Got the Dubai choco einspänner and the peanut butter einspänner: the former was tasty enough, although I didn't quite get the Dubai chocolate vision it was going for: while the pistachio cream was spot-on, I think there wasn't enough chocolate to separate it from the coffee base, and I mostly just tasted coffee. Not bad, but not quite what I was expecting. However, the peanut butter einspänner was fantastic: it was like drinking liquified peanut butter! There was also a roasted flavor profile to it, which created complexity in the drink. Also found the peanut crumbs on top a lovely touch. Came here to do some work on a Sunday afternoon. I like to do serious work in coffee shops, so I always pay attention to whether they have plenty of outlets. This place passed the outlet test with flying colors! Decent amount of seating, and I loved the colorful decor. The hazelnut espresso cake was decent, but I would've loved for it to be a bit warmer. The iced hibiscus tea was refreshing, and the barista was very nice. There's a parking lot and free street parking available. Unfortunately this place was a miss for me. The lattes only come with one shot of espresso which I find a little odd since the standard is two so I had to pay even extra to get a triple shot. This place has several drink selections but I went with the ice cream Einspanner & my boyfriend ordered the Dubai chocolate Einspanner. We both loved our drinks. The consistency and thickness of both drinks were good, but the flavors just didn't do it for us. The Toffee Einspanner didn't really taste like toffee, which was disappointing, and the Dubai Chocolate was just okay. nothing special. For a place that seems to specialize in unique coffee drinks, I was expecting bolder, more distinct flavors. the drinks were decent but underwhelming. My next favorite cafe study is LA is here! Three criteria: Free parking, good food, strong wifi! I didn't think this place was good because it was pretty viral for a while but I was wrong. They have so many drinks combinations and all looks good. I chose the Cloud Strawberry Latte to take a break from matcha and girl it was such an amazing choice. Subtle sweetness pair with fresh strawberry puree and cream top with dried strawberries, just a masterpiece and gave me enough caffein! (and the drink is sooo beautiful too) I ordered a Mayo Egg Croffle and I thought it might be weird because croffle is usually a dessert, but the creamy egg mayo really complimented well with the sweet croffle for a light lunch. Bonus point is it's really crispy no matter how long you left out so taste always freshhhh (girl's a slow eater :( ) Interior is nice and clean. Strong wifi, I stayed for 4 hours to study and when I came at 11 it was no one so pretty solid studying spot. There was a small parking lot but no valet parking which is a gem in LA! Went Sunday around noon and found street parking since the lot was full.. Walked in, smattering of a few ppl inside, got my order real quick. Added $1 tip so it came out to a lil over $9. Delicious creamy over ice with yummy texture from the nuts & knafeh - the coffee was strong but not sharp and the dubai chocolate topping was sooo good! Tried a little before mixing it all.
