Had an alright experience. They were playing Bad Bunny's DTMF on repeat (which we loved because that entire album is fire), but the food and drinks leave a lot to be desired. We ordered the Tripleta sandwich which was soooo dry. Like I was worried it would get caught in my esophagus. Then we ordered the Cafe Con Ron drinks and WHEW. It was strong. I couldn't taste any coffee at all. If you told me that was just rum in a cup I would've believed you. Overall, the service was nice, and the ambience is super cool, but this isn't what I would recommend if you're looking for good food and drinks.

Me and my friend was walking the Old San Juan area trying to find a place to just grab something to eat and someone recommended this place and told us what we needed to try. It was some sort of sandwich wrap I think. And it was huge! Thank goodness we shared. We was there during the evening so it was more of a night club lounge environment but it was a fun place. The food was good and our expresso martini was good as well. Def must try. I'm sorry i forgot the name of what we got.

Went there in September, the line to get in was insane, but definitely worth it. The staff was very friendly, the food wasn't bad either. It was a party from the time we got in to the time we left. Must try the Cafe con Ron and the sandwich.

Restaurant was decorated so cute! Food, drinks and vibes were great! Everything came out super quick. I will say we went around 2pm and the service was a lot better at that time than when we came back at 11pm for drinks

Was in PR for the Bad Bunny concert so of course we had to stop in his bar. We came for the cafe con Ron drinks but unfortunately, due to the water shortage, those weren't available. The staff made up for the loss with friendly service and delicious drinks. Our neighbors had some food and kept saying how great everything was. Our cocktails were executed perfectly and before we left we had the obligatory pitorro (hey that's what Benito would have wanted). I loved the decor and total PR vibe. The line was around the block to get in, but they did an amazing job keeping the space comfortable to enjoy your experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu and get my cafe con Ron!

We had a fun little stop at Café con Ron during our trip! The line looked long at first, but we only waited about 20 minutes before getting seated. Inside, the vibe was lively and upbeat--even though the space is small, everyone seemed to be having a great time. We tried their signature Café con Ron (a must!) along with Favorito de mi Ex and some empanadas, which made for a perfect snack. We only stayed about 30 minutes just to experience it, but it was worth it. The only thing that could've made it better would've been a surprise appearance by Bad Bunny!

Last one I promise but I have to cover this place in San Juan. This place is co-owned by Bad Bunny. Let me first say first day not good waited in line outside for 36 minutes get in and they tell bar only kitchen has an issue. Ok so it was drinks this time. Next time we waited outside 1 hour and 20 minutes, and let me tell you I was glad we did. First the drink was deliciously dangerous, strong but goes down so smooth. The EL Bitste and Pan con Lechon was loaded with both flavor and meat. It really hit the stop. This place was very good prices for the food drinks were average.

Well I'd give it 5 stars but there's truthfully it's bothersome that they say they open at 9, but really don't open until 10:30-11. And they don't tell you anything. So the line just keeps getting longer and longer and they're taking their sweet time. And then you come in and the first people in line get the bar while everyone else gets tables which I don't think is very fair. Anyway, I will say service is quick, the coquito coffee was amazing I ended up getting two. We also got the empanadas which were so good. Place itself is very cute just very small. I'm glad we did it but it's definitely overhyped.

Forgot to take pics of food and other drinks. BUT GO TO THIS PLACE. Obviously popular because it's bad bunny's cafe. But overall the empanadas were so delicious I couldn't get enough. They are smaller size for appetizers. They streamed lined the long line so well! We waited maybe 30 mins max. It's good to either go in groups of 2 or 4 for faster seating. Since we were a group of 3 sometimes they'd sit down others before us. We took a standing table but the service was just as good. Our server was super friendly and attentive. He accommodated my coffee drink and added rum to it ( vacation mode ok). While making sure we knew about the other substitutes that were offered for drinks. definitely will go back next time I'm in PR.

I went on a Sunday before 4pm and they were out of ALL coffee and some food items. Had the tripleta sandwich with some fresh lemonade. The mini empanadas mix was so good we got 2 orders of them w/ their special sauce. The service was bad. Got the lemonade when I was almost done w/ my food. Went for the Bad Bunny vibes but ppl even left after they were told that they were out of half their menu. Very chill place.

As a bad bunny fan, i had to go to his bar. It was nicely decorated inside and had table seating in the back and bar seating in the front. I first ordered the coco Martinez and was very impressed how well that coquito flavor stood out in the coffee. Before I left, I order the cococchino and again loved it the flavors.

Stopped in for a drink and a small bite to eat and it was fun. Loved the music, and vintage-style decor that's supposedly dedicated to Bad Bunny's latest album.

We came to Puerto Rico for the Bad Bunny concert and so of course we had to stop in at Café con Ron. We got lucky as there was only a little line when we arrived. As time passed that line got very long lol. But I appreciate that once we got inside it did not feel packed or overcrowded. My friend and I were seated at the bar. We could not order the signature drink as this section of old son Juan does not have running water and they can't clean the mixers out to make the drink. They did have other alternatives for us though. I tried the favorito de mi ex. The drink was absolutely delicious. It was fresh not overpower sweet. We enjoyed talking to the bartender people next to us and listening to great music. We couldn't leave without each having a shot of Pitorro de Coco. This actually ended up being the best one I had while on the island and I had quite a few lol. Definitely a part of the experience if you're coming for the Bad Bunny concert, you will enjoy yourself. But get there early so you don't have to wait in line.

AMBIANCE Parking: Old San Juan rules--come early or be ready to walk. Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! TIPS * Try their house coffee if you want the full experience--that's what they're known for.

We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

If you're on Calle San Francisco and the Coach store is to your right, keep walking till you see a yellow chemex sign on your left - that is the entrance to the coffee shop. Once you enter, it's a very tight space at the register and the alley is in the back with a few tables. The only menu I was able to peruse was that on their iPad which was annoying because I felt like I was holding up the line. I ended up ordering a small iced latte. I initially ordered it to enjoy in their alley, so I was told I can pay when I leave. I was there mid September and as much as I wanted to enjoy sipping my latte in the alley, it was super hot and stuffy. They could use some fans. Plus, it was taking forever to have the latte brought to me. As such, I went to the front to let the staff know I'll take it to go only to find him giggling with some friends. I guess that's why it took forever for me to get my drink. The latte itself wasn't bad, but considering the cost and the useless wait time, I would've gladly passed on this coffee shop.

We were welcomed inside where we ordered with an iPad. There were several options for drinks and pastries. The service was incredible; the barista helped us choose drinks and recommended us her favorite pastries. We were then escorted to the beautiful patio in the back, which is completely hidden from view on the street. The drinks were delivered to us in glass cups, and the pastries delivered covered by glass dome lids. The drinks and pastries were all 10/10. I am usually not a an iced coffee drinker, but I savored every sip of my drink. The mango pie and pecan tart were also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Filtrado as a relaxing stop in Viejo San Juan. The service, drink, and ambiance were spectacular and I can confidently say that this is near the top of my cafe list!

I started with a hot latte. It was delicious. Creamy milk and nice coffee flavor. For breakfast, I chose the traditional French toast which came with fruit and a huge dollop of whipped cream and maple syrup on the side. I scooted the whipped cream to the side but enjoyed the cinnamon flavored egg bread with fresh fruit. We asked our server about interesting places to visit while we walked around San Juan. We couldn't choose amongst all the empty tables, because staff were rude and dismissive. AC wasn't working, so we felt the humidity and heat. Ceiling fans weren't cutting it. We got the $25 wagyu burger and $20 Mallorca chicken sandwich, both of which were dry, bland, and underwhelming at best. The burger patty lacked flavor and there was no sauce or any accompaniments besides a very sad, wilted, thin slice of tomato and lettuce leaf. Pretty bad burger! The chicken sandwich was so heavily fried, we almost broke our teeth against the chicken. Insanely salty--we couldn't take more than a few bites. Felt so parched for the rest of the day. Fries were the best part of the meal--so salty and thin.
