Stopped by this cute little Mexican cafe and loved it! I got the cafe de olla ($5.75) which is a traditional Mexican coffee brewed with cinnamon sticks and cane sugar in a clay pot. It had such an amazing flavor, very rich and aromatic. They also sell conchas which are soft breads with a sweet crunchy topping. We wanted the green chile breakfast burrito, but they were sold out, so we went with the red chile instead ($8.00). It came with egg, cheese, and potatoes. It came out shaped in a heart shape, which I thought was cute. Service was excellent. You do have to bus your own table. The ambience is a cozy little spot filled with festive Mexican decor. The menu is small (mostly conchas and a few burrito options) but everything we had was great. Definitely worth a stop for coffee and a bite!

Once my friend saw this cafe we had to come here for brunch! There were some sweets, mids, and a couple of mehs. The cafe is super cute with a few tables for pairs or tables of four both inside and out. Café es Amor has several creative Latin-inspired coffee drinks and a cozy vibe. I tried the coffee flight ($13), which included the Amorato, Amorcito, Horchata, and Mazapán. The Churro and Amorcito were easily the best! The Amorcito, a lavender latte with honey had that hint of lavender without being overpowering, and the cinnamon added just the right warmth. My Churro latte tasted like a churro with condensed milk so it was like holding a churro in latte form. The Mazapán was a bit too sweet and had too much peanut butter taste for me, and the Horchata was good. My breakfast burrito, was okay but underwhelming for $8 and about half the size of a regular burrito and lacking some flavor. The service was decent but slightly confusing since there's a self-service station, a QR code to order by phone, and also a person at the counter. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive, which wasn't bad. Overall, Café es Amor is a cute, relaxing place to hang out and try something different. The coffee flight is worth it for the experience, especially the churro and amorcito flavors. Perfect for the incoming cold weather!

Ok so I discovered this place while I stayed in ABQ for my UNM curanderismo class. I LOVED IT!!!! the coffee was delicious, the Staff was awesome! Service was quick! The vibe was what I loved!!! We had chilaquiles and coffee flight. We loved them both. I am pretty picky being a Chicana from Califas and I can totally vouch for this place! I really liked it!!! Its pretty small so be patient. I kept going first thing in the. Morning..risking being late to class to get my cafecito it was worth it!!!! Lol Happy yelping mis amigos y amigas!

    Coffee flight

Very small little coffee shop tucked away into a corner off central. Today we got a coffee flight and the green chilaquiles(forgot to take a picture of those we were just so hungry). Everything was so delicious and the service was great. I'll definitely be back for many more rounds as it was just that tasty. I definitely recommend this place if you're going out with maybe you and your partner or just a very small group of people as there isn't much space at all but definitely worth stopping by and at least trying their signature coffees. Definitely going back again and again

Service is always great! The chilaquiles were rich in flavor. The matcha flight was so tasty! We also had two hot to go coffees and they were delicious. I've also tried their pan and the quality is awesome. The ambiance is inviting and warm. I love stopping by when I can!

I really enjoyed this spot. The tamaquiles were delicious and full of flavor, and the portion was just right. I also tried a concha and it was so soft and sweet, the kind that makes you want to take one home. The place itself feels warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly the whole time. It's a great spot to start your morning and I'd definitely come back again.

I would say as a collective 3/5 stars are appropriate . i would say that 1. the ordering is all done via ipad screen or QR code . which is helpful but lacks a lot more customizations and interactions regarding what is wanted in each individual drink . over all me and my friends went and the reviews were anything from a 5/10 to a 10/10 and the 5/10 was being generous . the best out of all was the marzipan latte was the closest to actual flavor , dynamic, sweet and overall would order again . the trio was an average of a 7/10 the best thing being the cafe latte speciality. the chai tea was what i individually ordered i would give it a 4/10 . it was honestly flavorless , and tasted like mildly sweet milk . i added cinnamon on top and i couldn't even taste it the chai itself was no where . i wouldn't order again . overall the environment was beautiful and a great experience from staff and receiving orders . I think this place is a great place to just vibe and take pictures . but true coffee people or even people who like customizations this isn't for you .

Literally dreaming of the chilaquiles right now! It's such a cute space, tiny and busy but well worth the wait. The staff was super friendly and sweet. I had been craving Pan Dulce and I was not disappointed. But the star of the show was the chilaquiles, like I would eat that every single day if I could you need to stop here at some point so go!

Cozy hidden gem! The coffee is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. It has quickly become our new favorite spot. Be sure to try the marzipan latte--it's a must!

    Burrito and chilaquiles

The bean and cheese burrito was delicious, especially the chilaquiles was great! The associates were very nice and served us with a great attitude. The atmosphere was so beautiful a Hispanic culture homely feeling.

What a gem! I had the red chile chilaquiles and they were amazing.

I ordered many treats for myself and bestie. One pastry that caught my eye was the classic butter croissant dough with activated charcoal, glazed blood oranges, and blood orange curd. I'm not sure if this is only a seasonal item. The colors are beautiful! It was quite sweet, however the blood orange tartness aided in the flavors giving it a bit of tartness. The Boston Cream Cruffin looked mighty tasty. It's made with their signature croissant dough rolled up and filled with vanilla pastry cream and dipped in dark chocolate ganache. Amazing sandwich, fresh, delicious! While we were enjoying our food, Pratt Morales, the owner and master baker, came out and talked to us for a while. This was a real treat, great positive attitude and love for what he does. He even introduced us to one of his specialties the Turkey shaped bread he makes for Thanksgiving. So popular now he gets hundreds of orders per year. We left with some biscochitos and other cookies to go, and a desire to try more things when we are back in Albuquerque.
