Cute but busy cafe I love a good matcha and Vietnamese coffee shop. It is located in a cute little plaza with limited parking. I tried the pandan coffee, pandan matacha and ube matcha. Drinks were done super quickly even at their busiest weekend time. The matcha and coffee was great! Strong robust taste. I just wish I could taste the pandan flavoring more. I will def come back to try their other drinks like their seasonal banana latte Environment: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 5/5
Drinks are a tad overpriced for what you get in terms of size in comparison to competing cafes. I got the pistachio white mocha which had a unique taste of pistachio and white chocolate, but the coffee seemed to have an underlying sour taste. Service was nice and quick despite it being a busy morning. There is inside and outside seating , along with multiple chairs and tables but do be aware that it is usually busy and loud. Something to keep in mind if you are looking to do some focused work. I also tried the mango sticky rice matcha which I enjoyed more than the white pistachio mocha. Had some pretty good strength of matcha and wasn't entirely overpowered by the sweetness of the mango.
Probably the best matcha I've had in phoenix so far! We arrived in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. We snagged a table and our drinks came out super quick. First of all, I love the cups. The rounded bottoms are so cute and it is the perfect size. We ordered the horchata latte and the matcha coconut cloud. Both were amazing. The matcha coconut cloud was refreshing, the perfect sweetness level, and the matcha flavor came through from the foam (which isn't always the case with this drink). My friend also enjoyed her horchata latte. I love that they have flavors like black sesame and pandan which I 100% need to come back to try. Ratings Matcha coconut cloud: 4/5 Horchata latte: 5/5
I have been here A LOT. We live nearby and it's our favorite coffee shop to visit. They used to be super Duper busy, but always very quick. We've tried a lot of different things on the menu, but my favorite will always be the regular strawberry Matcha, they also always have seasonal flavors which is really fun, and helps me try new things since I go so much. Their banana pudding Matcha is very popular and I missed it last year, so I got it this time, soooo delicious. They also sell the banana pudding by itself which is also a great snack/dessert. The Matcha is sometimes inconsistent here, I've had more hits than misses, but it's something to consider since their drinks are pretty expensive. When it's not too busy this is the perfect place to study or work, it's really cute inside and has great ambience!
Kind of sad how things have changed. I used to go here for their mango sticky rice matcha (as you can see from my previous reviews) and the sizes got significantly smaller and the prices have increased. Both the mango sticky rice matcha and pistachio white mocha tasted quite underwhelming than when I remembered. I don't know what happened to the quality and taste, but I won't be coming back here when they are better options nearby.
Overall very poor service and quality of matcha. Customer service could have at least got them 2 stars, but it does not seem like that is a priority to them. I do not know how this place has such high ratings. I tried the matcha and instantly disliked it. I am glad they agreed to refund my drink. The price is not worth the service.

It's a good thing I don't live close to here or I'd spend a good chunk of my paycheck here. They've nailed the perfect matcha and Vietnamese coffee for Arizona. There's a parking lot, but it can get quite busy on weekends. I've never seen a matcha with mango sticky rice, but they've captured it well to the point it's almost like dessert. Once I learned their new Aloha Matcha special consisted of passion fruit, mango, and earl grey - I couldn't order this fast enough. There's free WiFi to connect to if you plan on staying longer!
I have never been to a place with so many flavors of Vietnamese coffee! We got the pandan and Saigon Vietnamese coffee--super delicious without being over sweet or over stimulating. They have a lot of great drinks that are unique, I would definitely come back here again and try them all. It's pretty popular on the weekend in an unmarked plaza with decent amount of seating. Options for ordering at the counter or iPad for convenience. They don't have bahn mi sandwiches like an older review mentioned but they do have ready made cold cut sandwiches and freshly made açaí bowls. A pleasant surprise and our go-to for Vietnamese coffee at this point!
This was our first time trying out Cafe Mollie and it did not disappoint. They have a very inviting atmosphere that seems just perfect for coffee time and break. They have real plants placed in different areas of the cafe and everything seemed to be well maintained. Today we tried four different flavored Vietnamese coffees- pandan, ube, sea salt, and egg foam. All of the flavors were on point but one flavor that left an impression on me was the pandan flavor. It wasn't too sweet, yet you can taste the pandan flavor and it was easy to drink. If you haven't had Vietnamese coffees before and you are in Arizona, looking for caffeine refill, I highly recommend you go check out Cafe Mollie. This place offers plenty of free parking spaces.
Just another amazing experience at Cafe Mollie! This time we got two egg coffees and two salt coffees. In all my visits here, nothing on the menu is a miss. Staff is friendly and inviting, and they create a welcoming environment in their little store.
The matcha here was the perfect green. I'm very critical when it comes to matcha, and this place really nailed it on the spot. I will say though the matcha was a bit strong/bitter to our liking, but it was still good. The service was standard nothing special. We ordered on their kiosk, which imo is easy when you want to customize your drinks. Ambiance is was clean and green! Cute area to have coffee with friends or read a book :)
Absolutely love cafe mollie have been coming here for 2+ years for traditional ceremonial matcha it never fails me I've tried about everything on there menu including coffee pastry's and matcha definitely one of the top matcha spots in the valley !
Located in a strip mall, Mollie's is a unique Vietnamese coffee place. I ordered an Americano with oat milk, yes boring sorry! Barista forgot to add the milk . Coffee was mild and smooth. Cafe Mollie is a cute little study spot with a good amount of tables to sit at. The workers are super nice, but it seems like they're a little unorganized with ordering tickets. It took them a second to remember about my order considering there were 4 employees and it wasn't busy. The Black Sesame Latte lacked black sesame flavor and honestly tasted like a regular latte. The baguette bread for the banh mi was very good, but the banh mi itself was on the drier side and lacked flavor. It was stuffed with pork but the condiments/toppings were tasteless. In my top 5 favorite coffee shops in Phoenix and possibly ever! I'm obsessed with the coconut coffee and ube coffee! The sweetness of the cold foam with the bitter coffee is *chefs kiss*. Not to mention, the vibe/ambiance of the cafe is adorable! Very light and airy in there! read more

Recommend: Yes! Try this place out! Food: I got Yuzu peach tea which was good. Bahn mi could use a little more food Ambience: it's cute in here. I love their decorations, great place to kinda hang out. Service: nice and kind. I came a little bit before they opened and they let me in. Details: I recently heard about this place and I was in the area so I decided to stop by. I saw they were open at 8am and I was a bit early. When it was 7:55am, I tried going in but it was still locked but they open their doors for me. I was so tempted to get a coffee and a tea but I knew that was going to be a lot for me. So I went with Yuzu peach tea and the bahn mi special. The yuzu peach tea was refreshing and had yuzu peels on the bottom. It had great flavor. The drink also had a tea bag in it. Which I thought it was interesting. And surprisingly, leaving the tea bag in didn't make it bitter even though it in the drink for a long period of time. As for the bahn mi, overall it tasted fine but I did felt like it lacked meat. When I was eating it, I was mostly just tasting the veggies. I think if they double the meat, it would improve their bahn mi a lot better. I still want to try their coffee so I'm definitely going to have to come by again. read more

I accidentally stumbled on Cafe Mollie while searching for another coffeehouse whose name starts with Mo... After reading reviews and perusing the menu I was intrigued. I rarely come across Ube unless it's paired with boba or in a donut. The last time I had an Ube coffee was a couple years ago in Seattle and I was hooked on Ube. My entire experience was five plus stars. The space is calming, clean, just the right lighting and positive vibe. Anna has the best smile and sweetest disposition. I was very apprehensive about matcha since the last one I had at a world famous chain made me gag. Anna was kind enough to give me a little sample and it was amazing! I hate to spend money on a drink that disappoints so that act of kindness made my day and the Matcha with cold foam hit the quintessential sweet spot. Another point I would like to make is that I rarely sit for long in a coffee shop being a grab and go kind of gal, but I felt so calm, welcomed, and relaxed that sitting and sipping was a delightful treat!!! Sorry not sorry one more point...unpretentious! I loathe some of the high falootin, we are better than you type coffee houses around town. My coworker and I arrived in Phoenix early the day before our conference was set to begin. We decided to use the day to explore. She had done some research and found this local gem. Drinks: 3/5 We ordered ube coffee, panden matcha, and black sesame signature drink. Everything was decent, but bland. Thankfully the foam was made well but the flavors were 2/5, almost nonexistent. Even the coffee, being Vietnamese coffee; did not have the typical strong taste. I would come back if this place wasn't more than a 5 min drive. FYI: We arrived an hour before close and the kitchen staff leaves randomly (I guess if business is slow, per the cashier) so they'll stop serving food then. Service: 2/5 Typical college or HS kids looking bothered. Ambiance: 4/5 Tucked in a nice little complex where parking doesn't get too crowded and there is artificial turf fight outside. The Vietnamese coffee with egg topping was delicious. Just how my favorite place back home makes it. The only complaint would be how much ice they put in it. I mean, I understand that you have to put ice in it, but when you finish your drink and the cup is still 3/4 full of ice, that's just a shame. Why not just fix your recipe to give the customer more beverage? Also, I shared a banh mi with my friends and the bread was pretty dry. Pâté and mayo wouldn't have helped. Sad panda. read more

The matcha was AMAZING 5/5, although the service was average, I asked the person who took my order if I can add a London fog cold foam and they said "I guess we can add an earl cold foam if you want it" with slight attitude. That was a little weird but other than that, the space was very calm and esthetic and good matcha! read more
Tucked in a cute plaza and has super aesthetic curb appeal. Asian inspired drinks like ube, pandan, black sesame lattes made with Vietnamese coffee. The interior is spacious and has plenty of tables and power outlets for studying. However, service is very slow...expect to wait about 20 minutes for your drink on a Saturday. I ordered the black sesame latte, and it was AMAZING. Heavy black sesame flavor and really good coffee. Their drinks are all about $7, but its about the size of a grande at Starbucks. I'll definitely be back to try other drinks on the menu. read more

New favorite cold brew unlocked Cafe Mollie is good energy for sure. The barista was super informative and charming. She got me excited to come back to try another drink on the menu (Pandan coffee) but for today I wanted to the cold brew. As if to read my mind, she asked if I wanted the vanilla cold brew and before I could ask, she let me know it was unsweetened. Perfect! Normally I like to add a stevia or two to my cold brew but this one was perfect on its own. There were a couple people working or studying and it seems to be a good spot for that as well. I saw the Barbie collection drink and thought they were cute so I decided to come to Café Mollie. I'm also happy to me, so definitely have a love for a Vietnamese coffee shop or egg coffee (which I haven't tried yet). I had an espresso with a strawberry milk and an Oreo cold foam on top, but ordered it half sweet. Honestly have sweet was still pretty sweet but perfect for what I wanted. I have a pork banh mi as well, which was really good. The bread was toasted perfectly and meat was great! I liked it so much that I decided to come back the next day... I meant to order the egg coffee, but I really wanted the strawberry milk coffee again. I ordered the same thing and was equally as impressed. The place itself is very cute inside and I love their little plant serial killer sign, all the employees are really friendly and helpful with my indecisiveness. Beautiful café and very friendly staff! Café Mollie has a modern feel to it with lots of plants and a small little lawn area out front. They bring in musicians on occasional evenings and you can lay on the grass with a blanket and relax while sipping your drink. In addition to regular coffee classics, Café Mollie's menu is inspired by Southeast Asian beverages and food. Menu items include regular or milk teas (Ube, Thai, and lavender are a few popular flavors), hot or iced coffee, and a variety of Lotus energy drinks. I'm looking forward to trying the Vietnamese coffee next time. When I stopped by, I ordered a Ube milk tea with boba. The staff was very friendly and engaging. This is my all time favorite cafe, and I love their matcha so much! Their pandan and black sesame cold foam that they top off of their matchas with are perfect and are so well-balanced. The flavors complement each other so well! They also use high quality, ceremonial grade matcha from nekohama, and their matcha ratio is very trustworthy!
