Several items sold out or were low on stock (always a good sign) so grabbed the ham and cheese croissant as a light lunch with a cold brew. The croissant dough was light and flaky as one would hope. The ham and cheese was standard, not any 'wow' factor there. The cold brew was very good, and I probably did not need to have any dairy added to it, but that's become my norm for a first time anywhere as many places do not execute a cold brew smooth enough to not need in my opinion. We ordered small and got a muffin and lemon poppyseed bread slice and two cold brew coffees. We technically ordered for there so they served them on sturdy plates. For your cold brews and regular coffees, they had a coffee-condiment station - ie creamers, oat milk, sugars, etc. plus silverware, napkins, etc. and the cleanup bins for when you are done with you meals. The muffin and bread were delicious - the poppyseed had a nice lemon glaze! I would definitely consider going back to try some other bakery items and something from the kitchen. I was in the area and decided to try the Needham location, although I normally go to the one in Norwood and once in a while Dedham. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and home fries. I was disappointed to see that they skimped on the bacon big time. Literally was just 1 slice of bacon! The bagel toppings were very stingy and somewhat over cooked so I only ate half... couldn't really enjoy it. The lady told me they don't sell home fries there which was also a major disappointment. They're so popular and delicious I figured all the locations would sell them. My fault for assuming I guess. She could've been nice about it but she was so rude making sure to point out that they're too busy at that location to make home fries. All she had to say was no we don't make them here. But to be so snobby and rude about it is just unnecessary and a turn off. They need to work on their customer service skills, they clearly don't have any. Won't be back. read more

Or even less waiting if you just order bagels to go as they just pack up what you want right after you pay. The coffee might be self serve, but it was good and the bagel was great, I haven't tried the gingerbread man in my photos which I just bought cause I really liked his ugly face. The only downside I see for this place is that there is no accessible entrance and they could invest in converting the rear entrance into a ramp.
