430pm. My last meal was at 930-10am-ish. The pup and I did a ton of walking and exploring the area (we even went way off the Golden Triangle where we started off from!) while we waited for Mom to get out of her (already an hour in) appointment and since my last bite was what felt like forever ago, my gut was screaming nourishment! We returned to where we began and looked around. Every small eatery is either already closed or about to. This place is one of maybe three I haven't tried on this block yet, and so... here me and pup were! We had dinner plans so I didn't want anything heavy. I didn't want junk food either. I put into heavy consideration something easy-ish for the staff to put together since they, too, were about to close. Ended up with tuna sandwich. And a bottle of Fiji water to wash it down. Packaging was good! It's fit for travel. I was gonna take it back to the car but my hanger pangs weren't having it: had to be immediate! And it isn't bad. Ordered it on white bread. The vege were really fresh and the bread was toasted nicely. The spread was under seasoned. It had that familiar tuna taste, but it could use plenty of seasoning. It was a little bland for my taste. But it was a good enough bite to hold me off until dinner. FOOD: 3. SERVICE: 3. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Metered parking or 2hr free parking at the structure on the corner of Bedford and South Santa Monica Blvd. OVERALL: 3. It wasn't bad, but I might try them other small eateries (I haven't gone to yet) on this same block before contemplating about returning here. Might try a salad and a latte next time...

Stopped by for a quick breakfast, but wow, $4.11 for just a plain bagel and cream cheese. I will say this bagel was closer to an nyc bagel compared to most places in LA, crisp exterior and chewy inside. Parking is easy with a lot of metered parking and some garages with first 2 hours free but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Colors of the rainbow - carrot/beet/ginger, carrot, watermelon/apple/pineapple, pineapple/orange

Let's get straight to the point -- Ruben and his entire staff are amazing, kind, passionate and the friendliest bunch in all of Beverly Hills. Restaurants are a dime a dozen, but when you combine good food, affordable prices and an amazing staff, it keeps you coming back. The fact that Ruben has memorized my drink only goes to show how well he takes care of his customers. Let's start with drinks. I started with the smoothies. Why? Because smoothies are the perfect blend and as close as you can get to a margarita without the booze. I've had the strawberry dream and the strawberry orange crush. Both really delicious, except one (dream) is milk based for all you dairy queens and kings. I was a bit intimidated to try their juices. So I eased my way in. Started first with sweets, Apple/Watermelon/Pineapple/Orange. Delicious. Slowly started to swatch one of the fruits with a vegetable. Bring on the carrots/apple/pineapple/orange. WOW! to my surprise carrots are sweet too lol My eye doctor would be proud. I've had combinations that I would have never tried, but thanks to the staff was willing. Carrot/Beet/Ginger is gold! *actually really purple/redish but the drink is delicious, gold in taste* Carrot/Celery. Pineapple/Orange. I truly don't think you can mess the juices up but you will like some more than others and eventually create your favorites. Also, they got stamp cards! 10th drink is free! Now food, easy peasy, especially if you want a quick affordable bite. You can easily ask for something that they have already prepared in the deli. Their wraps, sandwiches, salads are usually always at hand. Or order off the menu. The sandwich place across the street will charge upward of $20 for a drink and sandwich. This place is half the price made with more love in every bite. Their turkey wraps and sandwiches are hearty. You can see and taste the freshness. There is a reason this family owned place has stood the test of times as other restaurants around appear and disappear. It is a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of Beverly Hills. But if you come across this place, or have someone refer you, or this review leads you there, it won't disappoint and you too will become a juice head. They truly treat everyone like family. Also, they are wearing masks. Have two tables set out in their patio area with umbrellas. And have hand sanitizer. Go enjoy!

A family run cafe in Beverly Hills ?!? Such sweet staff with all kinds of sandwiches and drinks you can think of. Their smoothie is super fresh and does not cost an arm and a leg. They have all the different varieties. I'd have to say strawberry apple smoothie is BOMBBB. They also do all sorts of caffeinated drinks from regular coffee.. cappuccino.. blended mocha... tea & etc And of course, their sandwiches are on point! My fav is chicken with honey mustard. If you're in the area and need a quick bite to eat, this is your place !!

Love this place! Even on busy days the guys here are so fast and dependable. Some days I don't need a huge lunch to get me through my work hours so I'll pop in and get some fresh juice. Helps me flash back to Mexico where fresh squeezed juices are just a thin..so gets me through the day haha. I usually let the guys suggest a juice for me, they're great at recommendations! And if I'm a little hungrier I'll get their tuna with cucumbers, MMM! All that will set you back about $15 but so worth the freshness.

Dylan was our sever and he was very nice! And personable and easy going. Our order was not incorrect and it came out fresh and hot. But of course that's nothing new with Hillstone restaurants, they are all phenomenal!!! It's also located next to their sister restaurant South of Beverly. The Honor Wine is right next to it as well. It's dark and gives semi-upscale vibes! It's not that spacious since it's a bar so it's usually a long wait. I recommend coming early or trying to do reservations. Although Black Sheep Burgers has a vast selection of hamburgers (they probably should have called the place Black Cow Burgers) I had a Chicken Katsu sandwich. It was very good. Service was well paced with the first course arriving in a few minutes followed by the main. We didn't have high expectations for the cold tofu and okra but it was delicious and the tofu soaked up the soy based sauce and was balanced by the slight crunchiness of the okra. The waffle fries were exceptional - double fried with a curry aioli sauce. The tonkatsu and ramen were also great. The tonkatsu had a light, crispy batter and the ramen was so delicious, with the addition of corn, peas, black fungus and bamboo shoots, truly comforting. The burger was a hit, too. Juicy and flavorful. The small details here didn't go unnoticed, the unique plates, nice bamboo chopsticks and cute hippo candy plate. We chose to sit in front by the open windows since it was such a nice afternoon but the dining area further inside was welcoming, too. I've also been here outside of DineLA and it's just an overall solid experience.

Update- was really looking forward to dinner at Chubby Curry. My friends and I have patronized this…read moreplace since it opened. It was our go-to place for almost two years. We hadn't been in about 6 months and decided to drop in for dinner before a movie- Wow, has it changed- and not in a good way. There were fewer staff and they were spread thin, with not even half the tables full. The place was a little unkept. The menu is all digital- so we had some questions ordering our favorites. We got the Wagu steak with rice and curry and the breaded chicken breast. When the Wagu arrived it was unrecognizable- brown and looked over cooked - no pink. The entire dish was completely unappetizing. It was sad looking. I tried to show the server that this looked nothing like the menu photos in the front wall. He was already flustered and told me "to calm down ma'am" and that is "how it comes- we put soy sauce on it." The calm down nonsense was a real put off. My next question was, why is a restaurant putting soy sauce on perfect Wagu? None of the menu photos show soy sauce. We have never had soy sauce drenched Wagu here ever. The amount of soy sauce - if any-- is up to the guest. We all have our sodium preferences, right? I personally liked their Wagu plate as is. I tried to get the server to follow me to the front wall to show him the photo of all their Wagu dishes on their front wall and he was really not happy. Those photos were how their food always looked- fresh- colorful and delicious looking. The comparison was stunningly different- he would not hear it - and was visible upset with me. Sending this back caused quite a problem- more like an argument with the server who insisted this is how Wagu comes. It does not and I posted a review previously with photos from several visits to this once fun to eat at place. They offered to remake it and I caught the server and chef's convo. Chef was bewildered with the whole no soy sauce thing. The server came back with a small piece of Wagu in a service cup to show me what their Wagu looked like before the soy sauce bath. It was not the bright fresh pink. It was gray, like it had been prepped a couple days ago and refrigerated. Completely unacceptable and not appetizing. I told them to please not remake it. It would be a waste and please Just remove it and we'd order something else. The server was so upset with me he told me he would remove everything and not charge us at all. I felt that was unfair to the restaurant and his attitude was like don't order anything, and do not come back. My guy friend insisted that we pay and the server came back with a bill for just the chicken. I gave him cash for everything we ordered including the Wagu, and he brought me almost all the money back. I was particularly insulted by this. This was such negative energy- I did not want to touch it. I left all the money on the table and left. Message to the owner- replacing servers with digital menus does not lessen their work. it increases their time explaining what dishes are and how dishes come. You need more people because servers have more work in less time. I really felt for this server and did not feel any of this was his fault. The quality drop in food, the excess work due to digital menus, and food not matching the promises made in photos at the front wall from opening day are not your server's fault. We were expecting the same consistency and were sadly disappointed. We will not be returning.

It was on point and pretty much what you would expect. BUT We watched them go out of their way when a customer who appeared to be Neurodivergent came in and ordered. They were awesome and that kid had such a smile on his face when his burger arrived. I would give this place 6 stars if yelp would let me. Grapow Smash: Typical smash burger with a perfectly cooked egg. The resulting gooey yolk was glorious and the bun did its best till its structural integrity failed with about 2/3rds yet. The Grapow added quite a bit of heat but the sweet potato fries helped to tamp that down. The only thing that kept this burger out of the top 5 was the pickle. It simply was blown out by the onslaught of richness and the burger needed a briney element to provide balance. We are in nitpicky range here with this. This burger slides into a tie at #8 in my rankings and is the highest ranked fusion burger so far. Sweet Potato Fries: Not on the rotation currently according to reviews (lets face it I am behind in my reviews) but perfectly fried, and helped tamp down some of the heat.
