When I was in line at nearby Out of Ordi a young lady near me spilled quite a bit of her drink on her hands and clothes. The poor kid was embarrassed. Please do better for your unsuspecting customers. Perhaps simply place the lid next to the drink when presenting it on the counter.

The pandan sauce definitely helped make it easier to eat. I probably wouldn't eat the bread by itself though because it was super hard and didn't really have much flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect from the toast, but it wasn't quite what I expected. I originally wanted to try the mango sticky rice flavored shaved ice because it looked really good in the photos, but unfortunately they didn't have it today. Just know that depending on how popular the collab is, and even if it isn't, this place has lines out the door and is quite fisted. Tables in front are always full of people. Drinks are hit and miss. Every latte I've gotten, even with mixing is grainy sweet coffee slop and the matcha isn't too great either (way better options in the area), but if you have a sweet tooth for pastries it's not too bad. Decadent cream donuts, mochi donuts, savory sausage donuts, and creme brulee ones too. Shareable, but something I'd need to down with milk or some water.

I think their taiyaki is the best in LA! They sell them in sets of 4 for $12. My Mom and my 2 brothers got the red bean-filled taiyaki and I got the Nutella and banana one, and it was absolutely delicious. The freshly baked taiyaki was so warm, and the melted chocolate Nutella inside was incredibly sweet and delicious. It was seriously so good! Every time I come here, the staff is always so friendly, and the taiyaki is always amazing. It's definitely one of my favorite dessert spots. This place used to be so popular that there would be a long line just to get taiyaki and bingsoo. There were still quite a lot of people here today, but we were able to order pretty quickly, and our taiyaki came out really fast too, which made me very happy. Back in the day, we would place our order and have to wait quite a while for the taiyaki to be ready. Today was definitely a much better experience!

I still enjoyed the mango as well but this one actually tasted a big more artificial, but the fresh mango was perfectly ripe & added a good amount of sweetness. Hojicha was good too but definitely more "nutty" - still great if you don't want anything fruity! Staff were nice and even tho there was a bit of a wait for the desserts, it didn't take too long for them to come out. We surprisingly got lucky with street parking but they also have valet parking available. Will 100% be back and trying the taiyaki next time!

Australian culinary influencer and Zumbo's Just Desserts winner Catherine Zhang is the head chef and you'll see videos playing inside the shop of her preparing the desserts. It's truly beautiful art and you're paying for it accordingly with prices varying from $13-15 for each dessert or more for bigger cake items. You can order easily on their touch screens which is nice for looking at all of the available options. I've tried two of the Petit Gateau (tiny cakes) - the My Man Go (Fresh mango, hazelnut praline, mango mousse) and the Berry3 (Strawberry coulis, pistachio praline, raspberry mousse, crimson velvet). In addition to being so darn beautiful, the flavor was just phenomenal. I loved both but slightly preferred the cubically adorable berry cake's taste. For me, it's the perfect size but you def need a spoon to break into the outer shell. Or if you want that TikTok/Instagram video biting into it, that works too. They also have drinks ranging from coffees to matchas to milk teas to tonics and teas ~ truly something to cover everyone's palate for imbibing. Evenings and weekends can get very busy so go on off hours or right at opening if you can. They have their own free parking just down the block from the storefront at 2850 W 7th St or you can try to find a slim pickens' street spot. Tu Cha is such a fan favorite for photos when friends are in town, but the prices are just a tad steep to be an everyday kind of spot.

The Loft is a great study spot with yummy desserts, good coffee, free wi-fi, and a really cool interior. I love the vaulted ceiling and the tall windows. I usually get a Vienna iced coffee during warm days, but the cappuccinos, expressos, and hot chocolates are good, too, particularly when it's cold. The only drawbacks are that The Loft has relatively few electrical outlets and only ONE unisex rest room, which is very nice but hard to use when so many people have to pee at the same time after feeling the effects of caffeine. I had a very disappointing experience at Loft Cafe today. Despite being a paying customer, I was treated with unnecessary rudeness by one of the staff members. Instead of providing basic service and courtesy, the worker chose to criticize me personally, which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I basically come here 3x a week. One of the most solid Ktown cafes. The cakes are great, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere/ambiance of the space is perfect for chilling or getting work done. I stopped here last night with friends to decompress and discuss the recent broadcast of the first presidential campaign's debate, and we found The Loft pretty packed. So, we decided to sit in the back patio. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and we all found the back patio a nice, relaxing spot just to chat about what we witnessed on TV and catch up on each other's life. With free wi-fi and free parking, Loft Cafe remains my favorite coffee house in K-Town. The great service, relaxing ambiance, cool jazz, and yummy desserts & coffee drinks/juices always make me smile. The only think this place lacks is more than ONE rest room! I always spot by and get a cupcake when I am in the area. The cupcakes tend to be fresh because of cupcake turnover. If you go on a weekend night, there may be a line. Got the Dubai choco einspänner and the peanut butter einspänner: the former was tasty enough, although I didn't quite get the Dubai chocolate vision it was going for: while the pistachio cream was spot-on, I think there wasn't enough chocolate to separate it from the coffee base, and I mostly just tasted coffee. Not bad, but not quite what I was expecting. However, the peanut butter einspänner was fantastic: it was like drinking liquified peanut butter! There was also a roasted flavor profile to it, which created complexity in the drink. Also found the peanut crumbs on top a lovely touch. Overall, I'd go to Coffee Signal for the peanut einspänner alone!

Obsessed with their London Fog with Cream Top. My favorite and has slowly been my weekly treat. They have pastries and roll cake and the owner and staff are friendly and efficient. There are plenty of places to sit and you see people studying, intimately chatting or just reading.

The barista was nice and the order came out promptly. From the street the coffee shop doesn't look too big but the interior is actually quite large. The vibe is super cozy and they have different areas to study, work, or catch up with a friends. The design is minimalist and pretty relaxing, I can definitely see spending a couple of hours here.

Dare I say, the best einspänner in ktown. I've been coming here for years, and their cold brew is so light with a slight sourness (but not tooo overwhelming for the casual/novice drinker). I will note, NBC strays a bit more desserty - but not as much + as sweet as some other spots. Perhaps the only thing that kinda sucks is the parking situation but I promise you, it's worth it. I just wish the misugaru flavor was stronger but overall still pairs well with the coffee. dubai cream top coffee (3.5/5): I think this one was a seasonal drink? Personally I wasn't the biggest fan of this drink, I felt the flavors didn't rly pair well with each other. I did like the crunchy bits they put on the cream top tho. service: staff is friendly and the drinks come out pretty quickly. we went on a saturday late morning and it wasn't busy. they do have wifi available. seating: plenty of seating available. parking: didn't see a parking lot but plenty of street or neighborhood parking available.

This is the first time I didnt have a good experience with the flavor. :( Top of the einspanner - fantastic. However the strawberry puree was too bitter for my taste. I wanted to call to just let anyone know if they could just check the batch. But unfortunately theres no number to contact. Honestly it just needs to be more sweetened is all. Hopefully owners/staff is able to see this so they can taste test the strawberry puree. Otherwise, still love this place!

The interior felt beat-up and cluttered, more like a store selling old vintage furniture and random junk than a coffee shop. But the real problem started when I ordered a latte. The milk tasted extremely sour. I politely told the man working there that the milk tasted sour and asked if he could make me another coffee. I also asked to see the milk carton because I wanted to make sure the milk wasn't expired. Instead of simply showing me the carton or replacing my drink, he became incredibly aggressive. He started yelling at me and cursing in Korean. I was there with a Korean-speaking friend who understood what he was saying. According to her, he was telling his wife in Korean to take away the carton of milk and also to delete the camera footage. He then continued yelling and told me to get out. I couldn't believe the reaction. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable or trying to cause a problem. I simply wanted to know whether the milk was expired and have my latte remade because it tasted sour. Serving a customer sour-tasting milk is bad enough. But then refusing to show the milk carton, telling someone to take it away, telling someone to delete the camera footage, and responding to a simple complaint by yelling and cursing made the experience far worse. There are far too many good coffee shops in Los Angeles to tolerate this kind of treatment. I would never return, and based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this place.

I ordered a Gibraltar and overall it was a solid drink with a nice presentation. The latte art was…read moreclean, the milk was initially well integrated, and the drink started with decent body and texture. The biggest issue was temperature. It was served hotter than a Gibraltar should be, which made it difficult to pick up the coffee's sweetness and flavor nuances early on. The heat overpowered the cup and muted much of what the coffee had to offer. As the drink cooled, more character started to come through, but the body and texture began to thin out through the middle of the cup. The drink became noticeably more watery and didn't retain its crema and microfoam particularly well, causing it to lose some of the structure and richness it had when first served. Overall, a Solid Gibraltar with good fundamentals and a nice presentation.

Incredible just incredible!…read more I was driving around town and was in need of a coffee treat. Saw the reviews, came here and almost didn't leave the car. The shopping center felt sad and run down. Once I figured out how to get inside, I was greeted by a friendly nod and an amazing coffee menu. It was hard to decide but I ventured for Rosemary Bee and was blown away by the overall quality of coffee. The barista is a coffee artist. You can see how I gulped half of it before taking the photo. I wish I lived closer -- this would easily be my regular coffee spot. I want to try everything.
