I genuinely don't understand how this place is not getting more attention. Every drink I've had here is a hit. They really understand pairings and what works well with coffee. Dare I say, the best einspänner in ktown. I've been coming here for years, and their cold brew is so light with a slight sourness (but not tooo overwhelming for the casual/novice drinker). I will note, NBC strays a bit more desserty - but not as much + as sweet as some other spots. Perhaps the only thing that kinda sucks is the parking situation but I promise you, it's worth it. overall: I love the variety of drinks and flavors they offer. creamy grain coffee (4/5): they use misugaru for the grain powder. the coffee is pretty standard but I like that it's not sour. I just wish the misugaru flavor was stronger but overall still pairs well with the coffee. dubai cream top coffee (3.5/5): I think this one was a seasonal drink? Personally I wasn't the biggest fan of this drink, I felt the flavors didn't rly pair well with each other. Nothing But Coffee is definitely a hidden gem in Ktown and is one of my favorite cafes to get some work or studying done! The cafe has a cute, peaceful, and quiet ambiance and the service is always so kind and gracious. They also have free Wifi, outlets, and even have a small parking lot in the back. I stopped by to grab a coffee and get some work done. I ordered the matcha latte with almond milk. When asked if I want it sweetened I said lightly. I was very surprised they charged $1 for milk and $.50 for agave. He probably used a teaspoon of agave in this drink - I can't recall ever being charged for adding agave to a drink. So the matcha latte was $8.50 and I added $1 for a tip. The matcha was pretty good but not the best I've ever had. Next time, I'll try one of their lattes. Their wifi was good. There is a good amount of seating for a small cafe. It's in a location with not many other places with wifi so I would maybe go back but I'll bring a packet of sugar in my purse next time. read more

By nature of being on the western edge of Ktown, this place doesn't get as much foot traffic, but the interior is very cute and looks like a fun place to work. If I tell you the number of times I've driven by Nothing But Coffee and haven't stopped, you would be ashamed of me. Especially now that I realize the coffee is delicious and they don't have all the lines of other spots in KTown. Good for me that NBC is so discreet. They are a bit off the beaten path so don't get quite as much foot traffic. I walked in for a blended cold brew and walked out with my drink in less than just a couple minutes. The place was relatively quiet for a Saturday afternoon, if compared to other atypical coffee shops in the area. Blessing in disguise, meaning swift service and nice peaceful space. They offered some peculiar beverage selection including those coming with toffee flavor, truffle, etc. I was bit mainstream, going for their NBC Cold Brew, their version of house cold brew with maple syrup and your choice of milk for which I picked almond. It's decent cup with just right sweetness, though sometimes the idea of using maple syrup might make people worried it ended being too sweet but I would say this one was great. Never heard nor tried Earl Grey mocha before lol Parking was a hassle. There was a parking in the back, and there were signs in each spot. There were only like 2 parking spots for this place. Meter parking was not avail because of construction. I had to go to the meter parking near TOm & Tom. I am not sure why I didn't order the truffle latte. When there, I decided to go with their toffee latte and their popular charcoal latte. The gal said she prefers the charcoal latte hot. Ok! Hot it is lol I think the toffee latte was even better than their popular charcoal latte. The cream top on the toffee latte was different from other cream. It was somewhat addictive the first few sips lol it did end up being too creamy for me. It was good, tho. The charcoal didn't have much flavor to it. Tasted like a reg hot latte, but charcoal color. The price was a bit high. A reg cup at other coffee places ranges about $6 to $7. This place was $6.25 each latte, but the cup size was a lot smaller. I wasn't lying when I said I'm falling in love with coffee because my cafe hopping has officially started. I drank this coffee at 5 p.m. and I think I'm learning that I shouldn't have caffeine too late oops. BUT it was worth it since the charcoal latte is one of their most popular drinks. The cashier warmed it up for me - super yummy and decently priced! The charcoal latte is on the expensive side at $6, but that's pretty cheap considering I stayed for a few hours and was able to plug in my phone and computer to charge. The only downside is parking. There is a lot in the back, but only 2 spots are dedicated to the store. I was lucky enough to snag one. This coffee shop has some of the best cold foam I've ever had. We ordered an NBC Cream Cold Brew and the cold foam with perfectly sweetened with a thick texture that stayed intact. When it dissolves, it adds cream to the cold brew (so, personally, I'm glad I opted out of getting the toffee cream since that already comes with oat milk). The place is spacious, minimalistic.
