I think there was difficulty staffing that (a common problem in Maine) so they have scaled down. The sandwiches are phenomenal. Only served until 2:30 each day. The hot peppers, balsamic vinegar and oil make these sandwiches. Make sure you just get everything on your sandwich. The service is still quite slow, which is probably due to staffing but it's an issue. There are many gluten free options but it is not a gluten free bakery. No outside food is allowed (don't bring in your Wasses!) Be a real Mainer and chomp those down in your car.

I ordered a small carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake had beautiful frosting details and a walnut topping. I got there at 8:42 AM and there were two people in front of me. There was only one person making use of the ample seating that was available. After I ordered, I turned around and there was over a dozen people waiting. The bagels were fresh and very tasty! Excellent! One serving me was a bit grumpy and the other was very nice, so service is a coin toss. Get there early!
