With extensive outdoor seating and an eclectically designed interior, this restaurant boasts a fun and lively atmosphere. We didn't stay long enough, but apparently they have live music after 7PM, and occasional flamenco shows, which is a nice touch. For food, Cafe Sevilla has a wide array of tapas and entrees to choose from. My favorites were the patatas bravas, brussel sprouts, and the salchichas a la plancha. Their happy hour cocktail menu also has a really good barbacoa margarita that was the right amount of sweet, spicy, and savory (they even garnished it with chorizo). The happy hour half off tapas and paella was a great deal for us to try so many things. Staff was decent- although we stayed chatting and after paying our server never came back to check on us or refill water. From the fact that you have to pay up front for 20 people including gratuity is poor business practice. During the show, drinks, tax, and gratuity on drinks had to be paid in cash only. Food was warm, very poor flavor, had to eat in the dark, not one person at my table of ten eat their meal. The dancers and singer were authentic, but the guitarist even though he played well, used an amplifier system (way toooooo loud) rather than allowing the acoustic guitar to carry the (compaus) a Spanish word for "rhythm" on its own. There was 6 of us that had to cover our ears most of the show, extremely unpleasant! All in all i would not recommend the show or food to anyone! Having lived in Spain, and studied Flamenco guitar, this was in all a very poor example of true Hundo Flamenco. Our favorite apps were: seared scallop (4 of them and they were large), ceviche combo (3), and calamari. They were all pretty good and worth it if you get the 50% off. Thank you so much to my best friend and her husband for bringing us here tonight. Their friend was DJing and got us on the list to get it, what a beautiful cafe, they have ourdoor and indoor seating with beautiful fires surrounding. It's in the plaza of triangle Square which haven't been to in a decade I think. I love this area. It's beautiful classy and there's so many restaurants to eat at. It turns into a club called Sevilla Ultra Lounge so if I checked into the wrong place forgive me. We got there and they had fun music playing, we got to stay on stage with their friend who was Djing and they shouted out happy birthday to me thank you so much. There seem to be a lot of birthdays there tonight. There was this girls birthday and they were so fun, she even wished me a happy birthday. Her birthday was also yesterday and another girl I met her birthday is tomorrow so we all wished each other happy Birthdays. Was awesome, We all danced, I danced mostly sitting cause I tried so hard to hide not feeling well. But I haven' danced in such a long time it felt so good to hear music and be out. It was really hard for me to do since I wasn't feeling great, but I wanted to keep the fun going a little longer so I just pushed on and just enjoyed the music and had so much fun. Took 2 hours to be sat down while me and my friends were at the bar. Drinks were pretty great and unique but some of them seemed like they were light on the alcohol. The outside bar was small but nice and the breeze definitely hits you so be prepared to bring a jacket! The tapas dishes were amazing and there were so many options to choose from. There was no flaw in any of the dishes from the 10 we chose so the food is superb especially at happy hour. The only reason this place is not getting 5 stars is because it took an extra hour in the cold outside to be seated and when we were seated inside the server we had took 20 minutes to finally take our order and came back only once after an hour to give the check. The food also took a bit to come out. It was a great experience just wished the service was a little better. The bar tenders were very nice and helped us with any questions. They even went out of their way to make sure my order didn't have onions because it might have been mixed with the sauce. Probably one of the best service iv received in a while This bar itself had a great selection of alcohol and food. I ended ordering a few items to try out. I got the beef empanadas and lamb sliders. The beef was cooked to perfection and the sauce was perfection. The lamb had no smell of gaminess to it at all. It felt like a beef patty and had very interesting and delicious seasoning. Cafe Sevilla, located at The Triangle, was a hit on multiple fronts. From the live music and dancing to the heavy pours and well-made dishes, our stomachs were happy and shoulders were shimmying. We ordered the pea & garlic dip, papas bravas, paella Valenciana, and platter de carne (lamb, short rib, meatballs, and sausages), and we'd do it again- no hesitation. She provided us insight on what was the best choices on the appetizers for our group. We went with a few choices to start and we were a party of 12 and they didn't make us wait long either. Also we did make a reservation for our party ahead of time so please reserve ahead of time to make it easy for everyone and the restaurant if your party is a big! We ordered so many food appetizers and I did my best name each one in my photos that I could remember off the top of my head. Probably my favorite was the Brussels sprouts a la Barcelona! The taste was savory and smoky but not too overpowering. My second best favorite was Rioja Short Rib entree! The short rib was cooked for 16 hours and it melted in your mouth! The regular portion is definitely big enough to share among a few people, especially if you get other dishes.
