Cute coffee shop in West Village. There are 2 floors so plenty of seats, and airy space! I just wish that they can offer non-disposable cups for dine ins!

brandy melville cafe! so aesthetically pleasing and ambient inside. i love the decor of the cafe and vibes of the crowd. i had the almond croissant and iced matcha latte. i love how the default dairy option is oat milk. prices were decent as well. my bf got the cappuccino and he loved it. service was great, people were polite. 10/10 would come back!!

Great location, beautiful layout with the perfect upstairs windows for people watching (if you can snag a seat). I will admit I felt a little "too old to be here" when I realized it was a Brandy Melville Cafe and I'm no longer 18 years old, but the server was very friendly and brought out sandwiches up to our table for us so we didn't have to wait downstairs for them. Cold brew with oat milk was fine nothing special, note they only have one size which I think was 16oz, sandwiches are small but pretty good, chocolate croissant was also good but very small. If you can grab a seat it's a nice place to work or sit and read, but beware they're very strict about no laptops on weekends!

I'm obsessed with St. George Coffee. The location is absolutely gorgeous with tons of beautiful seating. The upstairs area is a great place to relax. The staff were friendly and fast. The coffee was absolutely amazing. I also got a matcha latte and it was rich and well made. This is a great spot to visit for a pick-me-up!

Really liking this place, and I think I've found a new regular spot in my neighborhood! Roomy (for NYC), friendly, a style that's chaotic yet somehow comfy. That sums up the city itself, I suppose. Great latte--they only have oat, but that's fine for me--and I appreciated the mini-baguettes, as someone that likes a savory bite with his coffee but not necessarily a full-sized sandwich. I didn't see Wi-Fi, and then I spotted the notice saying no laptops on weekends. For a place like this, on the corner of Bleecker and 7th, I definitely prefer that. We have quite enough dead-silent coffee shops filled with folks staring at their laptops. Operationally, they've got it down: table numbers for food, coffee bar situated a decent distance from the cashier so new and waiting customers don't have to awkwardly pack together, staff attending to empty trays and such, etc. Quite smooth. There are the little touches, too--the branding, cute striped straws, heck, even the plastic cups for the water are a tad nicer than what you usually get. Music at a nice moderate volume, not blasting in your ears (looking at you, Ground Central). I *would* suggest some kind of curtain situation, or something, for the street-facing windows. The natural light is lovely and welcome, but can get overbearing and make the window seats less than pleasant. Might not be the best during the summer. Overall, a fine effort and execution and I look forward to returning!

If you are a fan of Brandy Melville, you should definitely check out their corner cafe in West Village. It is a good work cafe with wifi, good in-house pastries and restroom. Just be mindful that the two floors are always crowded with people using laptops. It was easier to find a single seat but we did have a hard time finding a table for two. *Croissant, Almond Croissant I have low expectations on most coffee shop pastries, but their croissant quality hits the mark. The croissant had good honeycomb interior, while the almond croissant was generously stuffed with frangipane. Both croissants we got were flaky and golden shiny. All their pastries and sandwiches are literally bite-sized, but pretty decent as quick bites or study snacks. The pricing is acceptable -- $3 for a plain and $4 for an almond croissant. *Latte Only oat milk available -- which is a hit or miss. I drink oat milk coffee on a daily basis so it was completely fine for me, but my friend thought the oat flavor was weird. The espresso aroma of their latte was weak though. *Matcha Latte The matcha richness surprised me. Not sure which matcha powder did they use, but I guess it wasn't ceremonial grade. It left a grassy aftertaste. Overall I like the matcha latte over their coffee.

this place was kind of a fever dream to walk into as a 20 something who grew up in the 2015 rising age of brandy melville fashion taking over, because it's legitimately brandy melville on the inside. the only difference being that the clothing is coffee. speaking of the coffee, oh it's so good. once you move past being teleported into your 14 year old body it's friendly, bright, and delicious.

This place gets really busy, so my order took a while. I ended up getting both a drink and some food--while I was very happy with the food, the drink was a bit of a letdown and tasted watered down. Also, it gets quite crowded, and laptops aren't allowed, which was a little disappointing given that it's advertised as a coffee shop.

Happened to see this place and we decided to stop by since it was snowing outside. Ordered the matcha latte with oat milk and it was delicious. This place sells merch and bread. Tried the cinnamon bun only and it was delicious. Glad we stopped by.

Good place to go for a quick brunch or to just sit and enjoy a drink or sandwich! They have a lot of seating (first floor, second floor and outdoors) and the first floor has a lot of light and windows since it's on the corner, and the second floor has nice tables by the windows as well! My friend and I both got a matcha latte ($5 which is less than most in the city) which were good and very matcha-y, not too milky at all! And the sandwiches were good and well sized. We only got the half sizes of our sandwiches which were $9 and pretty big already, so the full sizes ($16) seem like a good value! Also good service and nice workers. I was planning to buy a pastry but when I went none of them looked too enticing but maybe it was just that day that I went because they didn't have some of the ones I've seen in other reviews.

matcha, strawberry lemonade, lemonade, pain au chocolate, and nutella bites (one was eaten already)

So cute, and the staff was very friendly. The food was pretty good; personally, my drink was a bit watery, but that might have just been my impression because my friends thought theirs were great. Can't wait to come back!

I saw this place all over instagram so wanted to give it a try. It was PACKED on the weekend so keep in mind, you may not find seating but there is an upstairs and downstairs area. And the bathrooms are nice! I got an iced coffee and a cookie. Both were pretty good. I'd come back to try the sandwiches as I've heard good things. If you come on a quieter day and found a spot, I think it would be a good work from home spot.

The cookie I was most excited for was the corn cookie and the chocolate chip also looked really good. The cookies themselves were really solid though. Nice light crisp around the edges with a chewy center without being overly gooey or underbaked. Definitely on the thicker side too, which I liked. Next time I'll have to try one of their espresso drinks!

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I ordered an iced matcha einspanner ($6.95) with oat milk ($0.75) and loved that it already comes with a shot of espresso, so it was essentially a dirty matcha einspanner. I tried each layer on its own before mixing everything together and it was all really good. The matcha cream is the right amount of sweet and creamy and you can taste the matcha with just a hint of coffee. Since I'm a coffee fiend I added a bit more espresso when I got back to the hotel and it tasted even better while still keeping the matcha as the dominant flavor. Next time I would ask for less ice since it was freezing that morning, but on a warmer day the ice level would be perfect. Would love to come back to try their other drinks or order the einspanner again as a hot drink.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
