I decided to have lunch here for the first time. This restaurant sits on Main Street in downtown Parker. I went yesterday (on a Saturday morning) and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant has an elegant feel to it. I like that when you sit in the dining room you have a nice view of Main Street. I ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Onion Kulcha and Masala Chai. Heads up that the Masala Chai is made per order. They don't have it sitting in a carafe or tea pot which is good. It's actually outstanding! I love that they don't pre-sweeten it. They offer sweeteners at your table. I would actually return here just to have a cup of the Masala Chai, it's that good. Lamb Rogan Josh was good and spiced just right. They offer mild, medium or hot. My only constructive feedback for the LRB is that the chunks of lamb should be a little bigger. It's served with a nice yellow fragrant rice as well. Onion Kulcha was one of the best I ever had. Again, I could have just had the Chai and Kulcha together then walked away satiated. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Dining room is clean. Also, you need to use their parking lot at the rear of their establishment. I believe the lot offers parking for patrons of the whole complex. Overall, good experience. Food is really good. It was my first time going to Spice Kitchen. We went on a Monday evening and were seated right away (party of three). The service was okay. Our server was a little rude, but the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the butter chicken (medium spice) with plain naan, and it really hit the spot. Spice Kitchen is a nicely decorated, bright, open space with windows along 2 walls so people watching on Main Street is possible. They also have a nice patio area. The service, as usual, was excellent and the young lady was very sweet. I ordered the single set - which I hadn't noticed on the menu before. It came with pakora, hot out of the oven plain naan, saag paneer, chicken Tikka masala, and rice and they were all delicious. I have enough leftovers for 2 more meals. My friend had her usual chicken Tikka masala and the garlic cheese naan and loved them. The naan was a little heavy on the garlic but very tasty. Spice Kitchen has a full bar and parking is on the street or nearby free parking lots. Its easy to walk up Main Street from there so you could make a day of your visit. read more

This is a review of the Newly opened Spice Kitchen on Parker Road. As yet not on Yelp. As a inexperienced white guy I tried out this Indian restaurant. I've been there twice & was pleased with both meals. Both were just spicy enough, 4 on a scale of 6. Both served with a bowl of Basmati rice. Service was quick & attentive but not intrusive. They had Indian beer, Mahraja Lager. Excellent. The ambiance was pleasant Indian inspired. Next time I will try Tandoori. I hope they get more advertising as I was the only diner both times. I stopped in during lunch one day when I happened to be in the area getting my taxes done. I got the butter chicken, medium spice. It wasn't even really spicy, and I'm not able to eat super spicy stuff, but the food was delicious. I also got the garlic naan after reading reviews that said it was delicious. It did not disappoint. Spice Kitchen is always our "go to" choice for dinner when we are in the Parker area. The food is fresh and full of great Indian and Nepali flavors. They have all the usual dishes such as various masalas and saags but also unique specialties. The naan is definitely a standout...thin, buttery, and flakey! The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great for a casual meal but also for a special occasion dinner...they have a full bar. When my husband was in his "vegan era," we were frequent diners at Spice Kitchen because they made eating out so easy with many options already on the menu plus their willingness to make other menu items vegan for him. This restaurant had everything: excellent service, fabulous ambience, an amazing food! For us went for a late lunch early dinner we started off with the appetizer plate, which was so scrumptious. Then we decided to share Main # dishes, so we ordered a dinner for two and a paneer kebab plate with extra naan. Everything was so delicious. I can't even start to describe it. The dinner for two is definitely a fabulous deal with an appetizer of four pieces of tender chicken, followed by three smaller main courses tikka chicken, chicken curry and saag. It also came with rice, naan and a rice pudding at the end which was OK but everything else was so fabulous before that that it was fine. Really good Indian food has finally made it to Parker. Seasoning are wonderful. All the expected dishes and maybe a few you wouldnt. While the food is on the milder side (I prefer spicy) you can ask them to up the heat so it is more authentic. Their normal spice levels are targeting American palates who are accustomed to true Indian heat levels. Havent had a bad dish yet and looking forward to trying more of them! read more

Spice Kitchen is truly a gem in downtown! I do end up ordering take out more than dining in but the interior is very nice and service is great. My FAVORITE dish is the Bharta Makhani. I always order an eggplant dish when I see it offered at Indian restaurants and this one is my favorite in Colorado. It's so creamy and perfectly seasoned, truly delightful to eat. I've never had a bad dish there. I also like the vegetable samosas, garlic naan, and tandoori chicken. Lots of vegetarian options and vegan by request. We wanted a big variety so we got Butter chicken, Shrimp Vindaloo, Fish Saag, Chicken Korma, Chicken Biryani, Tandoori chicken, Lamb curry, Samosas, and Garlic Naan. This is our second time coming to spice kitchen since moving to Parker last year. I wasn't impressed the first time and my second trip confirmed that if you are looking for Indian food in Parker there are better (and less expensive options) The food is not bad, it is just unremarkable in every way, we have tried four separate dishes and 3 appetizers and every one has lacked flavor and the richness that I crave in Indian cuisine. The service is good, but again lacking any kind of personality. It felt like our waitress was at work despite hating her job. No smile, pleasant enough but clearly did not want to be there. I will say the restaurant is very clean. It has a beautiful patio for enjoying a nice day or evening and is a prime location downtown. If only it was worth going to it would be a great date night. This one is located right in the middle of downtown Parker, off the main street. You can enter thru the main street entrance or park at the back and use the back door. Late afternoon, before the dinner rush, this restaurant was very quite. Only saw one gentleman enjoying a cold one at the patio. It is very nice restaurant, quite large and well laid out. Only gripe is the dirtiness of the carpet. Definitely needs refreshing. The service is excellent. We were greeted by very friendly waitress, answered all the questions and and the food we got were all excellent. They did have several beers from India served with frosted glasses. Definitely a big plus on a hot day like today. The momo took the longest but I was informed of this at the time of order. On my next trip, I will order appetizers including momo and then wait to order the main meal. Overall, pleasantly surprised with the food, staff and ambiance. We were sat instantly and the outside table which was clean. The service was great as we were brought menus and waters very quickly. About 5 minutes after our order was taken I had the butter chicken which was AMAZING super hot and tasty very fresh. It was also super flavorful! Everything smelled amazing and looked great. We had the bullet naan which was super spicy and flavorful as well as the texture of both naan's they were warm and super tasty. There was a TON of food. Came to Spice Kitchen mid day on a Saturday and the restaurant was completely empty. A friend of mine hadn't tried Indian food, but knew she liked curry so wanted to get the experiences. As the restaurant was empty we had our choice of table, and the server checked in on us constantly to see if we were ready to order or needed more water. The menu was very large with tons of options. We ordered the Tofu Masala and Chicken Curry with Vegetable Samosas and Garlic Naan. The food highly exceeded my expectations and I will say that it was one of the top Indian restaurants I've visited in the Denver area. There was plenty of food to go around and tons of leftovers. The samosas come in 2 pieces so definitely get enough for each person! I got the lamb biryanis and it was delicious! I got it spicy and it was the best amount of spice. The portions were also large. I was able to have leftovers to take home. My sister got the butter chicken which went perfectly with the naan. Overall the food was delicious and perfectly spiced for us. I also got the mango lassi which was something I never had before, it tasted like mango yogurt and I loved it. The restaurant was also spacious and clean which was a plus. Spice Kitchen hits the mark on delicious Indian food for delivery. Every item I ordered hit the mark in flavor and texture. The tandoori chicken was one of the better ones I've had from Indian restaurants here in Denver area. They provided a bountiful of rice matching the amount of items I ordered. The only hit I will give it is I asked for extra hot on some items and it was mild at best. However I believe it would have been pretty hot for those not use to Indian level spiciness.
