This is one of those "if I could give it zero stars I would." They deserve the 1.4 star rating…read morethey have. The employees here are rude, unfriendly and frankly the most unhelpful people I have ever encountered. I ordered a hot chocolate and two bagel twists on the app. I went to pick it up and was told they are out of bagel twists. I understand this. It happens. However the response of the store team was unacceptable. The woman just stared at me after saying that, so I followed up with "can I get my money back then?" No. We don't own the app. We don't get any money from it. We can't help you. I said so I'm sorry you don't have my food and I can't have my money back? I was told no, you have to contact customer service on the app to get a refund. I said what? That makes no sense. You don't have my food AND you won't give me my money back? "No it's not our app it says it right on there." (It doesn't BTW). I think said ok, could you give me another item? The woman says "like what." I said I don't know like something worth the same $$. She stops walking towards where I had moved to, crosses her arms, looks at me and says "I'll help You but you better stop it with that attitude." EXCUSE ME?!?! You don't have my food but refuse to give me a refund and I am the one with the attitude?! I said forget it, grabbed my hot chocolate and started to walk away. She looked at me and said "Wow GRINCHY!" That put me over the edge so at this point I called her a bitch and walked out. She clearly is a miserable person with a miserable life and the misery just seeps out of her pores. She obviously can't help it. Next time, stay in bed and save the rest of us from your sparkling personality. #blessyourheart

There have been so many times that I've come here and can't get food or they're out of everything. I don't understand how a big corporation can run out. It's not just on all the time.

Stopped in to get some snacks to eat while hiking: in keeping with local produce, got a blueberry bran muffin and a maple bun whose name I forget. The ingredients were great quality: you could taste the freshness of the blueberries and the purity of the maple syrup. The question, for me, is whether the baking elevates these ingredients beyond if I'd just had blueberries and maple syrup. About that, I'm not sure.

On a recent cruise we had a port stop in Rockland, ME. Instead of doing an excursion we decided to…read moredo one of those "go down this street and right" excursions where you make everything up as you. Since it was between breakfast and lunch we decided to stop into Atlantic Baking for a coffee and a pastry. Atlantic Baking is an unassuming shop right along what I'm going to consider a main street through Rockland. Not necessarily THE main street, but the Main-est we saw, so I'm sticking with that. Inside are several cases of pastries, breads, rolls, donuts and other baked goods that looked at me as if to say "I dare you". There was a cinnamon roll-ish thing that looked really good, and a Vanilla latte are what talked to me most. The staff (two young ladies on this morning) were busy hustling and, even with that, were helpful as they tried to keep taking care of customers. The vanilla latte was SUE-PERB, albeit a bit hot for my taste (had it let is cool first). As we sat having our halfway-between-breakfast-and-lunch-but-not-really-brunch snack there was a steady stream of customers, I'm guessing about 50/50 regulars and cruisers. Aside from pastries, coffees and teas, there's a cooler with canned/bottle beverages for the on-the-go beverage drinker. With as much activity as was going on during our visit you'd think it'd be difficult to keep clean, but there was a gentleman who came out frequently to take care of emptied tables, trash, etc. There are windows into the baking area, proving that they've got nothing to hide. Most everything is made on site with fresh, natural ingredients by people who take pride in what they do. Atlantic Baking is a charming place and a nice stop for a mid-morning snack
