The menu and photos were very deceiving. We ordered PB&J French toast expecting something unique. What we got was three thin slices of French toast with peanut butter and jelly scooped on top for $10. We are visiting from Texas and try really hard to support local businesses and not chains but this time was disappointing. read more

FANTASTIC experience(s)! My 15 yr old and i were in town for a baseball tournament and stopped to grab coffee and a bite to go around 630am. I had the most amazing lavendar latte and my son had a breakfast sandwich, which he later told me was the best he has ever had! The owner/manager noticed my son in a bb uniform and made a makeshift cooler for the waters we purchased for our day in the sun- how thoughtful!! We came back on our way out of town because i wanted to try the Honeybee latte, which the barista proudly topped off with an ornamental leaf in the foam. Delighted to find a new place to have coffee or lunch and hang out in Smyrna. Also looking forward to trying their beer and wine selection as well as breakfast. I can't think of any other place in our area as cozy and inviting as this new cafe which features the work of local artists on the walls, sofa and chairs as well as table seating, wifi, and best of all a friendly and accommodating staff. I had the tomato basil soup (delicious!) with the turkey pesto sandwich. I don't do bread, and the kitchen was happy to serve my "sandwich" on the plate with lettuce, etc.- sundried tomato, pesto ... Really yummy. We hung out so long that we eventually ordered coffees, too, and enjoyed fresh brewed dark roast. So good! Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Cafe Lucia is located in the beautiful area of downtown Smyrna. A hometown cafe, that's a definite asset to the Smyrna community. The sandwiches and coffee is simple amazing. You can stop in to enjoy coffee in the morning, and return in the evening to enjoy open mic. Beautiful artwork displays that's available for purchase. Cafe Lucia is a great addition to Smyrna! Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly. I particularly love their light roast coffee. They also have some wonderful soups, and the breakfast sandwiches are top notch. I had an eye appointment at a place in nearby Smyrna (I know, I know, I need to Yelp review that too!), and wanted to grab a bite to eat for lunch. I was looking for simple, quick and easy and found just the right café fulfilling all three requirements. I got a nice parallel parking spot out front of the café. The place is cute, it has an eclectic artsy feel inside with a fun arrangement of different chairs and tables and art that can be purchased. My husband and I were quickly greeted by the friendly staff and asked if this was our first visit, which it was. We each got a sandwich, which came with an option to have a pretzel bagel in place of the bread, yesssss! I also got a smoothie, because, well, I'm obsessed, even in the middle of winter. They use fresh muddled fruit for them, which I loved. They sell beer and wine here too, so it'd make for a cute after dinner spot for a few drinks. Overall we found the place to be pretty adorable, with a super friendly staff! We look forward to more delicious pretzel bagel sandwiches in our future! read more

I've been able to visit Cafe Lucia a few times since it's grand opening and I can say that it's one of my favorite coffee spots in Smyrna. I'm a writer and love visiting places that have a calm and inviting atmosphere that doesn't disturb the writing process, on top of the fact that the coffee that they serve has always been on point! I haven't had the chance to try any of the food yet but I've only heard great things. The owner of the location has always been warm and inviting as well. One of the pluses is that they have started to have Open Mic nights, so if you're an artist like myself you'd enjoy stopping by and checking it out. Even if you want to just drop in for a cup of coffee, purchase some paintings, and watch a little bit of tv! Definitely recommend! read more
