    Cold antipasto

This may be Babylon's greatest secret. This small Italian restaurant packs a whole bunch of flavor. This place is traditional in ever sense of the word. And if you come here, bring your appetite. You will definitely not leave here hungry. I've frequented this restaurant quite a few times and every time, I have had great food with amazing service. Pro tip: MAKE A RESERVATION! This place is VERY small and only has a few tables for dining in. There is a good chance you will not be able to enjoy a meal here if you do not call ahead. The food is amazing. It is so close to how my grandmother use to cook it's eerie. On my last visit we had the following: cold antipasto, baked clams, fried calamari with cherry peppers in a spicy sauce, shrimp scampi and finally cassatelles. Growing up my grandmother use to make these all the time and it's rare to find a place that does it. If you don't know what a cassatelle is, it is pastry dough with a sweet ricotta filling. It is literally one of the best desserts ever. They don't always have these available and when they do they are first come first serve. Pro tip: Ask if they have cassatelle at the start of your dinner. If they do have them available, I would ask if they can put an order on the side for you. You will thank me later. No matter what you get here the food is amazing. If you grew up in an Italian-American household like I did, you will feel right at home. If you didn't, you still will enjoy some very awesome traditional Italian cuisine! Mangia!

I forgot the name of the seafood dish but it was so good!

We don't live close but heard good things about the food so we took a drive. The service and the food was top notch. I couldn't believe the size of the portions, honestly. We couldn't even finish half our meals. I would recommend getting there by 4-4:30. We left at 6 and the place was packed.

Phase 2 is alive and well in Babylon Village. Dining al fresco with my special fella and it felt so European... Service was spectacular. Our masked/gloved servers were beyond attentive without being pesky. Sanitizing between patrons, disposing of paper menus after each customer handle it and social distancing was adhered to with table placement. Quality food, priced accordingly, nice wine selection, limited dessert menu during Covid.

We came in on a Saturday around 8. We started out with the cold antipasto. It had portobello mushrooms, olives, cheese, sun dried tomatoes, red peppers, Prosciutto and soppressata and cheese. Seasoned to perfection. I had the special Risotto with seafood in a lightly spicy red sauce. It was filled with mussels, clams, calamari. Every bite was delicious. My husband had the special rigatoni with crumbled sausage and mushroom in a light cream mushroom sauce. It was equally delicious a perfect amount. We finished the night with the homemade cannoli cake and coffee. The cake was fresh and awesome. They take cards but no tip on the card so you need cash for tip. I'm so glad we found this place. I can't wait to come back!

Came here after my bad experience at Armadillo Grill. (Very much looking forward to writing THAT review ) The food here is pretty good, and the decor is cute, but I wasn't exactly blown away by anything I had, save for the edible Orchids that they decorate your plate with. THAT is pretty damned cool. I got eggplant rolatini, and my wife got chicken and mushrooms in a lemon wine butter sauce. Both were SERVICEABLE, but nothing that you wouldn't get at any other local italian place (pizzaiola, cafe gio, mama's, etc.) and it was pretty pricey considering.

Never a bad meal, good service. True home-cooked food made by the local family. Go for lunch or dinner.

Delicious food, wish the portions were bigger for the price but it was still worth it!

Maybe this place should be renamed to O.M.G Ramen! Because one bite, and you'll say "OMG, This is…read moredelicious!" Sal, the owner, is just an all around fantastic person who is crazy passionate about serving the best quality food with the best quality ingredients that are good for you and good for your soul. No seed oils, artificial colors or flavors here. YESSSS. This is my kinda place, and my kiddo loves it too. They have the Little G's \which gives you options for rice bowls and ramen but my son always gets the ramen here. He subs out the egg for some veggies and he is happy as can be. I've gotten the vegan ramen a bunch of times now and Sal is fantastic about making it to your preference. Want it spicy? No problem. Want more red peppers? You're covered. The broth is rich and flavorful. Although it is a bit more than maybe another ramen place, I've been able to get two meals out of my bowl every time I've come here, and that makes it plenty worth it for me. The restaurant itself is bright and clean. Plenty of tables if you want to dine in and enjoy the village. OG is the type of place you come as a customer and leave as a friend.

Stopped in for a quick dinner the other night. I saw this place had good reviews so we decided to…read moretry it out. It's a small place in Babylon close to the train but there were plenty of seats. I got the keto and added noodles (I liked what was in it) and we also got the classic which was with chicken as the protein and a lighter, slightly citrusy broth. Both ramens were really good and they food came out quickly. They also have a kids menu, either a ramen bowl or rice bowl with choice of protein. They offer both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, a couple different kinds of Japanese beers and some sakes as well as sodas and juices. Great spot for a quick bite!
