Tuscan Beet Root Salad with chicken sandwich

Went for a later lunch on a Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Server was very friendly and gave great suggestions. Food was timely and so delicious. Coffee was very good and much needed! Their coffee menu is extensive. Got a bruschetta, a chicken sandwich and salad with chicken. Both very tasty.

There are so many coffee options here which I like. I got the Alpine drink and it was so good! It was balanced really well with the syrups, espresso, drizzle, and cream. All of the workers are very nice as well. There is a bunch of bar seating if you'd like to enjoy your drink there. The drink also came out in only a few minutes.

Cafe Intermezzo in Nashville was amazing. The ambiance alone is worth the visit! There was moody lighting, candles, and such a cozy, romantic vibe. We ordered the peanut butter hot chocolate and the deluxe hot chocolate, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, indulgent, and perfectly made. We also tried the traditional cheesecake with schlaag, and WOW! It was so creamy, so good, and the perfect dessert to end the night. This is an ideal spot for a date night or a fun, relaxed evening with friends. On top of all that, the servers were fantastic. They were super friendly and always checking in without being overbearing. Can't wait to come back!

Take an intermezzo (intermission) from your busy day and slow down at this European inspired cafe. This has quickly and easily become one of my favorite spots in Nashville and I already can't wait to go back. It literally felt like I stepped into a cafe in Europe when walking through the door. The decor is absolutely STUNNING. From a long list of coffee and brunch options to their stunning pastries, this spot is perfect for slowing down between life's busy acts. What I ordered: -Cafe Latte -Baked Brie, Banana & Nutella Crepe, Strawberry & Nutella Crepe Parking: Pay to park lots and garages

What a beautiful cafe! The Strawberry Nutella crepe was wonderful and the coffee tasted like it was served in a European cafe. The ambiance was perfect. Truly enjoyed everything about this adorable restaurant.

Cafe Intermezzo gives me all the feels. If you're up for brunch, lunch, dinner or dessert they have options for you. We walked in on Christmas Eve morning and were quickly seated. I indulged myself with one of their Belgian waffles with mango toasted coconut. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet and you get a little crunch from the toasted coconut. The mango was a surprisingly refreshing touch and I would definitely get it again. I also had the Cioccoloccino. Not only was it beautiful and filled to the brim, it had a super strong coffee flavor that was great to start the day!

This place is located on Demonbreun street between third and fourth. So many incredible choices here and I like that it is fairly quick service. The interior is as European as it gets and the staff is always so pleasant. Pay close attention to the coffee and drinks menu as it offers so many great options. Whatever they are doing to the scrambled eggs puts them top of the list. They are some of the best I have ever had. Also try the breakfast potatoes - they will keep you coming back.

I have heard such great things about Cafe Intermezzo and have always wanted to try it out. After leaving an event at Bridgestone, we finally decided to stop by for some dessert! It definitely exceeded my expectations. We were able to get a table right away, and when you walk in, there's a big dessert display case which is always exciting. Our waiter was extremely nice and was able to explain some questions we had about the menu. I ended up getting a cappuccino that had hazelnut spread (Nutella) in it, and it was fantastic! We also ordered the hot chocolate Berlin which was the same thing as me just in hot chocolate form. That was also incredible!! We all split the chocolate raspberry torte and the tiramisu and both were also fresh and delicious. The ambiance felt like I wasn't even in Nashville, and since it was cold, it definitely felt very cozy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back! It's definitely a little pricey, but I expect that in the downtown area.

I had a taste for something sweet and Cafe Intermezzo is where I ended up. I popped in to see what cheesecakes they had and settled for the white chocolate raspberry. I walked right in and went to the bar to place my order. Smooth and easy process. All I have to say is pull up! You will NOT be disappointed. They say the cookies n cream is a crowd favorite.

Stopped in for a pick me up before dinner and got to energy I needed. Had to circle back the following morning for the Cubano latte! Service has been great on both visits and everything was made fresh with quality ingredients.

The food, coffee and desserts were amazing and did I mention how amazing the ambiance is. Our server was epic. We celebrated my daughters birthday there and at the end she received a signed birthday card from the entire restaurant staff. Way to go!!! We will be back.

Really enjoyed my iced Intermezzo cappuccino at Café Intermezzo. The service was great--our server even mentioned she could make any of the drinks in an iced version, which was a nice touch. The coffee was smooth and refreshing, and the atmosphere made it a great place to relax!

White chocolate amaretto cheesecake, so light and fluffy and yummy

We had gone in to get coffee and it took them an extremely long time to serve our coffee. Coffee was pretty decent but not worth the wait.

I need everyone at Red Bicycle to understand that I was purchasing food, not adopting a small vegetable farm. Apparently every vegetable inside the burrito is an additional 75 cents. A TOMATO? 75 cents. PEPPERS? 75 cents. ONIONS? 75 cents. Brother, is this a breakfast burrito or a freaking build a bear? And listen, I am not the kind of person who complains about prices if the food is good. Charge me $40 for a burrito if that burrito changes my life. I will pay it. I will write a poem about it. I will name my firstborn after it. But this burrito? Jesus Christ. The chicken and turkey were basically theoretical. I saw no evidence that an actual bird had participated in the preparation of this meal. The cheese had apparently entered witness protection. The entire thing was so dry and bland that I briefly considered putting it in water and drinking it like a dehydrated emergency ration. I have eaten raw eggs with more enthusiasm. Then there was the front counter experience!!!!! I was with someone who isn't American, and he asked whether he could sit down or whether he needed to be seated. A completely reasonable question if you're unfamiliar with American restaurant etiquette. The woman working up front responded with the energy of someone who had just been asked to explain quantum physics to a raccoon. She wasn't technically rude. I want to be fair. But she had the warmth of a parking ticket. The entire interaction felt like we had interrupted her during an extremely important meeting with Satan. The vibe of the place itself was fine. Nothing offensive. Nothing particularly exciting either. Just kind of sitting there, existing. Two stars because the food was technically edible and nobody physically threw me out. Would I return? Yes. Under very specific circumstances: If every restaurant within a 200 mile radius had burned down, my house had no food, DoorDash had declared bankruptcy, the grocery stores were empty, and I was stranded in the wilderness with nothing but a half charged iPhone and the last remaining breakfast burrito from Red Bicycle. Even then, I would probably stare at it for 15 minutes and whisper: "Surely there is another way"
