Came on a Sunday night for takeout order. I ordered through phone and they said my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant 30 minutes later, stood there and wait for another 25 minutes until I finally got my food. If my order is gonna take about an hour to be ready, you shouldn't lie to me at the first place. I ordered a family size of the Traditional Paella, but got home and found out that they gave me a single size paella. I called and the lady was nice, she promised me a refund on the missing paella. But still, $29 paella for only 3 pieces of shrimps and 2 mussels? Ridiculously tiny portion of rice. Ham and chips platter cost $53 for only 4 thin slices of ham. I'm just so disappointed with the food portion. I would rather go to Pueblo and try out some decent tapas and paella. If Pueblo was open, I could have just avoid such an awful experience with Cafe Sevilla. read more

Great place for a date night! Great upscale decor and ambience. Staff is attentive and friendly. They have a variety of drinks but my favorite is the Barbacoa Margarita followed by an Afternoon in Valencia. I enjoy scallops and this restaurant has some tasty scallop paired with some fresh bead and that aioli dipping sauce is amazing. read more

I never write bad reviews... but Sevilla has remedied that. I was in a party of 11 for New Years Eve, we each paid $75 ahead of time for a 10:30 reservation, thinking we would get $75 worth of beverage/food/service. I would say that we basically paid to be ignored and told "what do you want me to do? I'm busy!" when we ask for WATER. We got there ahead of our reservation, waited in line for 35 MINUTES. Then when in, they had us standing and waiting FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES before they cleaned a table to seat us. By this time, we had looked at a menu, ordered our food and drinks immediately knowing there would be a wait... boy was there a wait, I think our food is still being made to this day. IT NEVER CAME OUT. FOR 2 HOURS, we flagged our waiter down multiple times asking for updates, and he started quickly sprinting past our table, clearly serving others, giving them food and drinks and avoiding eye contact. Wish I got his name, tall chunky white guy, short buzzed darker hair. I even had to ask another waitress to get our waiter, and it still took him another 20 minutes to come by. She seemed nice tho and a lil apologetic. I get it, you're busy, but like, if you see an upset party can you not maybe go check on the order and give us an estimate? Instead of repeating "well what am I supposed to do for you?" Uhh.. I don't know.. your job? He didn't even pretend to care. The only thing we got was a couple vodka sodas and 2 pitchers of "margaritas" (or as one in our party put it... more like sweet lemon juice). I WOULD NEVER TREAT A PAYING CUSTOMER THE WAY WE WERE TREATED. The problem is, we paid ahead of time and lost our leverage and they took advantage of that. It was disorganized and unprofessional. I was really looking forward to trying the paella. Heck, if even the charcuterie board came out or a basket of bread or crackers I might give another star. But we left at 1 AM wondering if we should stop at Taco Bell. Because we had nothing in our stomaches except the watered down margarita. Also, never got the water. The teeny tiny pitcher in the photo that looks like it might hold water.. das the margarita. ... The music was good though, they chose a good DJ. All in all, would not recommend going here. 0/5 stars. Actually, -75. Given that's how I feel in my wallet. In addition to paying double for the Uber that night to get out due to the holiday rates. No more pre-pay events for me. And we hope to get our money back, definitely a scam. P.S. I added a photo of the table after 1.5 hours of us sitting. So you can see that he did have time to kindly throw some hats at us as he ran past. See the empty table in the picture behind with the hats? I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did yesterday! They don't take reservations but the wait goes by quick if you get there early. Our server Giselle was amazing! She was super patient and helpful when it came to the menu and took the time to explain everything to us. She made our experience here really great with her amazing customer service!! We ordered the flatbread and it tasted really good, it was the perfect appetizer. I ordered the paella that comes with salmon and I thought it was amazing. Amazing flavors all around and I really enjoyed it. The salmon was a bit over seasoned but it was still good. My sister got the melted cheese dip which she thought was really good. The ambiance of this place is really nice and fun. The music does get really loud which makes it hard to talk to each other at the table. Definitely a good spot for appetizers and drinks. I will be returning to try some more menu options. One comment I do have is that the menu is pretty difficult to read, it would be nice to have better descriptions of what the foods are because it was really confusing to all of us. This is a new restaurant and Im sure they're still working on a lot of improvements! Overall, I really enjoyed the food here and can't wait to be returning. This place is delicious, we were first kinda sent to an entrance that was closed since this place is a bar/club and restaurant. We got help finding our way in by someone who didn't spear to work there but definitely had our best Interest he may have been manager or owner but we got service and he was very kind to employees as the place was slow that evening and was going to close early chef agreed to serve us and we were seated promptly, we had been driving from the Bay Area and it was late but we wanted a nice dinner to wind down, our waitress was awesome and brought us drinks promptly after ordering. My only complaint is that the restaurant charges a 4% bs employee tax and honestly, I feel like it is your job as the restaurant owner to provide for your employees, not your patrons. If you feel like you're not paying them enough or healthcare coverage isn't good, then fix that on your own like every other business owner. As soon as I sat down I knew what I wanted, we ordered two red sangrias and let me tell you; they were perfection. The type of sweet, slightly tart, but not too "strong" perfect sangria. Yet, they hit you out of nowhere and then it's a true Boozy Sunday Funday. The ambiance and decor is more upscale, it definitely has Barcelona vibes. There were families in the dining area and couples scattered through-out the bar. Young and old with a more early to mid-30s group. FOOD - COLD TAPAS: We ordered the Ceviche Trio which includes halibut & shrimp, spicy octopus and ahi tuna tartar. Out of the three the spicy octopus was easily the tastiest and ahi tuna my least favorite, but not because it wasn't tasty - it was just not the right texture for me. We also had Tortilla Española which is describes as a "potato tart" basically its served as a slice of potato layers with garlic and goat cheese, seriously amazing, it tasted better than the ones we had in Barcelona. The Pan con Tomate (baguette with tomato) was also delish and we topped it off with Jámon Serrano (ham) and Machego cheese. FOOD - HOT TAPAS Last, but not least we got the Baked Empanada Trio. This was good, but I'd order any of the previous options before this. Certainly had better empanadas. We had Alfonso, "Fonzi" the bar manager sit and chat with us while we ate our ceviche trio and he told us about Sevillas plans to have Flamenco and Salsa Music Nights. Guillermo, the General Manager also talked to us and checked on us to make sure we were doing great. The service is top notch, the food, the ambiance, the drinks. They just opened and I hope nothing changes in the future as they get busier as I plan to bring my friends here as my new go to spot! Wow. I took one of my long time good friends to dinner here for her birthday and I am beyond impressed with this place. They have a "tour of Spain " 5 course meal for two option and because their menu is SO EXTENSIVE I was a bit overwhelmed, we chose that. The food was truly beyond any expectation I could have had. And the price of the 5 course meal for 2 was like 100$ plus a discount on a pitcher of Sangria. The value was practically a steal. I wish I remember the name of our server because I would like to mention him, but the service was divine and speedy despite how busy it was. They had live music in the main dining room and one of the servers actually did a surprise performance song and it was seriously amazing. I had goosebumps. The ambiance was outstanding. As people finish up their dinner they remove tables one by one and the dining room becomes a dance floor and it's so fun to watch people dance and have fun. I am a bit of an introvert so as it reached 9:30/10 it started to become a club and I wanted to leave ASAP so the sweet waiter even gave us our desert to go. But if you're a social extrovert, THIS IS THE PLACE. If you prefer a little peace, try to plan your reservation a bit earlier. I highly recommend this spot, 10/10 would 1000000% come back. Cafe Sevilla is dripping with culture and it was more than a dinner, it was truly a dining EXPERIENCE. I am more than impressed and I will be back. read more

Croquetas good flavor but odd consistency. -Cordero was tough and the mint unbalanced. -Black paella was sad... Clams and mussels rubbery, overcooked, and lacked flavor. Sand in the mussels. It has a different vibe...young vibe, maybe? It's fun but a bit too loud for me. The live music is a plus (and also a minus because it's too loud). The crowd is fun too. Everyone dances! Foods can be a hit or miss. We liked the octopus. The tomato bread was alright (kinda milk bread...I'm more familiar with a crusty bread for this dish). Lamb skewers were very forgettable. Same with drinks. Sangria was very flavorless. I had high expectations when I read the caption in one of the photos in Yelp that their sangria was "better than in Spain". Turned out that statement came from the business owner. My bad! Other drinks we ordered were actually quite good though. What I dislike the most is the extra charge. The biggest pet peeve! Please just increase the price such amount and be upfront about that. Don't be sneaky. You really don't need to. All in all, fun environment. Foods and deinks are acceptable and different . I had to order another entree of lamb, that was prepared medium rare. 03. JAMON IBERICO (Known as "The Pride of Spain," this ham is derived from Iberian pigs that feast of a lifetime supply of acorns, giving the meat a rich, nutty taste & aroma that is considered the finest in the world.) $46 I am going to say it's like Italian prosciutto with a little bit more funk. 04. I dined in on a Saturday with a reservation as we were a group. The restaurant isn't too strict on the COVID as many people were walking around with no masks, and social distancing wasn't a thing. I ordered the mushroom and garlic paella and a michelada with corona! I didn't like the paella at all it had no garlic flavor, and it was kind of burnt. I was very disappointed since our food took a long time, and the server kept telling us it was on its way. The bar drinks are okay, my michelada was on point, but my lime mojito was horrible! (I had the server take it back and got a different drink) Our food and drinks all seemed to be rushed as the restaurant was packed!! The only good part of my visit was the server as he tried to make us feel at home and communicate with us as our food was taking long. He did take off two appetizers due to the long wait and kept apologizing to us! He was a kind server!! So from this being said, the customer service is top-notch, but the kitchen needs desperate help in cooking and getting food out in a reasonable time. This place was awesome. From food, to serve to the ambiance of it. I came with a small group and we ordered a munch of hot tapas and every single dish was filled with amazing flavor. What stood out to me most was the Pulpo A La Gallega, the Grilled Spanish Salchichas, and the Vegetarian Paella. I'll be honest. The food was horrible. The service was honorable. Sadly the only reason this restaurant is even getting two stars is because the server did her best to accommodate our party when there was literally no one else to help her out. My girlfriend and I ordered the chorizo burrito and the french toast with fruit. The cheese in the burrito tasted like it had expired and the french toast portion size would have been great if you were a ten year old child. The horrible food plus the ridiculous price they charge for said terrible food will probably haunt me. Luckily I can sleep well at night knowing I'll never have to go back. Shout out to the server though she did her best. EDIT: A manager reached out about this situation to make amends. And for that I will give another star.
