    Egg tart
    Daniel W.

The coffee is pretty good and comes in a fancy tall glass. The cafe is not too big and has limited seating but I really liked the tall ceiling and the decoration. I got the portugués egg tart which I thought was okay. I think it would have been good if there is a toaster to warm it up alittle since the egg tart was cold and moist. The workers were really nice and made sure we were happy with our order. It is a good place to come if you are in the area and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

This cafe is a nice vibe with good desserts and coffee. The service is really nice and they bring the coffee to you! One thing that I didn't like is that they didn't have coffee flavorings for their coffee/lattes.

Last Pastal de Nata in case

When you have the word "Pastal" as your name, one would think your Pastal de Nata would be a grand slam. Maybe one of the worst I have ever had. Let's not even discuss the fact that it was $6.42 plus tip. I guess I expect that b/c it is located at Raffles. But it just wasn't good on so many levels. The pastry was tough and chewy. It was like you had to bite and tear it was so tight. The custard was overly sweet (which is shocking coming from me the sugar king) and there was an excessive amount of cinnamon. Huge disappointment. Only thing I got, grabbed a quick one Togo. Maybe a 1 Star is unfair given their other stuff may be great...but I it was a bit unforgiving to me.

    Two lattes and a smoothie

Fantastic pastries. Latte was delicious. A small place and only a couple of tables but worth the trip

I've been drooling over the passion fruit krembo and the pear tart so I had to give them a try as well. Pear tart- absolutely perfect, so mellow and sweet and I loved the poached pear in the middle! Passionfruit krembo- honestly stronger on the coconut and meringue flavor than on the passion fruit? Tastes almost like a lemon meringue tart to me. Orange blossom latte- frankly didn't get any flavor of orange blossom in the latte, until it melted totally I could taste it a little in the coffee. The vanilla was also really light. It's a pretty unadulterated coffee (as is typical for a cold brew) and I kinda like my coffee sweet and creamy, so I was not too impressed on a first taste. But once it melted I liked it a lot more. Probably will stick with black sesame next time. Note- they serve their pastries glued with sugar (?) on a cardboard round. Im not too sure how to eat it like this so I ended up prying them off the round.

Always love Tatte! I mean, what's not to love they have incredible coffee, tease, bakery items, and…read moreso many great dishes. Walking into a Tatte is like warm hug, it's a positive, welcoming, and bright environment to be in. All of the cafes are so aesthetically pleasing and get a lot of natural light. This location does have some indoor seating, but is a bit more limited than some of the other locations. They do have a lot of outdoor seating though. It's also a great area to walk around if you get your coffee and or pastry to go. It of course gets busy at peak times on weekends and morning during the week. Brunch is big at Tatte, and rightfully so. I don't think it's the best place to try to work, but you can bring a computer in do some work or study, but it can also get loud when there's lots of conversations being held. I've had great interactions with the staff at this location and even when it's busy, I haven't had to wait too long to get my order. I've been loving the pumpkin spice tahini latte this fall. Looking forward to my next stop in!

Overall the food is not the best in Boston but I have enjoyed the food at Anoushella, Far out ice cream, and Union Square donuts. Seating is open and most of the businesses deliver your order to your seat. Trillium brewery is right next door which is excellent. There are events on the lawn in the summer, such as movie night and flea markets. Would recommend more for ambience and location than the food.

Whether it's day time or night - summer is here and it's all happening at Time Out! This evening we came around 7 for the movie night and actually caught the last and most exciting nail biting finish of the Paraguay- Germany matchup!! After that was the movie - 'She's the Man' - very appropriate soccer movie! It was a fun rom-com and the whole crowd enjoyed it! And then afterwards was the next match! Beautiful evening- I'm sitting here on a blanket on the grass as I'm writing this. Cool evening perfect temps tonight - enjoying this very much! They're also showing the match inside. It's nice because you can get food from inside and there are restrooms. So it's all very convenient and what a great location! Looking forward to many more fun summer activities here at Time Out! So glad they stayed open!
