I don't have any pictures of this place because it's not an indoor eating kind of establishment, it's a self serve grab and go on a very busy high visibility corner downtown Bath. Easy in and easy out! Perfect for a quick lunch break while at work. I CAN speak to the quality of their food, though! Every recipe for a sandwich or soup, or little side dish, salad is carefully and loving put together with perfect chops, perfect medley of flavors and textures to delight any taste buds. They have a few hot soups to choose from, and a few more cold in the fridge to take home with you for later. They offer a wide range of baked goods, popcorn and potato chips. Plus a nice cooler of more boujee drinks! I love going in to find what they have new in there! They sell POPPI!!! What makes this interesting is, the menu lineup changes WEEKLY. So they'll post what that week's menu will be on Facebook, with pictures! I love that. My favorite sandwich is their "Autumn Chicken Salad" (they sell it all year) I like to call it my fruit cake chicken salad! It's VERY unique. This place is so good. Food is made fresh everyday. Charlene, the owner, is so talented and makes such good soups, salads, sandwiches and dessert. The dessert is on another level. The salmon corn chowder is my favorite. So much salmon in it. It's amazing. The scones are delicious. The Monster cookies are my favorite, I could eat those on a daily basis. I love going in and hearing fun music and being greeted by such bubbly happy people at the counter. Everyone is so nice and just the best! It's like seeing old friends whenever I'm there, great place. Highly recommend! read more

My wife told me that friends and coworkers love this place and have encouraged her to go. We spent the morning at Popham Beach and decided to stop for lunch on the way home. Even before we ordered we were immediately struck by the kindness and friendliness of the lady behind the counter, whom I am assuming is the owner. We ordered the chicken stew and a key lime pie dessert to share. The stew was super good, but I must say it was soon forgotten once we tried the key lime dessert..... simply amazing!! My wife and I fought for every last bite. We are both excited to go back, especially to try the salads which look really good. read more

Quick update for their NEW LOCATION at 770 Washington St., downtown Bath, in the old Frosty Donut building. Same stupendous soups and huge scrumptious salads and sandwiches. I sort of liked the old peaceful spot but it was out of the way. Service was delightful and there are available tables for the front (if not set up just ask). read more

Made With Love Today we had the good folks at Run with Soup cater our lunch at the Atlantic Motorcar team meeting. A total of 12 lunches, each packed meticulously in individual team member bags with a name label on each. Super simple to hand out, an unexpected but much-appreciated step. Provided to us nicely, all packed up and ready to go in boxes. With some extras thrown in. What can I say? The food is absolutely delicious, super healthy, tasty, and freshly prepared. Our entire team rated it a "5 Star" lunch for quality, value, and taste. And this is a tough crowd to please; they loved it! In addition, the Run with Soup folks were super friendly and helpful to work with, sending over a menu, accepting an e-mailed order, and clearly prepared the order with exacting care, ready for pickup early. Incredible find in an old hospital that is now apartments and artwork--and this cafe. The directions are a little roundabout in a residential neighborhood (we missed the turn and had to come back around) but it's not far off Route One. But it is worth finding it. We had amazing soups--cucumber yogurt and red pepper/smoked Gouda. The sandwiches were stuffed full of delicious fresh ingredients--Sriracha hummus wrap and curried chicken salad. We took home some of the creative potato salad and pasta salads. You can call in your order and pick up or there are tables outside and inside in the wide hallway. Plenty of parking. Yum! Popped in to pick up a quick lunch based on reviews here. Such a cute and friendly place. Lots of options in the refrigerator case but I'm staying in a hotel nearby for work so I needed something already heated - there were 2 options for hot soup and I chose corn bacon chowder. A co-worker put me on to this place in North Bath, and boy am I happy I now know about it. So here's the deal, they have 3 rotating soups weekly that you can learn about on their fb page. If you like a certain soup, get some to go, as they will not promise when it will return. But, what they do have always is their Flu buster soup...think Chicken noodle soup that got attacked by ginger and cayenne. I brought a pint home to enjoy on a cold rainy day and could have drank the broth by the gallon, so good! They also have a weekly sandwich and some salads that sound delicious. Oh, and if you have a weakness for sweets, you might want to come when you are having a good self control day or are wearing elastic waist pants! read more

Walks Behind Bears and Patient With Students wanted a good bowl of soup between showers on a rainy Monday. Runs With Soup greeted them and offered tastes from her big steaming pots. The vegetable soup full of zukes, carrots, corn and peas pleased the elders as did salads so fresh and flavorful that caramel macchiato brownies, lemon bars, turnovers, scones or cookies would have been too much. "It is good to know enough" they agreed. Run With Soup provides a most delicious enough made with fresh ingredients and the most care. Absolutely excellent, all home cooking and delicious! The ladies that run this little restaurant do a great job; I would highly recommend eating here. Also had a nicely spiced chili with a hint of cranberry- delicious! The cafe is a little hard to find, but trust google maps and the good news is they are moving to a space in town (Bath). Used to enjoy eating in at the old location, but this move is bound to help them grow in popularity. Never had a soup or sandwich that I didn't love from Run With Soup! Try their sandwiches!!!! Sometimes I come here just for their chocolate chip cookies but they don't have them at times. I actually stopped in today and didn't want to go home empty handed so I took a gamble on one of their fall sandwiches. Black Forest ham, thin sliced gala apples, Gouda cheese and real honey mustard (it had the seeds) on fresh toasted bread. It was so good I wish I had ordered the full size instead of just half. Staff is always pretty friendly, there are a few tables to sit at. I wish they were open on weekends but this place does get pretty busy during lunch time. Update: I've been coming here a lot more often because of the cold. The owner is always there and she's such a great person. Very caring and is very personable. read more

We were up from Brooklyn, vacationing in Maine last week. Were in Bath and looking for breakfast/lunch. Run With Soup came up with great reviews. It did not disappoint! It was truly excellent - and that's by New York City standards, where there's no shortage of good soup and sandwich options. Everything was great. The turkey sandwich, with fresh ingredients, well assembled with good ratios, and delicious bread. The thai green curry soup - perfect consistency, great ingredients. We got some scones and some chicken salad to go - all really good. The owner came out and chatted with us while we were here too. Showed us some great Maine hospitality. I can't say enough good things about this little cafe. The soup is REALLY good, nice selection of interesting salads, quiche, and everything looks homemade. Good breakfast sandwiches, on homemade English muffins. Baked goods, seasonal variations. Good coffee! Ample seating, easy to take to go because it's counter service. Established in 2015.

Run with Soup is an ideal conceived for people who are constantly on the go but looking for good healthy food that they can take along with them. Charlene Tuplin, a busy woman in her own right, came up with an idea to deliver her beloved soup five years ago after working for over 20 years in the food industry. This idea started with friends and loyal customers that were part of an email list that received her weekly menu featuring multiple soups. Fast forward five years later and the soup driven business has manifested itself with a growing popularity into a storefront café located on 1356 Washington Street in Bath, Maine.

Watching boats go by, and people walking in the walking path to get to the park right next door...perfect for people and dog watching. Plus, OysHers allows well behaved dogs at the outdoor seating area. The menu includes MANY varieties of sparking wines, including a mimosa flight, and all local oysters, all sourced from women-owned oyster farmers, plus they have their own oyster farm as well. The menu does include a few non-seafood items, such as the classic Maine red hot dog. The menu also includes some caviar in case there is a need for a special occasion caviar celebration. There are a variety of seating options outside and inside. There are firepit tables with Adirondack chairs, regular tables and chairs, picnic tables, and high top tables. There is a beautiful display of the days oyster selection inside on ice. The ordering process is simple...order what you want at the register, tell them where you're seated (we were are fire pit #2) and they bring your order to you. You can start a tab or pay as you go. Each table has a little sign that says what the table name/number is. We went on a Wednesday afternoon so we did not try the fire pit. It is a great reason to go back. We tried the mimosa flight (orange, grapefruit, cranberry, and lemon) and a flight of oysters (4 different varieties). I couldn't tell you which one was best...they were all perfect. I especially loved how expertly they were shucked and cut loose. Every oyster slid out of its shell without any resistance and each oyster had all of its liquor. They were perfectly clean and chilled and served with lemon, a cocktail sauce and a delicious mignonette. My friend also tried a local canned cocktail, Dasch seltzer, that was excellent...not too sweet, lots of blueberry flavor. I can't wait to go back!
