I recently tried Nektar Juice Bar, and while the juices and smoothies seemed fresh, I found the prices a bit high compared to competitors. I went into this place excited to try something new. The smoothie i got tasted kind of bland and had chunks of powdery fruit - it tasted pretty similar to the $2.99 costco smoothie except...just like 3x the price. I understand i could have said no to the price and left but i wanted to give it a try anyway since my spirit was high and hopeful. I left feeling a bit sad. Most places in the area offer similar juices for $8-$9, while Nectar's were around $11-$12. The quality for my smoothie was definitely questionable whereas my friend's smoothie was very good, but if you're budget-conscious, it's something to keep in mind. Service was friendly, and the space is nice, so it's a decent spot if you don't mind paying a little extra. read more

I been here a while ago for a yelp event and thought it was pretty good so I decided to come back to try something a little different. They have a variety of healthy items from acai bowls to smoothies to oatmeal. Service is pretty good as the orders came pretty quickly. It's a small place but you can sit and eat it just take out. I got the chia pudding and it was pretty good. They were Generous with the amount they give you based on the price. The ingredients are fresh and the granola was crunchy. I love Nekter! I've been a few times now and always have a wonderful experience. The staff is always cheerful and helpful and seem knowledgeable about what they are serving. The juices are really high quality and all have wonderful ingredients and no additives. My favorite thing I've gotten is definitely the PB&J bowl- the chia raspberry pudding was just a cherry on top of some of the best acai! This is definitely my new go to spot for breakfast bowls. I discovered acai only several years ago. In another Kirkland restaurant of "healthy foods", their acai was pre-blend, still frozen, served at the bottom of a bowl, then buried with toppings to hide the frozen glop of acai at the bottom. It was a terrible experience. In contrast, Nekter served an amazing acai banana berry bowl. It truly was perfection! The acai is freshly blended with a smoothie-like texture; there is a just-right amount of granola on top to stir into the acai for a slight crunch, then topped with perfectly ripe banana slices, blueberries, and strawberry slices. It was so, so good. Omg! It was such an excellent contrast that it made me so happy. The cost is $10.29, which I thought was very reasonable for the freshness of the foods, and it was plenty big enough to be filling for my lunch! The Nekter eatery itself is clean and simply decorated with 4 tables and some counter seating. Two people with working, busy with pickup orders and customers walking in. I came in early in the morning and the juicy bar was conveniently open. My order came in fast and the wait was worth it. She was very kind and patient as we went through the choices. I got The Buzz (carrot , green apple, orange, lemon and ginger) and it was delicious freshly squeezed!!!! Writing this review to outline the very disappointing and rude customer service me and my wife received both over the phone and in person on Wednesday 7/23/25. Stuck in rush hour traffic, knowing we'd be cutting it close, we called ahead at 5:45pm to let store we'd be there in 10 minutes prior to the store closing at 6pm. Over the phone, the gal I talked to very rudely explained there was no way she would serve us and they did not accept over the phone orders. Confused, I told her we were not looking to place an order over the phone but rather to let them we were on our way and would be there prior to closing. And if it was still possible to get an açaí bowl. She straight up hung up! We show up with a few minutes to spare, doors open, no one at the front and no customers keeping them occupied. After waiting a couple minutes the same gal we spoke with over the phone appeared and refused to serve us prior to closing. Asking if it's possible to make a bowl or if there was someone else who could help, she said, "there's no one else to help, it's almost 6 and we're closed." Seeing an associate in the back, my wife said, "So you're closed prior to 6pm? Is there someone else to talk with" The gal said it's not possible to make anything and told us to come back at 7:30am. I asked "Are you the person we just spoke with and hung up on me?" She goes, "we were done talking" Very rude. Point is to share, a little goes a long way. We showed up prior to closing, tried to give a courtesy call that we were on our way and were treated with a lazy and rude associate who refused to serve us, be helpful or kind. I get it. We cut it close. But we called, still made it in time prior to the store after getting through rush hour traffic and was met with nothing but disrespect. This is not reflective of the product or the store. But rather if someone is going to be in the service industry, learning how to treat and serve people, training is clearly needed. read more

Poor service. Waited over 25 min for one drink. Had to ask for it twice. Wasn't busy when I came in. Personnel working there not very attentive to customers. Went in today (a Sunday at 3:30) to pick up a mobile app order and it wasn't ready yet. That's okay, they were busy. After sitting there for 10 minutes and seeing two groups place their in person orders (so obviously after me) get their smoothies before me, I decided to ask again. The girl taking orders told me they prioritize walk ins over mobile orders. Um okay but she knew I had been there for my mobile order. Another 10 minutes goes by (so now I'm there 20 mins) and I ask again. Finally she makes them and oh, she was not happy and she wanted me to know it by slamming down the smoothies and turning her back on me quickly. Not sure what I did to you..I was polite when asking. I gave 2 stars for service today. If there was a closer smoothie place nearby I'd go there instead but there isn't. read more

I've been to Nekter several times in Arizona. My favorite smoothie used to be the pineapple matcha, but they didn't have that one here. I tried the PB&J bowl instead. It took a bit for my order to come out, but I wasn't in a rush or anything. The bowl was pretty large and a good portion to split between 2 people. It was pretty good overall, but not the best I've had. The açaí smoothie part at the bottom tasted kind of watered down. Delicious ice creams. The blue vanilla cookie dough was amazing! It was so yummy, couldn't make out that it was vegan! It was very fresh, tasty, had multiple layers of flavors and had a great texture and presentation. The juices and smoothies were yummy as well.
