I've been coming to this restaurant for years. My office is across the stress and our patients are VIP's. After a long day I thought Cafe Roma would be nice to unwind. Horrible service and food. Marco, the bartender ignored my party and even though I ordered cocktails and food, the grilled calamari finally arrived. Cold. I really like this place the food is really good the only downfall was the service. There literately was only one server in the bar area for happy hour and she kept forgetting our order and we had to keep asking her if she put the order in. Finally we decided to go directly to the bar and order our drinks and still had to wait a very long time to get our food. Every time we flagged her down she would look at us and ignore us until she was done I believe training the new server. I also only saw the manager come out once to say hello to a table and disappeared he was completely useless. Keep in mind the place wasn't that busy. read more

Went there on on Friday August 28th spent over $200.00 on a meal. The service was horrible. Hadn't been there in 3 years. What a let down. There was a bearded tall waiter- with a Russian accent- ? Perhaps - anyway he was sweating and putting his fingers on the INSIDE of the glasses he was serving. There was a piece of PLASTIC SYRAN WRAP in my husbands water glass- we showed it to the waiter and he said oops sorry- no one - came to our table - no bread, no oil Nothing. Then we asked to speak to a manager because no one cared that during COVID 19 there is plastic someone put or forgot to take out but it's in our drinking glass! They didn't offer anything to compensate- we told one of the other waiters- NOTHING - our food still wasn't served 30 mins later- I asked for a manager and a third person comes over and apologized for the plastic then the same Russian tall waiter came to replace the water glass- with his fingers inside of the glass. He is sweating over us too- droplets- it was horrifying. I asked him to give me another glass- then we received the food - finally- and I had to ask for bread twice- the food arrived 35 mins later as did the bread - night and day- my experience 3 years ago to now. No compensation nothing on the house no real apologies. HORRIBLE SERVICE read more

This place was perfect for some coffee and snacks! We got the Mac and cheese, gnocchi and margarita pizza. The food was great, loved the gnocchi. I would say the service started off great then our server disappeared. I am currently typing this as I'm waiting for my server to appear. It's been 12 minutes so far. Ah she's here! She's super sweet, don't get me wrong but I have no idea where everyone disappeared to. Regardless they are all very welcoming and very kind. We are mature adults and have eating and had drinks in some of the best and some of the worst places between , NYC, Miami and over seas. We know when we order something we ask if they provide what we are looking for. Horrible service and unbelievably terrible bar. We were 4 adults and 1 minor. Ordered a tiramisu martini ( horribly sweet) a Tito's vodka martini ( watered down and with wedge of lime??!!) who the heck serves a martini with lime?!! And a couple of daiquiri's during happy hour( which is all day) which drinks are $8.00 instead or $14.00. The daiquiris were not what was expected as we get anywhere in the world, they water and some juice. One was a virgin and the other had about 1/2 once of alcohol. Charged us $14.00 and $10.00 due to that they were not on the drink menu and $8 for the other 2 drinks. Ordered a cheese platter for $18.00 and received 2 small slices Brie and pecorino and a glob of goat cheese with some jam. I asked for something to go with it and got some cold bread. Bill came and had a Chardonnay on it we did not order. The waitress was confused from the get go so I have to ask her to explain why the bill was $73.00 as we were not aware of the special price for juice with minimal alcohol. Asked for the manager and tried to have a conversation with him about all of the confusion but he did not care much and offered to make another daiquiri but we just had enough and wanted to leave. Take my advice, go somewhere else. For the money I'm sure you can find much better service with a bartender that knows what their doing!! read more

Just had a large party at Cafe Roma. They were so accommodating. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. And the waiters could not have been more helpful. The menu listing on urbanspoon.com, as of October 23, I ate there on October 22 the link on their website listed their Scottadito D' Agnello (lamb chops) at $36.00 and their Milanese Di Vitello at $38.00. When we went to Café Roma their menu listed Scottadito D' Agnello at $40.00 and their Milanese Di Vitello at $48.00. The chocolate souffle, which is what I went there for was a round piece of chocolate cake with chocolate syrup running out of it. Nothing close to a chocolate soufflé. read more
