If you're looking for a spot that opens early in the morning at USC Village, this is pretty much the only place to go, and thank goodness it's amazing! It's insanely popular with students, and it's easy to see why. I grabbed a latte, an iced tea for my wife and some croissants, and everything was hit out of the park. They seriously have the best pastries around, and the coffee is always spot on. Even though there's usually a line because of how popular it is, the service is incredible and lightning-fast. Once you get your order, there is plenty of seating right outside around the fountain. It's the perfect setup to enjoy a relaxing morning. Plus, parking is a breeze since you can just use the Village garage and get the first 2 hours free. Hands down my favorite morning routine spot!

My one year update although I've been here a LOT between! This time got the Premium matcha cold with honey. And the Chinese Chicken salad which if hungry is a solid amount, otherwise is a 2-3 time meal! Share if not hungry. Really yummy, healthier and hearty. Service is always great but think their AC is out and it's 99 outside ambiance is cool but they let different t ppl choose the music and I had a headache from the heavy metal head banging vibe today. That with the heat was just too stressful fortunately you can sit outside too! Will be back forever. Love this place despite one persons music choice not vibing with mine ;)

Been here a few times now and it's one of the more affordable lunch places in the area. Sandwiches, salads and donuts are yummy! Staff is nice! Line moves fast!

Coffee O' clock in the evening hours? Yes please! A female must have while being productive. It's an urge, an eagerness and a joy. I was pleased to get some Cafe Dulce nearby while I shopped at Trader Joe's and Target in the USC village. This cafe does have a top of the range Vietnamese coffee...a joyous cup that does no harm. I ordered a limited time drink they were promoting. A salted caramel latte. Now I know myself too well...that I should always stay loyal to my coffee choices and stick with the minimum sugar intake. The coffee was good but I wasn't thriving with the amount of sugar it had. I will continue to stick with the Vietnamese choice or a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk. Those are always on my inviting side for Cafe Dulce. Their Little Tokyo location is also a great visit experience. They have some tasty breakfast burritos there. Other than that, a great cafe to check out with plenty of college students here minding their business.

MATCHA: When in LA , be kind to yourself and get a Blueberry matcha from Cafe Dulce ! Got there early after my morning walk and there was a bit of a line but nothing compared to prior days . I was tempted by the amazing selection of pastries but am staying away for Lent! I ended up just getting the Blueberry matcha and it is delicious !! 10/10 and highlight recommended! Lots of parking in the USC village garage ! Come here early because the line is always long !

I got the blueberry matcha and it was amazing. The taste was infused with the matcha so there wasn't any blueberry chunks like I thought it would be. Can't adjust the sugar level but it is amazing!

Delicious Dulce Latte. I stopped by for some coffee and like always Dulce did not disappoint. Usually the line is longer but since USC students are off for summer I received my order super quick.

Seriously? I've never left a review of Café Dulce? How is that even possible? So I have been coming here pretty much since this USC location opened, and they absolutely saved my life during the pandemic. They had all the safety protocols in place so they could stay open and take advantage of the fact that the USC has an open courtyard where you could sit and social distance socialize. Lifesaver! I'm so happy they've not only survived but thrived. Nowadays it's so busy when USC is in session you can barely get in there to get a drink lol. it's a great vibe great people etc. and they also make very very good drinks. Particularly their Iced Matcha latte is one of my favorite iced matchas. And on the hot side the Dulce latte is Yummers.

Went during the lunch hour and it was pretty crowded but the line move really quick. The staff was really nice , the prices were great and the donuts was praise worthy in my opinion. They do have sitting inside and outside. Parking was free and I would definitely go back. I have a few more flavors I want to try. Today I got 3 fruity pebble mini, strawberry and cream and a mango donut. The donuts were moist and fresh. We spent about 13$

This place is always crowded and there's usually a line outside. They have coffees, tea, pastries and salads as well as sandwiches. We went for dessert and got a pecan tart and a fruit danish. Both were a good size serving. The pecan tart was 10/10 good taste & texture. The fruit danish looked better than it tasted 4/10. The fruit was fresh but the bread was too thick, somewhat hard and not sweet. I would return to this place and definitely try a different pastry. Maybe their cinnamon bun. It looked tasty

This place is dangerously good!! I would be spending all my money here if I lived here. The kale peanut salad has a great sauce, lots of veggies, and with chicken added is perfect and super super filling. The iced matcha, a tad bit sweet for me, but is very very good! An above average matcha

This relative newcomer to the LA food scene became such an iconic cafe. I cannot imagine the campus and the USC Village without the long line for Dulce. Of course, I always get Blueberry Matcha when I am there. I also love their Chicken Mango Salad and Portobello Sandwich. Their selection of seasonal pastry is way too tempting for this dancer who is trying to stay away from sugar and flour. The permanent feature of dessert - fruit tart - is the bomb. A couple of tips: - if you have a return for Amazon, it's next door, bring it and validate the parking there. - also, and I hope I won't regret spilling this secret: you can skip the line by ordering ahead. You also get discounts once you are on their mailing/sms list. Great people watching, so waiting in line - it goes fast - might be a part of the experience.

Vibes. Vibes. Vibes. Good breakfast food and pastries also lol The students are nice, and informative about the menu. The food/drinks come quickly, with a smile.

Hi, what are you hours for this Friday? USC village page says 7 am and Yelp states 8am. Also, do you have a phone number that works? The one listed does NOT work.…

What are the hours of operation?

Are there keto and sugar free options?

Espresso, americanos, Latte and premium matcha drinks are sugar free and you can definitely order keto friendly meals here

    Is it credit card only?

    Nope! Cash is accepted.

How much is parking per hour after the 2 hours of validation?

At USC Village $5. At Little Tokyo, I’ve paid as much as $8. I usually park in the $5 lot after 5 pm.

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

Make sure you drink from the sippy lid so that you can get the cream top and the matcha latte at the same time through each sip. The barista also recommended that I use the sippy lid and not the straw. Cream Top Coffee was an americano with a vanilla cream top. To be honest, I didn't really enjoy this drink too much. I think that the cream top coffees should be made with lattes and not americanos as they tend to not mix well together. It tasted like a watered down vanilla latte for me. The drinks do lean on the sweeter side, which is kind of a dilemma for me because the cream is SO good, but it also takes away from the matcha a little.
