Never again. Thirty minute wait for one sandwich (Saturday late afternoon), which left me - at best - unimpressed. Frankly, for a few dollars less I can head to nearby BBD and get more food, a better sandwich, and better service. I had to go back inside and ask about my sandwich after the first 15 minutes and they looked like they had no idea what I was talking about. I said my order was for here and they brought it to me in a To Go box. This for a $13 sandwich. AND I tipped. This is a gorgeous location and I noticed they were quick to clean the tables here, but that's all the positive feedback I have. Overhyped and overpriced. That cilantro-mayo? This review is hard to write. I came here with such excitement and was so let down...I have been wanting to try since they opened and my husband brought me for mother's day as a surprise. My husband is Puerto Rican and we always try all the Puerto Rican spots with enthusiasm... When we arrived it was busy but not overly busy. We came with my 3 month old baby and it was pretty difficult to navigate with the stroller due to the layout of the tables which was frustrating. We placed an order for 1 almond coffee, 1 tea 2 sandwiches 1 empanada and two quesitos .. after tip it was about 40$ pricey... very pricey for pastries but whatever today's economy it's standard... The wait was TERRIBLE.... when my coffee came out it was iced and not hot but I was so anxious from the wait time .. I decided to let it slide and just drank it... The quesitos came , the tea came and the empanada... but no sandwiches... Finally my sandwich came and I waited for my husband to get his... well after 15 min more I decided to say something.. I am almost positive the owner was who I spoke with and she said she would go check my order... when she checked the order only one sandwich rang up... which is insane because the guy who took our order literally read it back to us and at 40$ I thought 2 sandwiches was part of the deal... Well the owner apologized but that's pretty much it.. I wanted to cry it was mothers day we waited over an hour for our food and my hubby was so upset at this point he just wanted to leave .. The owner should had been better at reading the situation and just made his sandwich as a gift but she offered us another empanada and that just set us off to leave... it's unfortunate because the place is cute and the menu had a lot we wanted to try .. but with those prices and crappy service we will probably never be back again read more

Ordered our coffee. No one else was here and ordered anything. The employees were just talking and didn't start the order. We asked them politely if the coffees were on the way after almost 10 minutes goes by and no one was manning the coffee machine. She said that they didn't start them yet but they'll get started soon. When I tell you I was so excited to find this place, I'm not kidding! As a Puerto Rican I squealed when I saw the menu and so excited to have this restaurant so close by. Every time I go to a coffee shop I'm only looking for two things: a good iced vanilla latte and an interior that stands out. The latte was good, you can tell the quality of espresso was great and it made for a good and simple latte. The interior was beautiful! Very simple but welcoming, also very quiet (I went in the afternoon). Highly recommend if you wanna go and get some studying done or chat with a friend. I also loved that they have outdoor seating. Overall I'd say this is a good solid coffee shop. While I do prefer others just based on location and flavor variety, I wouldn't turn down a quick trip here :) read more

Pros - food, coffee, and ambiance are great! I've been here several times. I love their breakfast sandwiches and omelettes!! So delicious. Cons - I'd like to see improvement in timing of orders. At least three times I've been there, there's been a mess up in the orders. Two examples - One time there was 6 of us. 2 of the 6 waited 45 minutes for their food. So while everyone was done and ready to go, there's just got there. Another time, with a group of 8 who ordered as four couples, one couple didn't get their food at all and the food runner tried to give us someone else's food because it was associated with our number. When we tried to explain to her it wasn't it, she got defensive. Ultimately I think she realized she was in the wrong and brought complimentary coffee and pastries. However that couple still waited an hour for two simple breakfast sandwiches. I was slightly embarrassed that I had recommended the place. I'll note both times it was pretty slow outside of our groups. I will continue to go because of the food, if there's an improvement on the food running I'll update this in the future. read more

Today was my first time at this cute cafe. When you walk in, you feel a chill environment. The decor is elegant and creative. The menu looks like a tablet, very cute and the name of the sandwiches are like Don somebody. Very creative. When I looked at the menu, I was expecting food but they only have breakfast all day and sandwiches. On the side of the cashier, there is a cooler with sodas and juices. I had lunch here this past weekend. I ordered the Don Jack and loved it. They were out of the ciabatta bread that was supposed to be used for it, but it was great on multigrain! The chips are kind of mild, but nice (they are Taro chips). Based on what I had so far, I think the food is really good, prices are reasonable and I definitely plan to go back. It was really busy too! I really haven't even seen any advertising yet, so good for them! It seemed a little bit like they weren't equipped for it to be that busy, but they were doing a good job. Food took an appropriate amount of time in my opinion. Coffee and drink menu seemed like it had a lot of good options. My only advice is that they might need more chairs - there were a few tables that were empty, but no chairs for them, because people had taken them and added them on to other tables. So this is definitely the best coffee I've had in a long time.. The pastry was absolutely delicious and it was very fresh. The ambience is very relaxing, clean, and very modern. First visit here, we tried the churrasco open faced sandwich, pumpkin pancakes, salted caramel chai latte and natural juice. The best thing was the churrasco sandwich. Not a fan of the taro chips it comes with. I did not like the pancakes at all. They were dense, dry, and a bit burnt. Left most of it. The salted caramel chai was way too sweet. The natural juice is a pretty intense flavor. They don't mention the ingredients on the bottle, which I think they should (it's oranges and grapefruit). Since I left Orlando, this cute cafe in Winter Park popped up. We came in on a Sunday morning, and while it was busy - it definitely wasn't packed. You order at the counter and then take a seat and wait for the food to be brought out. The staff is so kind and friendly, and helped me decide on what to order. We got a cappuccino, chai, the toast with brie and waffles. Everything came out fairly timely. And the portions were way bigger than I expected! It was really delicious and a decent price point. I've been going to this charming place for years. yesterday morning I took four friends with me to experience it themselves. We got there early and it all started out well but then it got really busy and it became a cluster****! The orders got all mixed up, or the wrong things were coming out. I guess that they were running out of the order number stands so they kept changing the order numbers. People that got there after us were being served first. The staff was friendly overall but they were very confused and obviously overwhelmed. I don't typically make bad reviews but I feel like it needs to be addressed. The ordering process needs to be revised. The food was good as usual but the wait time became very frustrating and sometimes the food came out cold because they were trying to figure out who it was for by walking all around the restaurant looking for the right order number that they had changed to another order number. The communication between the staff was poor. Sadly my guests will not be returning. read more
