    Cheese bagel with bacon
    Kim L.

Stopped in on Sunday morning while leaving the rainy blues festival (we certainly didn't want to leave, but spending the day being poured on didn't sound like fun). We were looking for a place for breakfast and spotted this - sent a quick text to my grandson because he is a bagel lover and spends time in Rockland, he said it was great and it was! We had breakfast sandwiches on asiago bagels. So good! Mine was bacon - crisp, and the egg and cheese were great - Wayne ordered his with sausage and said it wasn't the best but okay. It was pleasant in the dining room coffee was good, prices were good as well.

A nice, local bagel shop. They have breakfast and lunch. A variety of bagels. The staff are super nice too.

This has to be the worst bagel I have ever seen, it's flat, not cooked and barely any toppings! Not to mention 4 bagels and a container of cream cheese was $12! Honestly I will never go here again!

Spicy librarian- this is only half of the sandwich
    Julie G.

Stoped here for a quick breakfast. I got the spicy librarian with no meat and it was delicious! I got my sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. I do feel as though the jalapeño bagel could be a little bit spicier but I like things really spicy. The bagel was a little bit smaller than average but it was packed with egg and cheese. The coffee is delicious it's self served. I found that the prices were good. For two spicy librarians and a large coffee it was 14 bucks! I would definitely recommend!!

Hidden cost of $2.00 for each bagel due to the flavour chosen! Not even disclosed to customers

Poor value for money Bad judgment from staff We went in for 2 bagels and 2 coffees We assumed that our $8.65 Reuben and $5.50 breakfast sandwich would have the price of the BAGEL included. Wrong. I ordered both on a cheese flavoured bagel. When I went to pay and the employee said $21.65 I nearly coughed up my coffee. We had been to the wonderful Camden Bagel Cafe with 4 people and paid less the previous day! I had her walk through bill and she said that the type of bagel I chose was $2.00 extra!! I asked her where this was disclosed to customers. She said, "it should be on the board." It wasn't and she couldn't find it yet refused to credit me $4.00. Poor service, mediocre bagel and dodgy business practices hiding prices!

Over 25 mins for a bagel. Place wasn't even busy. Not worth the trouble/wait. Service needs to improve.

I thought the bagels and cream cheese were very good. Bought a dozen to bring back home with the cream cheese.

Fresh and very tasty bagels. But $3.85 for a bagel and chive cream cheese. Outta sight pricing.

Let's start at the beginning- Just because the roll-down…read moredoor is closed doesn't mean the bagel shop is closed. That was my first error as I went by this place a handful of times. It's wasn't until I saw someone emerge from the double doors to the left of the roll-down that I realized that the business was open. Not that they need any help getting people inside (it was HOPPING) but a sandwich board outside perhaps would show that the business is open inside? I went in and immediately everyone was friendly and chipper. Ordering was simple enough but be prepared, they sell through some things, understandably as this place is very popular. I got an espresso and a toasted herb bagel with plain cream cheese. Ive been all over Bath, Brunswick, Rockland, and Camden and was convinced that the New Englander's palates were shot. Not a single business has served me a decent espresso. Not a single one until I stopped at Dutchman's. FINALLY a bright, clean shot that doesn't taste like someone put a cigar out in it. Everyone needs to take notes. THEN we get to the bagel....didn't think I was about to have the best bagel of my life, yet here I am. Light, toasted, slightly chewy but not heavy... jeez. Can we talk about the space? It's gorgeous. Airy, cool, industrial...but the people running it make it feel homey. We can talk about the restaurant they're putting in next door too but let's be realistic, if they use any of the blueprint they're currently operating off of, they're not going to have any issues (Omg the pizza oven!) The view alone will stop you in your tracks. I'm all in on Dutchman's. I bought the merch. I have a tee shirt and a beanie and the only reason I don't have a hoodie is because they were sold out in my size. What else is there to say... 10/10 No notes.

This is a cute bagel/coffee shop located in the Fort Andross building (on the back side). I was…read morekind of confused as to where it was based on where my GPS took me, but you can park in the back, or just walk through the building to find it. As soon as I walked up I was bummed to see they had no egg or cheese, which is what I was planning to order. Instead, I went with the Turkey Lurkey. It's not something I'd typically order but it was delicious. It was a bit messy so eating it in the car was a mistake lol. I also got a cold brew coffee. My order was $17 for those two things, which is expensive, but the quality of the food and coffee was very good and I'd much rather give my money to this business than a large corporation like Starbucks. I saw another review give 3 stars because they are comparing their bagels to NY/NJ style bagels. I'm originally from NJ, and yes I prefer those style bagels, but that is NOT what Dutchman's is going for. These are Wood-Fired bagels, and yes they do have a more bread like texture but I thought they were delicious and made for perfect sandwich bagels. I went on a Thursday morning and there was no line so service was quick. I was in and out in about 10 mins.
