Cafe Mix is one of my favorite restaurants in Mesa, AZ! The staff is always friendly and the food is consistenly great!

My husband and I LOVE Cafe Mix! We have been going since it opened and it never gets old or changes at all. We used to go to Bellagio that is in the same complex but after we discovered Cafe Mix we haven't been back at all. My husband always gets the Greek salad with gyro and says it's the best salad he's ever had. I switch it up between the gyro and chicken dinner plate, the falafel wrap and the gyro. The crispy chicken salad is really good too. The owner is always very nice and I am impressed with his customer service and memory. We didn't get a part of our takeout order once and I called just to tell them the mistake and then the next time we ordered he remembered and gave us the same thing for free with extra pita bread! We rarely get to actually go there and eat being that our son is 15 months old and a handful but last time we did the owner gave us two pieces of their delicious baklava for free! Love this place and everyone should try it! read more

This is a family favorite for us and our adult kids. The service is always great, and the food is even better. We particularly love the combo dinner for two, which is salads, an assortment of meats, rice, pita bread, and sauces for $25. The meats are savory, flavorful and delicious. The rice is always perfect with a hint of saffron. Baklava is included, and it is just as good (maybe better) as my Lebanese grandmother made with all the aunties. read more

The cheapest trip to Greece you will ever take!! OPA! You need to go and see for yourself - everything is wonderful - Food Network needs to feature this place for the Falafel alone - let alone their diverse menu with a variety of everything from Greek to American style - I have never had something there I or any of my famly, friends did not like it all is really well done cuisine for little money. The cafe decor is high end as well as the cleanliness of the place very nice! Everyone is friendly and you can see how much pride they have in their culture throught the food itself - Greek or American. They really accommodate you and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourself as well as make some great suggestions if you are new to Greek food in general. There are few places to go these days that really hit the mark all around - it is Mesa's best kept secret - Food Network needs to pop in on them and do a feature......worth it and more thank you Cafe Mix! read more

Cafe Mix is a lower priced alternative to Bellagio's. The Hummus and pita chips is some of the best I've had. The rest of the menu is a different story. Be aware the pickles they use are not the typical oversweet pickle you may be used to, they tend to more brine-y and may make the pita sandwiches taste bitter. Don't let that put you off, the felafel pita is very good. I just wish the chips weren't a separate item with the pitas. It feels like you're being nickel and dimed when the restaurant does that. So it's got its good points and its bad, at least the prices are reasonable. read more

We've been going to Café Mix since it first opened, and it seems to get better each time. The food is healthy, fresh and delicious. We come at least once a week, and never get tired of the food. I find everybody there to be very friendly. Because I come there so often, I usually don't even have to tell them what I want, as I have the same great Greek salad with chicken every time. Its nice to know that there's a local place where the food is always good, service is relatively quick, and the staff is friendly. Over the years I have brought many friends for lunch there, and they all come back either with or without me. I wish there were more restaurants in this area like them. read more

Also to top it off I have always experienced superb service and observed the same respect shown to other customers. Food is excellent and I would certainly give them a much better rating if the food was the whole experience. I one point, I was eating here at least once a week and it was a very rare sight to see a smile from anyone working here. I have finally reached a point were I will no longer eat here, not because of the food, but because I really don't feel appreciated as a customer. Today was the final straw when my wife and I decided to grab something quickly to go because of a limited amount of time before we went back to our perspective jobs. We found we had about 10 extra minutes, so we decided to sit at a table outside and enjoy some time eating together before we left. The woman who serves the food there came to our table and told us that to go packaging is To GO! and that if we were eating there it needed to be plated. That just really cemented the fact to me that they don't care about there customers and that we are just a burden to them. Great food - Terrible customer service. read more

Let me tell you people if you like fresh health food than cafe mix is right for you. I wish there was a cafe mix on every corner of every street. For the past 9 months I been trying to change my lifestyle of eating. This means I need to consume way less food from restaurants and fast food joints. Cafe Mix to me is just like eating at home with all fresh ingredients with no added fattening substances. I eat at cafe mix as much as possible and I have seen a significant weight loss and I feel better. The staff there will even prepare a meal special for you to fit your weight loss goals. If you want to cut or lower your carbs they make substitutions to fit your needs. I have never eaten chicken or beef that good in my life. The chicken can be sliced through with a butter knife with hardly any effort. So rather your looking for healthy, greek, american food or a clean and a nice atmosphere cafe mix is the way to go. read more
