Leyla was the best server! This was my first time here. It is a small quaint Cafe. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I love that it is an authentic Persian experience with Persian music and all. My favorite was The Naderi kabob plate. The kabob barg is delicious too. The dessert selection was amazing and we had the shole zard (yellow rice) very very good, the rollette (excellent), and puft balls (very good). We had the soltani, fish, and meat stew. I used to get food from Cafe Naderi, and my order was kaleh pacheh. Unfortunately, when I picked up my food, the bread they gave me was insufficient. Then, they offered me sangak bread for an extra $7, while the total price of sangak at wholesome Choice store is only $3.99. When I brought the food home and started eating, I found something in it--I'm not sure if it was a hair or something else. But as you can see in the picture below, I found it in my food. I will say it was the most bland kebabs I have ever eaten in my life !!! if I were to describe... deli rotisserie chicken. & that's being generous ! Actually deli rotisserie chicken has more flavor. Even my home made toum could not help this poor bland kebab disaster. There's no way I could of ate it plain without any toum. The chicken was bland, dry, & just not good at all. Myself and my friends went over to Naderi cafe in Irvine,ca. They are a fast food but they charge 18% service charge on your bill which is unheard of. This cafe does not have a public restroom which is required by law. They send you to the grocery store next door for restroom. I do not recommend it to anyone. read more

This is my second time trying this place and it's a super small café better for to go orders. The girls seemed nice but need to work on their customer service and pay attention to the customer who's paying in front of them and not attend to others who are just walking in. They tend to ignore you and walk away as if they are too good to be working there. I ordered the boneless chicken which tasted good, but the rice was extremely overcooked and super soft. I don't recommend Kaleh Pache the meat size was too big and took away from the rest of the dish and they added an over bearing amount of red sauce. If this is a café, then the prices should be really fair, which was surprisingly too high for such a small operation. I went there last Friday and. Bought a 2 lb Halim which I love. They gave me the two little containers of supposedly sugar and cinnamon. I poured the cinnamon and sugar on top and with a big appetite put half on my plate and started but god forbid they had put salt instead of sugar. I got very upset and called them and explained to the lady on the phone, she said oh sorry but I said sorry isn't enough it's my time my money n my hunger right now. She said I'll tell the manager to call you but I never heard anything from anybody. So if you go there make sure to check the contents of supposedly sugar. read more

My foodie coworker recommended this place, so my husband and I tried the Mazeh plate, beef koobideh, and ghormeh sabzi. We liked both of the eggplant dips on the Mazeh plate, though I had no idea olviyeh was Persian. I think a yogurt dip would have felt more authentic, but I'm not Iranian, so I could be totally wrong. The beef koobideh was good--I don't understand why one of the reviewers thought it was bland. The ghormeh sabzi was my favorite, just like what my Iranian neighbor made for us once. The portions were large; I think we could've ordered just one ghormeh sabzi, and it would have been enough for both of us. However, we ended up with plenty of leftovers and enjoyed them for lunch the next day with our kids. The service was good as well. One odd thing was the timing of the food being served. It would've been nice to get the appetizer first, followed by the main dish, but they served the food in the order it was ready.
