Stopped in here a Saturday morning after flying in for a work trip. This cafe was near my hotel and I thought I would stop in for some breakfast before getting ready for an event at the convention center. The food and drinks were great, but the service could have been a little better. I ordered an egg, cheese and sausage bagel sandwich and a smoothie. There was only 1 employee working and many people waiting for breakfast sandwiches and coffees. It took about 20 minutes for food and then the employee forgot about my drink so that took some extra time to get. Overall the employee was nice and food was great! I got the bigwich on a croissant and it was absolutely the best thing I might have ever eaten. Came here when I was visiting ATL for work to grab breakfast to go. I tried their specialty HoneyBee latte, which was decent. I also had their BEC on a croissant - very good. Everything was fresh and freshly prepared. Staff was very friendly. This is a cute cafe, but a tad pricey. I ordered 1 medium drink and 2 BECs for about $16 and then a tip. The only reason this has two stars is because its got a cute atmosphere and the location was close to me. However, the coffee, the staff, and the seating is awful. For two small iced coffees, I paid almost $15! And the kicker is neither me nor my boyfriend finished our coffees because they were so gross. The coffee was practically water and I'm pretty sure they forgot to add both the syrup and milk to the drinks. It was super disappointing. Also, the staff was rude and despite only having to make two drinks (no one else was even in cafe), it look close to 15 minutes for us to get our drinks. Lastly, the seating was awful, such a cute cafe and you only have like three seats? Don't waste your time here, find something better, or just go to Starbucks. read more

Stumbled across this cute little coffee shop in downtown Atlanta, the other day. It's centrally located near GSU, CNN, Centennial Park, Underground Atlanta, and much more. Cafe is in a historical building off of Forsyth street, that had lot of character. It was like a nook within the building with plenty of seating both inside the cafe and outside(still within the building) to grab a quick bite and a drink. During my visit, I had the chai tea latte, which I would highly recommend! They also had interesting speciality coffee machines for dutch coffee and siphon coffee that I would want to try next time~ Other things that I've noticed (on the plus side): - 100% on food inspection (Uh, awesome!) - GSU students get 10% discount with ID (Doesn't apply to me, but doesn't hurt) - Free wifi (57forsyth) - Friendly staff! No frills coffee shop, you get what you see type of place. I have to thank the barista there, for working overtime for me after a miserable day, she felt so bad, she even discounted me. There are a few indoor tables, and they have some interesting varieties of flavors, when I am downtown I frequent this place. Due to covid I def do not get down here as much. read more

Convenient walking distance and similarly priced to a Starbucks. Menu was extensive but what seemed to be a staffing issue, only basic breakfast sandwiches were available. The person serving was surprisingly pleasant. I would have locked the doors and cried in a fetal position. There was a line of at least 5 customers and people never seemed to stop coming in. There is limited seating but strong WiFi. There's additional seating in the beautiful Healey Building. The egg sandwich was fine. The coffee did not seemed to be an actual espresso but more of a syrup concoction. It was caffeinated and given the lack of help, acceptable for the situation. The tea selection, not loose, was pretty good. It seems like this place would get 5 stars if they were at full capacity. Perhaps impacts of COVID have allowed customers to allow more grace and flexibility for various modifications to expectations. It might have also given people like this brave person the skills to persevere through obstacles presented. We have given this place plenty of time/suggestions to improve and everytime we go it seems to be even worse. We try to support this business as a small neighborhood business and also because we really need a coffee place in our neighborhood but some of us are done and won't spend our money here anymore. The last time it took 15 minutes to get a small plain coffee...some people waited more than 30 minutes for a sandwich. Some people asked for a refund after waiting so long. The lavender latte was real nice, it wasn't too strong, but had such lovely mellow notes of the lavender, it made me feel so feminine and lovely just sipping on it. We were on a long layover in Atlanta (8 hours) and looking for a place to rest our feet and replenish the sugar and caffeine levels after trekking around Centennial Olympic Park and surrounding areas. This location allowed us to walk a little more and to see a little more of Atlantas buildings and people. The address shows up as being on Forsyth, but the entrance is actually on Walton. Note well if you're unfamiliar with the location or asking your Uber / taxi driver to meet you out front! There was only one staff onsite when we visited on a (good) Friday long weekend, but he was very friendly and hospitable despite the busy store. We enjoyed our (almond milk, regular milk, and ginger coconut) lattes, lemon tart, and cinnamon roll pastries. We also ordered the two bite brownie but it was very old / should have been stored away from the other pastries. It had been stored with the lemon tart, quinoa pastry and other pastry and the moisture had migrated to the other pastries and starches had retrograded. Still chocolatey but the texture was gross. Would still recommend this cute little spot to rest from the rain, sun and noise. read more
