroz con ondulas. Sophia was on point of making sure we were good and if we needed anything. Great music playing and with this heat it was nice and cool while we enjoyed our meals. Happy we receive the same great service coming here.

As usual, café con Leche does not disappoint. The staff always attentive, and the feel an ambience of the restaurant is always fantastic. Even when it comes down to the bathroom, listening to the sounds of the coqui in the restrooms. I had a big-time favorite, the codfish fritter bacalaoito with El jefe Mezcal and pineapple juice fantastic drink to get the night started. As for an entrée, I had a special Carne cerdo which is fried pork with sautéed onions and Tostones. As well as churrasco with tostones white rice and beans. Truly love coming to this place for the taste of Puerto Rico. It's truly amazing food every time I come.

Love the food at this place. The fish dish always makes me laugh with the presentation, nice and crispy and seasoned welll. The dipping sauce of the calamari is not your traditional marinara and it is heavenly delicious. The rest of the dishes were the family's, they said it was good so I'll take their word for it. Try their pernil and mofongo.

The food did not disappoint and the portion sizes are great. We had the pernil with arroz con gandules and the pernil mofongo. Great service and ambiance.

This was my first time here. I didn't even know it existed! It's right off of Main Street in Wappingers Falls with its own parking lot which is great. We were there for a friend's birthday party. We took up the entire second floor which appears to be a room set up for such occasions. The food was very good, as was the service. I am hoping to make it back there to try the full restaurant experience on the first floor.

Shame on cafe con leche. Not staying behind their food quality. Bad Pasteles. No tefund. No return calls or emails. Good way to loose business. Just lost another customer and will loose more.

Waiter was nice, wasn't sure of menu items (ingredients and how to explain them in the dishes) and so we just went off the menu. We got 4 empanadas (2 chicken and 2 beef - they were good), 3 shrimp mofongos, and 1 chicken chunks with rice and pigeon peas. The price for the mofongo was high but we were like we love this dish so we need to try it. We get a medium sized mound of plantains with the shrimp already inside of it. That's fine BUT with the parts of the shrimp already mashed into it, I didn't even have 3 full compete shrimp, inside or in the side. The sauce that came with it, was oily, thick and not flavorful. The price was too high for the quality and food we got, or lack there of. Not even a side salad or anything to go with it. I left my mofongo because it was too dry and the overpowering of garlic, was too much. The other 2 with my same dish, expressed the same things as me. The chicken chunks dish, he couldn't finish them because they lacked flavor and because the coating looked burnt. However the chicken was tender but had no flavor at all. I tried it and left it on my plate with the mofongo I couldn't finish. Service was great, but food is lacking flavor.

It had perfect ingredients and the perfect proportion of everything. My partner and I shared one. We also got an order of the pernil (roast pork) with rice and beans, and shared that. The pernil was amazing! Tender and flavorful - it's probably one of the best ever! In fact the only Cuban sandwich I ever had that was as good as this one was when I worked in NYC in the 1980's, and I went to a small Cuban restaurant near my office on West 46th street. The rice and beans were great, along with the sauce they give you, which is just spicy enough and flavorful enough to bring every flavor sense front and center. Portions were also big enough that we have leftovers for tomorrow!!! Service was friendly, caring, and with a smile. Loved everything about this place and the warmth of the people who clearly love what they do. Sadly we had no room for dessert, but next time we'll make up for it!
