So surprised to see some lower rating reviews because that was not our experience at all! One of THE BEST MEALS we had on the island. In fact today was our best meal day for lunch and dinner and we couldn't be more happy with our last night/day with excellent food. The ambiance is cozy. The restaurant is kind of tucked away upstairs. Would suggest better street signage for more traffic. We had chicken Parmesan and shrimp pistou. Both were fantastic. A lot of restaurants have a hard time getting red sauce flavorful and on point. This was some of the best red sauce I've had. The basil pesto sauce for the shrimp pistou was unique and so flavorful. We had limoncello creme brûlée and chocolate chip bread pudding. Both were good. Bread pudding wasn't as moist as others I've had. Service was great. Will definitely be back if we are in St. John again.

Excellent food and service, no reservations required walk ins only. We went right when they opened and had no problem. 10/10 recommend!!

If you want some good italian food, come to this new place. Sits above the street for a little bit of peace in Cruz Bay. Great environment.

Rajin' Cajun was outstanding. Never had anything like it before. Seafood manicotti also excellent.

Not to mention they did not even have any desserts. An Italian restaurant with not one fish or seafood item, not even one special of the night. So called cocktails Awful! Probably the best item for the price is the pizza for roughly $30 Even if you look at the The Caprice salad you will notice that it basically look like just five slices of tomatoes with five pieces of cheese on it. For the pros there should be some form of a presentation. If you go through past pictures, you'll see how it used to look. I have no trouble coming back, especially if you're sick for a while of going to a fancier restaurant, but I have to tell you it was a little pricey for what you got even though it wasn't as expensive. given places in the past, from other restaurants, it was a nice way of saving a few dollars, you will still save a bit compared to the more expensive restaurant, but not so much.

This was the only restaurant we didn't enjoy in St.John.

The spacious dining area with a great happy hour and dinner menu comes out at 5:00. We got there for the lunch menu and were glad we did because we got sandwiches which were great. Candidly, nothing on the dinner menu blew our minds. The tuna sandwich with wasabi and arugula was fantastic, and the tuna was prepared perfectly! We also got shrimp tacos that were better than the sandwich for what it's worth. Our server, who didn't give us her name, was sweet and attentive and even brought a cask of water without us asking. At the end of the day, High Tide delivered as advertised. Three last thoughts if you've read this far: Park at the MVD and walk; it's not that far and free. Get the Key Lime Pie; it was outstanding but pretty typical of the area. Lastly, stop at the merch store and grab a t-shirt, which are some of the best I've seen so far!

As for the food m, I thought it was okay. I ordered the chicken curry off of the chef specials menu and I wasn't blown away by it or anything. The rice and broccoli sides were plain, the chicken was cooked fine, and the sauce was good, but not amazingly flavorful like other curries I had had in the past. And for this being a chef special, I just want super impressed. The waitress we had was super kind though, and our food came out quick which was much appreciated. Again, the view is amazing and they have a decent menu listing. While this place is great for a cocktail, sunset, and "little something for everyone" vibes, personally I think there is something left to be desired.

From the second we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and just on top of everything without ever feeling overbearing. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure you have a good experience. We started with a lemon drop and an Italian margarita, both really good and a fun way to kick things off. They brought out bread to the table, which was just okay, nothing super memorable, but the whipped butter definitely stole the show. For dinner, we went with the red snapper special, plus risotto and Brussels sprouts, and everything was delicious. The snapper was perfectly cooked and the sides paired really well with it. You could tell everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, such a great spot, but Latoya really made it stand out. She was so accommodating and truly on top of it the entire time. Would absolutely come back and definitely hope to sit in her section again!

All three of us had a pasta dish and nobody had a complaint, which is rare. They have a full bar and a small sitting area inside. They also have a small sitting area outside that overlooks the water. Traditional Italian food and you can tell its house made pasta. We plan to go back before we leave the island. The only real complaint is the food comes way too fast. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures, but I'll do better the next time. We plan to go back, and I'll edit this post with that experience.
