I enjoyed a small cup of gelato. Server was friendly. This was a nice treat on a super hot and humid day.

Café del Hidalgo has amazing gelato! I was thrilled to find so many vegan/plant-based flavors, and they were delicious. Service was friendly and plenty of seating. A perfect treat spot with plenty of options for everyone!

On St George St in downtown St Augustine is the best quaint cafe that serves a variety of coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, gelato, crepes, sandwiches and salads. Today we stopped in for gelato and it was sooo delicious! I recommend getting the medium size and they will accommodate 2 flavors! I ordered the wild berry and grapefruit! My son had key lime pie and mango. My daughter got hazelnut and toasted marshmallow! They had a huge selection of gelato! Everything is beautifully displayed! All blends were A+! I will try the pistachio next time. I observed they didn't add food dyes which is nice. They also had a cannoli creme crepe that looks amazing! There's a nice chill vibe here. It feels relaxing to step off the busy St George and enjoy a desert. I highly recommend as they make everything homemade.

Creamy, fantasy-inducing, rich, tasty, dreamy, delightful, mouthwatering..... the gelato here is OUT OF THIS WORLD! It's a tiny place: good for a quick stop (especially for cooling down from the hot FL weather). The owners are very attentive! Try the pistachio flavor in a waffle cone! You'll savor every bite!

Gelato...omg.... house made from the owner's family recipe.....just unbelievable.....

What a magical place with unbelievable magical flavors..... I don't know where to start. Gelato better than in Italy. The owner is making by himself from the Old family recipe of his grandfather and father just unbelievable. You have to try to understand what I'm talking about...... and the coffee straight from Italy Wood roasted no acidy flavor...just pure flavor of unbelievable coffee....a place you must experience when you are visiting St Augustine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told my friend I was going to be in St. Augustine for the day and asked her for dessert recommendations. She raved about this place so my boyfriend and I went. It is a mixture between a restaurant and gelateria, and the atmosphere is kind of like a pub! Anyway the gelato WOWWWWWWWW it was so good!! The lady behind the counter was so nice and let us have as many samples as we wanted! I eventually settled on hazelnut because it's typically my favorite and it was everything I wanted it to be!! My boyfriend got the chocolate hazelnut and that was also super yummy!! Another honorable mentions is the pistachio! Next time we're in St. Augustine again, we will definitely be getting more gelato from here!!

Stopped in for a hot chocolate and cappuccino. There was a bit of a line. There is a gelato counter inside as well as food. Prices were steep.

This place is nice, the staff is friendly and have all been there for a while. Probably the most reasonably priced coffee downtown.

Staff were great and venue ok but gelato tasted stale or old. We've both had good gelato and know the difference between stale and fresh.

And of course, we had to grab a Miller Lite too! We also tried the pork fried rice from their Vietnamese side restaurant, La Miss Ha -- coconut fried rice with eggs, onions, bell peppers, carrots, peas and green onions. So good! A huge shoutout to our bartender/server, Will, who made the experience even better! The service, food and atmosphere were all amazing. They've also recently opened a new speakeasy, with happy hour from 4-9 PM and the speakeasy staying open until 11 PM every Saturday. 10/10 experience and definitely somewhere we'd come back to. Thank you, Will, and everyone at the establishment for such a great time!

We chose this spot for breakfast/brunch and what a fantastic find. The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale without feeling like you need to whisper or worry that you're holding your fork incorrectly. I went with the Gruyère cheese and ham omelette, and honestly, I'm not sure how they managed to make eggs this light. The omelette was delicate, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The kind of breakfast where you take a bite and immediately start thinking, "Well, now I'm going to have to compare every omelette I eat from this point forward." My wife ordered the spinach and mushroom quiche, which can only be described as decadent. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate what's happening on the plate. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service was spectacular, and the entire experience felt like a special occasion even though we were simply there for breakfast. French Pantry was a fantastic find and absolutely deserving of five stars. If you're in St. Augustine looking for a breakfast or brunch experience that feels a little elevated, this is one to put on your list.

One would think there's not much you can do with a grilled cheese sandwich, but the Grilled Cheese Gallery proves that assumption wrong. There are 13 amazing and creative choices of grilled cheese here. Don't like grilled cheese? They also serve salads, poutine, mac & cheese grilled sandwiches, ice cream and other desserts. This is Comfort Food headquarters! There were actually so many choices it was hard to choose. I chose A Night in Amsterdam: Gouda, Gruyere, Swiss, Cheddar, on Artisan White. My wife had The Queen Brie: House cured bacon, French Brie, Raspberry Puree, Balsamic on Sourdough. My Amsterdam was quite a creation: three slices balanced on a pedestal with cheese trailing down more than a foot. It was delicious! My wife lauded her Queen Brie as well. We wish we had more time in Saint Augustine as this place is definitely worth a second visit.

We ordered: the Amsterdam, the Artist, the Queen Brie, and the Classic (2 sandwiches). Three of us upgraded to a small cup of tomato soup (each order comes with a mini cup for dipping). I was the lucky person who ordered the Amsterdam, which, much to our surprise and delight, was served on a hook with melted cheese stretching down to the tray it was served on. Everyone had to take a photo of my sandwich! It contained a variety of cheeses, so while the taste was fairly classic, it was a bit more nuanced than the Classic sandwich, which only had cheddar cheese. Everyone else thought their sandwiches were delicious too. And we all loved the homemade tomato soup! I tend to be a bigger fan of creamy tomato soups, but this one was rich with umami flavor and had a bit of a kick. While this is a counter-service restaurant that's pretty much no-frills, the employees were friendly and helpful. One of them refilled our water cups at the table, even though the pitcher she had was leaking, and I didn't get the sense that they normally did that. Sadly, they don't sell soft serve ice cream any more, but there are so many ice cream shops in this part of St. Augustine that you can easily walk somewhere else for dessert (which we did). The place wasn't crowded on a Friday evening and had lots of menu choices, so if you like grilled cheese sandwiches, whether creative or simple, be sure to stop by the Grilled Cheese Gallery on your visit to St. Augustine!
