It's a good thing I don't live close to here or I'd spend a good chunk of my paycheck here. They've nailed the perfect matcha and Vietnamese coffee for Arizona. There's a parking lot, but it can get quite busy on weekends. I've never seen a matcha with mango sticky rice, but they've captured it well to the point it's almost like dessert. Once I learned their new Aloha Matcha special consisted of passion fruit, mango, and earl grey - I couldn't order this fast enough. There's free WiFi to connect to if you plan on staying longer!

Just another amazing experience at Cafe Mollie! This time we got two egg coffees and two salt coffees. In all my visits here, nothing on the menu is a miss. Staff is friendly and inviting, and they create a welcoming environment in their little store.

Ube coffee was delicious! Definitely worth stopping in for. Came in Wednesday before noon and there was a good amount of foot traffic. Lots of laptop folks working so it felt like a chill study/work spot. The lady who took my order was really nice and even told me about flavor options not listed on the menu. I already knew I wanted the ube coffee though. She mentioned it's sweetened with condensed milk and doesn't use regular milk... I said BET. So good. The space is bright and modern with plants, big windows, and lots of seating. Cute place to hang out for a bit. I'd definitely come back to try more coffee, matcha, and their açaí bowls. Only bummer was they don't have any pastries.

Visiting Arizona and had to try this cafe! Loved ube matcha and ube latte. Wished there was more ube in the drinks, but everyone tasted delicious. Service was pretty quick, and the cafe was cute with a few seats inside. Free parking at the lot in front. If I visit Arizona again, I'll definitely go back!

Great coffee spot I found when trying to pick a happy-medium place to meet a friend. They serve delicious Vietnamese coffees and teas. I had the Thai tea, and my friend ordered the coconut coffee. She's vegan, and although the menu leans heavily toward milk-based drinks, she really appreciated the coconut cream and alternative milk options available. The space is very open and welcoming, making it a nice place to sit and chat. They also have their own parking lot, shared with a few other businesses in the same plaza, which makes it convenient to visit.

Excellent! Such a cute place! I love the atmosphere. Excellent customer service! They have an order kiosk if you don't feel like taking to anyone. I had a large iced strawberry matcha latte less sweet and it was probably one of the best I've ever had. I got my mom an iced caramel macchiato and it was great! I will be back! I want to try more things!

Pretty legit coffee bar. I dig it! I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and wanted a pick me up and was really impressed by their very creative menu. They had things like Vietnamese egg coffee and many different options for matcha. Initially, I was planning on a matcha drink as I can't have coffee after 2pm or I'll be bouncing off the wall and I enjoy my sleep immensely. I saw that they have a brown sugar hojicha and I've been wanting a hojicha drink since I came back from Vegas, so I was looking forward to this. My brown sugar hojicha latte was very good. I really liked it, nutty and flavorful! I'll definitely be back again and will definitely try some of their other drinks too! The ambiance is cute too and def would stop in too if I needed a place to get work done or meet friends.

There's a small parking lot infront but it was pretty packed We ordered the matcha pandan with whole milk (3/5) there is a light matcha and a light pandan taste but pretty bland. I wish it was more flavorful. Costed $7.5 We also had the turmeric ginger tea no sugar iced. It was bland but probably because the ice melted. Would get it hot next time (4/5). It was a tea bag, I think this was $4.5?

Wowowowow, this Vietnamese matcha/coffee shop is so good! Last time, I got the mango sticky rice matcha and it was soo addicting, but today I decided to try the pandan matcha and the salted coffee. Both were sooo delicious. I especially loved the pandan cold foam, it pairs perfectly with the matcha. The salted Vietnamese coffee comes with dark roast, coconut cream, milk, and a salted vanilla cold foam. It's strong, rich, and absolutely delicious. Service was super quick and efficient, and the inside was packed with people hanging out or getting work done. I'd definitely come back again!

Cafe Mollie is my favorite coffee shop in Phoenix! All of the flavors are so good and actually taste like whatever the flavor is. Every single drink I've gotten here has been amazing. I haven't had one bad drink in the 6+ months I've come here. My favorites are the ube coffee, the seasonal pumpkin coffee, and black sesame banana coffee (also seasonal). It is a bit small and can get crowded on weekend, but they keep the line moving fast.

I've been seeing Cafe Mollie pop up on social media a-lot lately, and now I understand why. I recently came by and ordered one of the Vietnamese pumpkin drinks they had on special and it was perfect!!!! The Vietnamese coffee was smooth and strong, and then the pumpkin cold brew on top was the perfect touch. Monica and Eve were really helpful and friendly. This place also has seating indoors, a great place to chill or get some work done. I came by here on a weekday around 9am and it was pretty slow. This place is actually known for their matcha, I can't wait to come back and try some.

So this is a little place that is super cute The barista who helped us was named Joi and she was very helpful and kind. I got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha It tasted just like mango sticky rice and even had real pieces of mango in it. My husband got the coconut latte iced and it was tasty. you could have still taste the coffee and that's important to me. My daughter got a pumpkin Vietnamese coffee and the pumpkin cold foam was so much better than Starbucks. There is plenty of parking but not much seating in the cafe. Hope you will visit this cute little cafe soon.

Cute cafe located in Phoenix! This place is in a shopping center along with a few other businesses, and there is plenty of parking out front. It was fairly busy when we went on a Saturday morning, however there were a good amount of seats open. The place is very aesthetic, with white/beige decor and green plants throughout. It give a a nice cozy, homey feeling. We ordered a strawberry matcha and a pandan matcha. It was okay, not the best we've had but not the worst either. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their banana pudding matcha. I wish I saw that they had this before I ordered! Overall, it was a great experience and glad I finally got to try this cafe out. Would love to stop by again and bring my laptop when I need to get some work done :)

Cute spot and a decent sized space for a coffee shop. Friendly baristas who answered all of our questions. Fairly reasonably priced in my opinion for a local cafe. My mom got the coconut latte and really liked it. I got the Saigon Latte which is like a Vietnamese latte and it's quite tasty. Not too sweet, just like I like it. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have pastries. They had banh mi burritos, but I just wanted a muffin or croissant or something. Will be back to try more coffee, especially any seasonal specials. read more

This place is outstanding! I LOVE their original flavors. I am a big matcha fan and they definitely use ceremonial matcha which is rare it seems at most places. We tried their mojito matcha which is made with sparkling water instead of milk and it was so refreshing and good! I would have never thought to do that with matcha! It's a must try for matcha lovers! Then we tried the blueberry basil matcha and wow!!! Sooooo good! I love the creativity ! And their taro flavoring is so good! It's not fake it's real taro and my kids absolutely loved it! The service was amazing the ladies were so friendly and helpful! The place is super clean and well kept up with. The decor is beautiful, there are so many plants set in front of the white-washed brick walls. I tried the iced banana mocha latte, which was yummy. They don't have outdoor seating, but there are a couple chairs in the courtyard. My one issue was where I was sitting in the shop, there were a lot of small gnats flying around, which was pretty bothersome when I was trying to work on things. It may be from some of the plants nearby and it may only be in the area next to the register. Otherwise a great place to grab some coffee! read more

After returning to Cafe Mollie months after their opening, I must say, I am VERY impressed! I ordered a tiramisu matcha milk tea with oat milk, and I was stunned at how delicious this drink was. The mascarpone cream on top, topped with cocoa powder, offered a subtle creaminess and likeness to tiramisu without taking away from the matcha flavor. I'm sitting in the cafe writing this review, and I am already considering ordering a second drink to-go before they close. I also ordered a honey pistachio cookie. It was delightful, and not too sweet (the best compliment for desserts according to Asian people like me lol). The texture was chewy in the middle with a crisp on the edges, and wasn't too cake-like! My one qualm right now would be... there are small fruit flies in some areas of the store. The cafe appears to be very clean, so I suspect that they may be attracted to the plants around the cafe. Not much you can do about small bugs on plants, and thankfully they're not terribly bothersome, but this may be an area for improvement that the owners can consider! (But please don't take away the plants - they're a vibe!) read more

Cafe Mollie is an adorable local coffee shop with friendly baristas, solid drinks (the peppermint mocha is so rich!), and a fun outdoor lawn where you can camp out on a blanket for a coffee picnic while chatting and watching children arrive for their ballet classes at the dance studio next door. Indoor décor is cute as well. Curious about the "plant serial killer" theme? According to one of the baristas, who may or may not have just been telling the truth, the owner is really good with plants (hence the huge number of healthy happy looking live plants throughout the small shop) but the baristas are not - apparently they keep attempting to kill the plants and the owner repeatedly saves them. Good to know that someone's able to keep a small green space alive in the middle of the desert. :) Haven't tried the baked goods yet, but they look delicious. I'll be back! read more

Always open to support local, but work on your customer service! Ended up leaving without ordering due to the woman working the cash register during open on 4/19/25. She was rude and I was not about to put my money here. Must be good though because the line was out the door. Call me old school, but restaurants don't deserve our business without kind service. read more

Cafe Mollie has become a staple for me. I have branched out but always come back to the tried and true - ube latte. The mango sticky rice matcha is excellent as well. I like the black sesame latte, too. If you don't like strong Vietnamese coffee .. you won't like this place. But, if you like strong coffee, strong flavors and consistent drinks .. this place is worth checking out. I put my neighbors onto it .. they're both strict vegan and both LOVE this place. Always find something good here. Only thing I can say is that I wish they made their Bahn Mi with tofu. I don't eat meat .. and I tried the egg one but didn't love it. The bread and veggies were great though! As far as service goes -- I've not had an issue here. I was curious to look at negative reviews (because I'm thinking how could you not love this place) and saw some reviews mentioning the service isn't friendly. Honestly .. I just don't care. I'll give the energy I'm given. Literally, been here a dozen times now and my drink has been the exact same as the first day .. so .. I don't care if the barista isn't giving me a big warm welcome and round of applause when I come in. The vibes are good here .. could sit and have coffee with a friend. Never could get work done here though .. it's too loud and busy during the day. Not to mention, this is a family business. I saw the family who owns it the other day setting up an additional kisok to take orders since the line was out the door. Their kids were involved .. a family affair. Now THAT is something I can support. Prices are higher than other cafes, yes .. but the product is unique and the flavors are unmatched. All considered .. the price is justified considering the competition. Until this place takes a full nose dive (hopefully it doesn't) .. it'll be on my short list of repeat cafes in PHX. read more

Worst dirty chai of my life. The baristas all are so clueless and slow. The place is cute but it that's all I can say positively. There's no reason why my dirty chai should be grainy and taste like bitter nastiness. I ordered a dirty chai with extra ice and whatever they gave me was less ice than a normal iced drink. Terrible. Really picturesque coffee shop with great ambience and decor. Super friendly staff as well! I work remotely and I sometimes enjoy doing some work from different coffee shops for a change of environment. Really relaxing and a great spot to get some work done. I ordered the Vietnamese egg coffee. I didn't think the egg foam added much to the coffee, in neither taste nor texture. The Vietnamese coffee itself was very good though. Strong coffee punch with the right amount of sweetness. My girlfriend ordered the taro latte and we were both impressed! Great taro flavored that didn't feel artificial or powdery. I look forward to visiting again to try their other drinks. read more

We decided that we needed to try this coffee shop as it is easily accessible on 16th Street and has a quite large parking shared by about a half dozen businesses. The menu is quite interesting especially if you a fan of different types of tea. They have monthly special drinks. I opted to have an oat milk latte as it was one of the four milk choices. It was delightfully smooth and needed no flavor enhancement. We there there at 2 pm and there were a few people drinking coffee and studying in the inside seating area. If you like plants, you will enjoy the decor. I will definitely return to try one of their special coffees. read more

This was my second time coming in. Loved the taro latte with oat milk. Today when I came in they were out of taro. Kinda bummed I was scrambling to figure out an alternative drink to order. One of the baristas (she was white) chimed in because she could tell I was struggling. I told her I was vegan so I was trying to find something I could get and once I said that she replied very rudely with idk all you can get them is a basic latte with alternative milk. I ended up not ordering and just leaving. Won't be back. It's really disappointing to be treated like that considering I know that there are many ppl that are vegan. Wish she would have been more accommodating. read more

Was referred here by a couple different people telling me they had the best matcha. The first time I went I tried the mango sticky rice, i was wrong to do so. It was chunky and not good at all. Honestly could not even drink it. I decided to give it another try and just stick to a basic, vanilla honey. I was again very disappointed. read more

I wish I took a picture of my egg coffee!! So gorgeous - I was recommended the egg coffee by a team member (who was very nice and welcoming) and I am in love with it! It's sweetened condensed milk, splash of half and half, Vietnamese coffee, and an egg custard foam thing that sort of resembles crème brûlée. Don't let the egg part scare you - it really is more like a crème brûlée taste not egg. I love the ice too, it's smaller crunchy ice so the coffee wasn't watered down (thank goodness). I visited Cafe Mollie for the first time yesterday. It was quiet when I walked in a nice young girl emerged from the back to welcome me. I ordered a chai tea latte hot in 16 oz. It was more spiced than normal but I kind of liked it, something unique. I first sat inside for about 45 minutes charging my laptop. The ambiance was relaxing and picturesque, very Instagram worthy. I loved the marble top tables and plants but the plants caused little gnats to fly around which is why I eventually moved outside. Outside is very cute too, they have a turf courtyard abs blankets in a basket to borrow at your leisure to sit/lay on the turf. If you do go outside I suggest choosing a spot close to cafe mollie because the WiFi gets weaker the farther you get of course, abs there isn't WiFi around the whole courtyard. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed my coffee. I will definitely be going back. read more

Omg guys this is such a cute space! They use Cartel Coffee, but they also have plenty of other food and drinks for you to try~ I came strictly for the coffee AND the totally gorgeous IG worthy pictures and vibes. Really a cool spot, reminds me of some of my favorite San Diego coffee shops. Also, they have a big parking lot, plenty of seating and even a nice grassy area in the courtyard, and they have wifi! I got a bourbon praline latte and a maple spice latte (both from their fall menu) and both delish! Definitely a must to check out if you're in the area~ and even if you're not (like me)~ it's worth a drive! read more

This is a cute and cozy cafe that serves coffee, tea, milk tea, sparkling drinks, and some desserts. I got a hot latte but I wasn't a huge fan of it - I would try something else in the future though. I got there mid-afternoon on a weekend and it looked like they were all out of desserts, so make sure you get there earlier if you want to grab a snack. This would be a good place to relax for a few hours while enjoying a drink, but if you really need to concentrate on work, I'd recommend somewhere else or going during slow hours. Since the space is small, other nearby conversations can be distracting. There is plenty of parking and there is a small grassy area with blankets to sit on when the weather is nice. read more

Popped in her Friday around 8am. The ambiance was typical for an early morning rush hour flow. Lovely decor. I'm a plant person so it made my heart very happy. The lady who took my order was very friendly and even though they were busy she took time to answer my questions and did not make me feel rushed. I think they happened to be short staffed this morning cuz she kept mentioning to the the other employee how backed up they were. I waited for maybe 15-20 mins for my food and drink. I ordered- - Ube Coffee iced : very lovely. Not overly sweet. Think and creamy. The foam was delicately flavored but not too subtle that i was left wondering what that hint was. Even after all the ice melted, the flavor was still fantastic. - Pork Bánh Mì : the bread was very light and fluffy. Crispy in the outside. The pork was slightly different the. I was accustomed too. I believe it was ground pork. The veggies were fresh. Pate was great. Over all i would def come here again. I don't think I'd order food but I'm dying to try some of their other drinks. Sesame late? Service was great, place was super cute, but the drinks themselves were not to good and they were all stuffed with so much ice if you were to keep the ice in their and strain the liquid out it would prob be 1/4 of actual liquid in their. With these drinks being on the pricier side I expected more bang for my buck. read more

Overall I would visit again. I will say that $6.50 for a Vietnamese Coffee seems a bit pricey given the simplicity of the coffee compared to espresso drinks. That said, it was absolutely delicious. There's many seating options-including nooks and corners- so you'll be able to crank out your work. read more

I wish I could give this place a 4 stars cause their matcha is actually really good however, the customer service is horrible. I've been there a total of 3 times. The first time was great, everyone was super sweet and amazing. The other two times were horrible and it was all from the same person. I grabbed her name the last time I went which was 7/29. When me and my group would ask questions about the menu Kristen would respond in a nasty attitude almost made us feel stupid for asking those questions. My sister has been here a couple of time so I asked her and she also said she had the same attitude from the same person- Kristen. Like I said, the matcha here is great and as far as I know the other employees seem very sweet. I am driving from a far place surprise to phoenix so be met with that attitude twice in a row, it doesn't leave a great impression for me. read more

One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! Carne amore pizza had good flavor but could have used another couple of minutes in the over. Weird it was burnt in some spots on the crust but not others and the bottom was floppy. Others enjoyed their pasta. We all agreed that it was not worth fighting gnats the whole dinner, even when we moved one table over it did not help. It makes you worry about other things. Doubt we would come back.

I got the Pyro Cheeseburger, she got the Sweet Potato Hash, and we got the Ube Panna Cotta for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a great time here. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely consider booking your next table here and you will not regret it!

We eventually went online to order takeout. Waited over an hour in total to get our food. I don't know why the owner didn't direct us to order takeout instead since he wasn't seating anyone anymore. We never would have been seated because the owner never said anything to us. Service is horrible, and the owner did nothing to make up for his mistake. I will say that the other workers were all very nice and did their best. It must be tough working for a boss who makes mistakes like these. He just disappeared for a while when his workers were busting their butts in the kitchen and front of house. The food was good, so I'll give this place two stars instead of one.

Unfortunately, during today's visit, we were told that animals are no longer allowed on the patio and were instead directed to sit on the metal benches in front of the restaurant ...benches that had no table space and clearly were not set up for dining. What made the experience disappointing wasn't necessarily the policy itself, but the way it was handled. As longtime patrons who have supported this restaurant regularly for years to be on a regular basis with staff, the interaction felt dismissive and honestly a little offensive. It was surprising to feel so unwelcome at a place we've consistently supported and recommended to others. I still value this restaurant and appreciate the many good experiences we've had here over the years, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. I hope management takes customer loyalty and consistency of service more seriously moving forward.

The coffee, unfortunately, had a noticeable bitter aftertaste and lacked the expected flavors, leaving us underwhelmed with both of our drinks. To add to the disappointment, my partner's drink was missing the cold foam topping that I had paid for. Although I realized this after leaving, the inconvenience of returning was outweighed by the disappointment in the overall experience. I seriously can't stop thinking about this place--it's easily my favorite coffee shop right now! The Pandan Vietnamese Coffee is unbeatable in my opinion. Bold flavor with the perfect touch of sweetness from the cold foam without being too much. We also tried the Strawberry Matcha and were really impressed. The strawberry purée tasted fresh--not like the artificial syrup you get at most places. We asked for an extra scoop of matcha, and they were super accommodating.
